OSAT Find A Sketch Blog Hop

Happy Tuesday! It has been a hot one here on the eastern plains of Colorado. The weather has been a bit dramatic, but we made it through fair and now onto to school! There have been a ton of changes in my life, new house, single mom, new job... I am feeling pretty empowered lately and I can't wait to share my creativity and all of my personal triumphs with you all!

After a bit of discussion, we decided to bring back the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop back. I am already breaking the rules... but this new job has gotten the better of me when it comes to training! You will hear more about that a bit later or maybe even on another blog post.

Today we are hopping with inspiration from the Annual Catalog, on page 22 you are going to find some sketches and we have all created cards using those sketches as inspiration and coordinating goodies (I just broke the rules by not doing the coordinating item).

As you can see, I have made my card with the Latte of Love Suite using the second to the last sketch on the bottom row... Let me get you all details.

Let's get the details! This card started with the cups... Cups of heavenly coffee... I stamped the images using Early Espresso ink, the mug is colored with our Stampin' Blends Lost Lagoon Combo Pack with the inside stamped in Early Espresso. The latte mug is colored with Stampin' Blends Petal Pink Combo Pack and with the latte stamped in Pecan Pie. I have matted the A Little Latte DSP with Lost Lagoon and layered it over a piece of Petal Pink that has been stamped with Sketched Plaid in Petal Pink ink. The sentiment was stamped in Lost Lagoon and die cut with the dies from Unbounded Love Dies. A bit of Linen Thread and a few Rhinestones was the perfect touch for this Lost Lagoon Card Base and Pecan Pie mat!!!

I am so glad that you have stopped by today to see all of our creations! I am so happy to be creating again and I can't wait for you to see what all of my friends have created today!

Creation Station Casing the Annual Catalog

Good morning! I am sure that you all have thought about a time or two, and maybe even thought that I had called it quits! I am not!!! In fact, I am making a big come back. I will talk about some of that later this week. For today let me just show you what I have been up to crafting wise!

Today I make my return to the Creation Station Design Team. Now we are supposed to be casing the catalog.... but all I got out of that was playing with new goodies from our Annual Catalog! I was recently asked to make a real pretty card for an aunt and couldn't think of better stamp set than the Layers of Beauty. Let me go ahead and show you what I have created for you guys today!

This card started with a piece of our Thick Basic White card stock, I simply stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black and proceeded in coloring it with Stampin' Blends using Daffodil Delight, Peach Pie, Poppy Parade and Soft Seafoam. I then used the Stylish Shapes Dies to cut the square out. This is nicely layered onto a piece of Basic Black, but you will notice that the die cut piece is popped up with some Stampin' Dimensionals. I accented this with some of the small leaf dies in the Subtle DSP in Soft Seafoam and added a quick little tag with some Linen Thread. The spatters were created using the brush tip end of my blends, and if you look super close there is even some Wink of Stella!

I am so excited to be back creating again! You can click along the hop below and see what my friend Teri West has in store for you!!

Falling For Folds Trucking Along

Good morning!! Happy Thursday, I have been so quiet lately and you are going to see me ease back into a full crafting schedule again... Especially with Christmas right around the corner. I have been running myself ragged with Volleyball and Football... and it seems to be slowing. I have made time a couple of days a week to create, and I have been having fun doing it!
Today I am back with a few friends on the OSAT Blog Hop... We are falling for Fun or Fancy Folds, and I couldn't wait to ink up my Trucking Along Bundle for this! Let's take a look!

Today I have created a fun Z -Fold card of Mossy Meadow to coordinate with my Beary Christmas Designer Series Paper. It is accented with a belly band of Real Red and adorned with a scalloped rectangle of Old Olive from the Scalloped Contours Dies. I die cut a nice rectangle of Very Vanilla for the sentiment and tire tracks. I stamped the truck from Trucking along with Memento Tuxedo Black and colored it with my Real Red Stampin' Blends. The coordinating punch was so fun to use for this. I simply popped this on my rectangle with a few dimensionals.

The hand sanitizer holder was a box I found on Pinterest.  I simply made the box and accented it with the same DSP as the card. I accented both the card and the box with the Burlap Ribbon from the Real Red & Burlap Ribbon Combo Pack.

I am so glad that you stopped in today! I can't wait for you to see what my friends have made!

OSAT Mix It Up Blog Hop

HI!! Remember me?! The mom of 3 crazy kids who lives a total chaotic life of sports, 4H and everyday life?! I can't tell you how good it was to be back in the craft room! Although, I must confess... I have very little of what is in our new Annual Catalog, but pig feed seems to be outranking my stamping!!! Taryn has kept herself busy with sports camps and her pigs since before school let out... now we are ont he final countdown until fair!

So today I am back with my crew from the OSAT Blog Hop Team and we have put together a blog hop full of pattern mixing and I can't wait to show you what I have mixed up for you today!

So for todays hop I have mixed the Fresh As A Daisy DSP with the Dots & Spots Die to create this great "You make my day" card using the Cheerful Daisy Bundle. I was so excited to be using Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist together with our Basic Black again! It truly is one of my favorite color combinations. I am going to keep this short as this is my first day back on the job...

Thank You for stopping in!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Key To My Heart Kit

Thank God it is FRIDAY!!! Lets just take a minute to think about the fact that TARYN, turns 13 tomorrow!!! I will be the parent to ALL teenagers.... I am not sure I am ready for this! We had basketball last night and had a plan of going to dinner tonight but that may be messed up with sick boys!

This month with A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop, we are hopping with the kit "Key To My Heart". I had a great little add of treat boxes that I decided to skip... I couldn't wait to come up with an alternative, because if you know me hearts are not my favorite! Let me show you what I have created.

The card started with a base of Pale Papaya and mat of Calypso Coral Cardstock. I decided to use a card base to create my tag with the Tailor Made Tags dies. This sits nicely on piece of the Delicate Desert DSP. I tied a cute bow with the thread from the kit with a key and lock die cut from the kit. The sentiment was stamped in Gray Granite ink and was the perfect touch!

New To SU Saleabration

Happy Wednesday!! I can't believe we are over half way through the month! Life has been a little chaotic with basketball and weather here! Taryn managed to sprain her ankle at her game Monday night and now we have over 8" of snow on the ground...

I am back with my friends New At SU blog hop today! We are each featuring something from the NEW Sale A Bration catalog! I couldn't wait to play with the Dainty Flowers DSP. I have mixed it today with the Framed Florets stamp set and Timber 3D Embossing folder. Lets take a look!

My card started with a base of Blushing Bride card stock with a mat of Crumb Cake card stock that I have distressed the edges of with an old pair of Paper Snips. I took the Blushing Bride floral print from the Dainty Flowers DSP and added a bit of Crumb Cake ink using our Blending Brushes. This is accented with a panel of Crumb Cake card stock that I have embossed with the Timber 3D embossing folder. Next I took another pattern from the Dainty Flowers pack that I cut at 2.5" x 4.5". This card was begging for some Linen Thread. I stamped a sentiment from the Framed Florets stamp set in Blushing Bride ink and splattered it with a bit of Crumb Cake ink from my Stampin' Write marker before die cutting it with a circle from the Stylish Shapes. It is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals and accented with the Elegant Faceted Gems. This card came together so nicely and was fairly simple to make!

I am so glad you took the time to stop by! I can't wait for you to see the other Sale A Bration items in the hop, you can click through the list below!

OSAT Fresh Finds Blog Hop

Hello!!! Happy New Year to all of you, I can't believe that our holiday break has come and gone so quickly. Junior High girls basketball is in full swing. Taryn has really enjoyed it this far and her second game is tonight. I ended up missing her first game driving back from Children's as Josh was scheduled to have his Ambulatory EEG. Never a dull moment!! I hope that your New Year is off to an uneventful start!

I am back with my One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop Team with our January Blog Hop! This month we are hopping with new goodies from the Stampin' Up! Jan-April 2023 Mini Catalog! Yes you read that right, our Mini Catalog is from January to April this year. When I started seeing all the new goodies I just knew that the Desert Details and Delicate Desert DSP was going to be on my list! Let me show you what I have created with this gorgeous suite!

This bundle speaks to my Boho Cowgirl soul! I love the DSP and stamp set. I am sure you are going to get tired of seeing things with it! I inked up the succulent with sponge daubers first with Blackberry Bliss and the outside with Soft Succulent. I then used the coordinating die to cut it out. This is layered over a border cut with the Desert Details Dies of Soft Succulent card stock and is adhered over a piece of the Delicate Desert DSP. I have cut the Aztec like piece from the Dry Brushed Metallic DSP and it is tucked behind the succulent. This is nicely layered onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock. The sentiment is stamped in Gray Granite on a piece of Basic White. This is accented with the Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins.

I liked my succulent above so much that I stamped and die cut another one. I stamped the sentiment Stylish Shapes largest stitched circle. I again tucked the Dry Brushed Metallic Aztec die cut back behind the succulent and have accented it with the Pastel Adhesive Back Sequins. This is adhered to a white gift bag I found at Christmas time and worked out so cute!

I can't wait for you to see what my friends have created with their Fresh Finds, make sure you click through the list below to get even MORE inspiration!

APPT Blog Hop From the North Pole Kit

Happy Friday!! How many of you are all decorated for the holidays!? I am usually the girl with the totes of decorations in the house the morning after Thanksgiving (If you aren't in the US, you may not understand this), but with football last weekend it put a HUGE kink on things!

I was so happy to receive my From the North Pole Paper Pumpkin Kit! I really would have loved to have ordered extra... but that is not happened and I couldn't wait to get down and dirty with this kit and making a couple alternatives for the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop!

I am no joke over my head with orders and craft fair creations at the moment and this box was such a joy to create with! I immediately knew that I wanted to make a gift card holder with with the treat bag add on... Well enough chatter! Lets look at my creativity at work!

There really is no way to misuse this kit, whether it is tags, cards or gift bags, it is so much fun to use! You can even mix it up and use October "Ho Ho Ho" kit! I chose to mix it with some of the fabulous DSP from our Holiday Catalog. It paired well with the Sweetest Christmas DSP as well as the Gingham Cottage!

So I destroyed one of the treat bags... Just kidding... I used it as paper by cutting it down to 3.75" x 5". It is layered onto a piece of Mint Macaron. I have added a piece of the polka dot paper from the Sweetest Christmas. I trimmed the tag top off of the Mint Macaron glimmer banner. The "Holly Jolly" tag was trimmed to 2" x 2" and matted with Real Red at 2-1/8" x 2-1/8" and was adhered with dimensionals. The sentiment is stamped with Mint Macaron ink and accented with a candy cane from the kit that I chose to tie a Linen Thread bow accented with the Jingle Bell Trinkets. This is all nicely layered onto a Real Red card base in true Christmas fashion!

This is a cute little gift card holder! Again it is accented with the Sweetest Christmas DSP and I added a bit of the Garden Green Gingham Cottage DSP for a fun country touch. I made a quick little pull tab with the Very Best Trio Punch!

The sentiments are stamped in Garden Green and your pocket for your gift card is where that Mint Macaron piece of card stock is. I also accented this with a Linen Thread bow with another Jingle Bell Trinket!

Thank you so much for stopping in! I can't wait for you to see what my friends today, you can click along the list below!!

OSAT Blog Hop Festive Season Blog Hop

Happy Thursday! Long time no blog for me right? I have to be honest, the craft room really hasn't been a joyful place in the last few months... but I have been working my way back and have some joy again! I think I just needed a break... the kids schedule continues to be somewhat grueling with Taryn managing middle school boys basketball and our football team still in the hunt for the state championship. Throw in some sewing for Taryn and church youth group...

This month the OSAT Team is hopping with the theme "Festive Season" and I don't know about you but I am soooooo ready for Christmas. Not sure why, maybe its the walks through Hobby Lobby the last two weekends or the Christmas Bazaar that I will be participating in... I am feeling quite festive myself! So for today's creations I have combined the Jingle Jingle Jingle with the Celebrate With Tags Bundle for this fun and jolly card!

This card was so fun to make, it started with the a piece of our Basic White cardstock cut to 3.75" x 5". Towards the bottom left corner I used one of our Blending Brushes with a bit of Pool Party ink to give a soft "snow" like background. I stamped two of the mittens from the Celebrate With Tags, one in Garden Green and the other in Real Red. I then die cut them with the coordinating die from the bundle. I then die cut the cute little stitched snowflakes also in the Celebrate with Tags dies out of the White Glimmer Paper (which unfortunately is unavailable). Once I had these arranged the way I liked them, I adhered them with a bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue. To coordinate with the Sweetest Christmas DSP, I stamped the word Jolly from the Jingle Jingle Jingle stamp set in Sweet Sorbet ink and then the outline with Pool Party ink. A bit of Red and Clear Rhinestones were just the right touch with the Red Glimmer Paper strip. This is all nicely layered onto a great multicolored stripe from the Sweetest Christmas DSP and a bit of the Sweet Sorbet Bakers Twine!

I stumbled on this box a week or so ago on Pinterest! It holds 5 nuggets and can be dressed up or down... You can even stack a few together and wrap a belly band around it! You can find the tutorial here . I decided to doll it up with a bit of our White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon, a Sweet Sorbet Mitten, Red Glimmer Paper and fun sentiment from the Celebrate with Tags! As you can see below, I have also wrapped my chocolates with coordinating DSP.

I am so glad that you chose to stop by today to see my festive side! I can't wait for you to see what my friends have created too! You can click along the list below to tour the hop!

OSAT Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop

Hey there and Happy Thursday! I can't believe we are nearly halfway through the month of October. Life has been crazy as Joshua has been adjusting to his medication, Taryn has decided to manage middle school boys basketball and Wesley's work ethic at school leaves alot to be desired. No rest for the wicked, right?
The One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop Team has some fun fall and Halloween inspiration for you today with our Pumpkin Spice Blog Hop! I have paired the Kindest Gnomes with our Celebrate Everything Hostess DSP to create these cute fall themed creations!

I had so much fun coloring the girl gnome and mushroom house with my Stampin' Blends. The colors I used were Granny Apple Green, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, Crumb Cake, Cajun Craze, Ivory, Petal Pink, Soft Suede and Poppy Parade. After I had the images colored to my liking, I used the coordinating dies to die cut them. This is all cutely layered onto the fall themed piece of DSP from the Celebrate Everything. With a mat of Crushed Curry and base of Crumb Cake you can't go wrong with this fall themed card!

This great little treat/gift card holder is adorbs! I am going to have to take it apart to make it again so that I have all of the dimensions to share with you. It neatly holds two Ghirardelli chocolates and has a pocket for a gift card. I tried to get a good picture for you, but I am sure you can get the idea!

I can't wait for you to see what my other crafty friends have come up with! You can click along the list below to see all of them fall themed cuteness!

APPT Spooky Treats Blog Hop

Happy Friday! We have made it through the week! Can you believe we are in October already? We have had a beautiful week of weather and today finally feels like fall! So I plan on making a batch of Beef and Noodles. The last week has been challenging as Joshua had an appointment with his new neurologist and we have decided to change up his meds a bit. This has made him EXTREMELY drowsy which is not ideal in the classroom environment. We also stumbled on a challenge with regards to finding his epilepsy rescue meds...  So we are off on an adventure this morning to get them and stop at Walmart!

This month the APPT team is hopping with the Paper Pumpkin Kit from September "Spooky Treats". These fun and spooky treat holders are sure to be a hit, but not everyone wants to make treat holders. So I have whipped up a card and a treat holder for you today, lets take a look!

The card started with the layer of Orchid Oasis! I used the host paper from the Holiday Mini and came up with a quick and easy lay out using a few of the die cuts and the orange plaid pattern for the box sleeves. Its accented with a few of the stars from the kit. The box was straight from the kit but I copied the template of the sleeve using the host paper once again! A bit of ribbon was the perfect accent. These boxes are great for two of the smaller peanut buttery chocolates that everyone loves!

There is another look at the box!

I am so glad that you stopped in today to see my creations! You can click around the hop through the links below!

Happy Friday!

New At SU Perfect Pair Blog Hop

Happy Wednesday! Hope that your week has been fabulous! We had about a 40 degree cool down here on the eastern plains of Colorado and that calls for soup, sweaters and a big cup of coffee. It is a pretty quiet week here, no football and Taryn had a volleyball tournament last night! It was nice to sneak to my craft room this morning and create!

Today I am hopping with the New at SU team! We are so excited to feature some of our "Perfect Partners" with some of our newer stamps and dies bundles! I was so excited to stake claim on the Cottage Rose Bundle for this hop and I can't wait to show you what I have created!

When I claimed the Cottage Rose bundle, I initially called it the Abigail Rose bundle... and this suite as a whole speaks to my soul but I wanted to show you that it can be bright, pretty and fun! So today I have paired it with the Black & White Designs DSP that is in our Holiday Catalog.
I started this card with the a Scalloped Rectangle from the Scalloped Contour Dies with the black stripe. I cut a piece of the chevron DSP to fit inside and used our Blending Brushes with Polished Pink, Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green. I just loved the way that it turned it out. Next, I stamped the flower from the Cottage Rose Bundle in Memento ink and colored it with Polished Pink and Granny Apple Green Blends and die cut it with the coordinating dies. I chose to use Coastal Cabana card stock as my mat but you will notice it has a bit of sparkle. I used a whole bottle of Wink of Stella mixed with some Rubbing Alcohol to create a shimmer spray with one of our spritzing tools. Then I added a bit of the Black Bakers Twine from the basics pack and tied it with some coordinating ribbon scraps I had on hand! This card is accented with our Iridescent Rhinestones and sits beautifully on a base of Basic Black!

I am so thankful for you stopping by today! You can tour the whole hop by clicking through the list below! I can't wait for you to see how creative my friends are!
