OSAT Throwback Thursday Blog Hop

Guess what day it is Throw Back Thursday!!! Myself and all of my One Stamp At A Time Blog Hoppin friends are throwing it back today!

Did you get to me by way of the amazing Justin Krieger?? His style never ceases to amaze me. So this months hop is a "Throw Back Thursday" hop. Each of us had to choose a card from our past and bring it back using new or current products. There could be a few of us who chose to bust in to our vault of retired stuff but you will have to tour the whole hop to see!

My throwback is going back to March of  2016. I actually made the card below for this very hop! The theme was Spring Has Sprung and whipped up this beautiful Double Gate Fold card using our retired set Choose Happiness and a bit of the Sale-A-Bration DSP. I have linked the picture so if you want to take a peak at that hop as well just click the picture below!

One Stamp At A Time March 2016 Hop

Did I take too many pictures? I wanted to be sure I showed you all every detail. This Double Gate Fold card was made using the Coffee Break DSP, Early Espresso Card Stock and Crumb Cake Card Stock. The Coffee Cafe Bundle has an amazingly cute sentiment that fit right in the cup and was perfect in Early Espresso ink as well as the lid. I chose to use the cup stamp from the Merry Cafe in Old Olive ink. I put a cute little Copper Trim bow at the top before adhering the Copper Metallic Thread loops to the Polka Dot Basics embossed Lots of Label made using Crumb Cake Card Stock. You will notice this is on a nice little belly band to hold the card closed. When opened my Circle Tab Punch was perfect addition to the top so that you can pull the card right out of the pocket. You could even put a gift card or gift certificate in this pocket if you wanted to. The Old Olive sentiment on the inside is from the set Mixed Drinks but somehow seemed appropriate with the Sahara Sand Coffee Beans.

The cute little treat holder I will be sure to get a tutorial up of over the weekend. I simply adhered DSP to this cute little Hershey Nugget Holder before die cutting the coffee cup window out. I added an acetate window just for added protection. I used three Hershey Nuggets and wrapped them with more of the Coffee Break DSP and adhered them behind my coffee cup shaped window. Adorable right??

Stamp Ink Paper 115 Color Challenge

Happy Tuesday to you all! Stamp Ink Paper is back with a fun end of summer color challenge for you to play along with!

Did you have a good weekend? We spent most of the weekend inside. We have had terrible smoke around here due to the fires in Montana and surrounding areas. Although, my intention to get housework done didn't really happen, my craft room is almost clean.

Obviously after a 3 day weekend with the WHOLE family I was thinking wine when I went into my craft room yesterday morning!

I used the Shimmery White card stock to watercolor my Tag and Wine glasses from the new set in the Holiday Catalog called "Half Full". It was designed by Million Dollar Achiever Linda Bauwin, and of course a must have on my list. The glasses of wine are water colored with Soft Sky and So Saffron with the Aqua Painters. I added some Wink of Stella for sparkle. I decided to fussy cut the tag and color the grapes with So Saffron, however the leaves I used Always Artichoke with my Blender Pens. I used Basic Black Archival for all of my water coloring. The Tag is popped up over the abstract script from Background Bits in the Smoky Slate ink with a nice strip of the 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon in Soft Sky to coordinate with the tags top that also used the same ribbon. I few silver Faceted Gems and this card was good to go!

I hope you enjoy my glasses of Pinot!
I can't wait to see what you make for this challenge!

Creation Station The ABC of Stampin Blog Hop

Welcome to September!! I can't wait for sweater weather which I am sure is just around the corner.
This month the Creation Station Team is hopping with the "ABC's of Stamping". When I hear ABC I immediately thought about back to school!

Did you get to me by way of the amazing Sara Nell Langland?? She is so creative and I just love what she came up with this month! If you missed her, you can get to her by clicking the Back button below!
Sara Langland

Every teacher loves an apple and I wasn't quite sure what to come up with for this theme hop. When I sat down and started brain storming it all came together really fast. I will get you the details below!

So the card was really pretty easy once I had the 3D Apple idea. I took 8 of the 2 1/4" Circles punched out of Real Red card stock and adhered them using Liquid Multipurpose until my Apple became whole. The Leaf Punch with Garden Green was the perfect touch with the Jute Cord Core. I hot glued this onto a Close pin with a strip of DSP from the Quilted Christmas pack.
The apple on the card only used 4 of the circles! I adhered it onto the card using Tear & Tape and added a cute little Jute Cord bow and a strip of the Burlap Ribbon. The DSP on the corner is from the Quilted Christmas pack and gave me that perfect back to school look on top of my Basic Black card stock. I chose Watercolor Words because it looked most like handwriting on the chalk board to me. It is heat embossed in Stampin' Emboss White and then matted this onto a layer of Real Red to go onto a Garden Green card Base.

TGIF 123 Color Challenge Soft Sky, Peekaboo Peach, Early Espresso

Oh thank heavens! TGIF!!! It has been a busy week for this chick! I can't believe that the kids have been in school for a whole week. Wesley is already trying to work the system, Joshua has stayed home due to some intestinal bug, and Taryn... she is easy!

I must say I was a little unsure of what I was going to pull off with this color combo... Then I remembered that I was due to get a package from Stampin' Up! and had that A-Ha moment!!

Unfortuantely you can't see the lovely Soft Sky Water Colored background, but it is there! I used the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper to for my crinkled up strip across. I smooshed (yes that is the technical term) the Very Vanilla Lace Trim under it. The Linen Thread was just the right touch over the top. My cute little Cup was created with the Merry Cafe stamp set using Early Espresso ink on a piece of Soft Sky DSP from the Coffee Break DSP pack. The Merry Cafe actually coordinates with the Coffee Cups Framelit Dies so it was a must have. My cute little pumpkins in Peekaboo Peach are from the Pick A Pumpkin Bundle and were just right for this fall inspired card! A few faceted gems and I was done!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to see what you come up with for this fall like color combo!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing August Kit

Welcome to another edition of the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop! We are featuring alternative ideas with the August kit and I can't wait to show you what I have come up with!

Did you get to me by the amazing the amazing Cathy Caines? I just love everything she does! Not to mention the fact that I get to call her my friend.
Now lets get to my goodies!

I took a Night of Navy  piece of card stock and created a divider inside of the box. I made a cute little pocket with a scrap of paper for the tags as well as the pen holder. Instead of the ribbon provided in the kit I liked the Night Of Navy Gingham better! I tied a quick Whisper White Bakers Twine bow around the ribbon. The note pad was created using some sheets of notebook paper that I stapled and piece of one of the card fronts, I used Tear N Tape to adhere this to my note pad.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to show you what Cindee has cooked up for you! You can get to her by clicking the next button below, and if you get lost there is full list of all the hoppers at the bottom!

#TGIFC121 TGIF Challenges Its A Girly Challenge

Friday!!! Friday!! Friday is my favorite day!! I can't believe it is already here. So excited, I am going to my first Colorado Rockies game tomorrow night! It should be a good time!

This week with TGIF Challenges we are making Fab Girly cards! What is better than Rose Gold, Copper or Champagne, Right?

My fab base of my card is Blushing Bride with a nice matter of the new Champagne Foil Paper. I matted a quick layer of the Year of Cheer Specialty DSP in a wonky way. I used the Copper Trim for a fabulous little accent to my Stitched Oval that is Copper heat embossed with the sentiment from Festive Phrasese. I colored in the hearts with my Blushing Bride Stampin' Write Marker and added a few sequins to give it some dimension!
Girly, Fabulous and Simply Stunning!

I can't wait to see your Glam! All details are linked above on the challenge graphic!
