Stamp Ink Paper 147 Color It Challenge

TUESDAY!!!! Yes, I had to shout it because I am so glad that Monday is past us! I spent an hour last night chasing FFA Pigs back into the pen that they had escaped from. No, they do not belong to me but the property we live on is owned by Troy's employer and the owners sons kids, have all of their 4H/FFA animals here. So... While it was not my circus or my pigs, we helped their 17 year old daughter get them all back to their pen!

This week with Stamp Ink Paper we have fun and creative challenge for you. We want you to Color It! We want to see creations made with coloring techniques. I definitely stepped out side of my comfort zone today with Watercoloring! Lets take a look!

This card really came out better than planned. I simply used the laser cut piece from the Soft Sayings Card Kit. I used some washi to tape it down to my Water Color Paper. Once I had this all set up I began using my Aqua Painter to color in the leaves Lemon Lime Twist, Berry Burst, Pool Party and Crushed Curry inks. This card came out exactly how I wanted. I matted this on to a layer of Gold Foil Paper and Berry Burst before adhering this onto its Pool Party Card Base. A few of the White Perfect Accents were colored using the Dark Pool Party Stampin' Blend. A nice simple "Amazing" sentiment from the Celebrate You thinlits and a Gold Glitter leaf was the perfect touch to finish this off!!

Thank you so much for stopping in today! I can't wait to see what you do to Color It for this challenge!
If you like what you see I have provided links to the product for you to order!

TGIF Challenges 151 Inspiration Challenge

TGIF!!! We are on our way to Garden City, Kansas today for some indoor water park fun!! That is what us land locked people do this time of year for Spring Break!! Especially when the weather can't decide if it is going to snow, rain or let the wind blow!

TGIF is back this week for a beautiful inspiration challenge, I am sure that many of you will look at this and think "Flowers"... I took one look at this and went "Ooooo Colors!!!!"

Click Here For Full Challenge Details

We are creeping in on our last couple weeks of Sale A Bration and I have finally found a fun way to use the Springtime Foil Specialty DSP with the Paisley and Posies Bundle, lets take a look!!

POW! It is bright and cheery much like the colors above in the bouquet of flowers. I sponged Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry onto the copper dot Springtime Foil paper! It has a nice ombre effect moving across the card. Once I had this sponged I wasn't quite sure what to put on this beautiful background, then it hit me! I haven't used this bundle in SOOOOOOO long! I inked up the various stamps in the colors used to sponge the background and even used a few dies with Copper Foil and arranged them on the diagonal. The card itself didn't need any bling because of the foil dots. Celebrate seemed appropriate for the fun colors, so it was die cut twice using Crushed Curry Card Stock. The card base of Pumpkin Pie and bright matte of Melon Mambo was just the right touch with this fun, bright card!

I can't wait to see what inspires you with our inspiration challenge this week! Have a great weekend!

Stamp Ink Paper 141 An Amazing Sketch

Happy Tuesday!!! Stamp Ink Paper Challenges is back with a sketch that our whole design team interpreted in many different ways!

The kids are on Spring Break and surprisingly, I was able to get not just todays card done, I got my card done for tomorrow too!!!

This sketch can be looked at and made in so many ways and I can't wait to show you how I worked it out...

The card started with my Rich Razzleberry Stampin' Blends colored flower from the Birthday Blooms Stamp set. The leaves are colored using the Old Olive Stampin' Blends as well, I then fussy cut the flower and bigger leaves using my Paper Snips. I stamped the image in the center on another piece of Thick Whisper White Card Stock and on the edges too. These were also colored using the Stampin' Blends. The best part is something that couldn't be seen in this picture. The center of the flower is filled with Clear Wink Of Stella. My lovely Champagne Foil sentiment just set this card off! It is nicely layered onto the striped pieced of the Petal Passion DSP with a Basic Black Matte and Rich Razzleberry card base!

Thank You so much for stopping in today! I can't wait to see what you come up with for this sketch!

Scrapbook Sunday Love Theme Blog Hop

Sooooo happy to be back this Sunday with the Scrapbook Sunday Blog hop! We have had a rather relaxing weekend although today I am going to clean the craft room! It will be daunting but it is kind of nice that our dumpster for trash service is about 25 Yards away...

This month we are hopping with a "Love" theme. What wasn't to love about Novembers OnStage Live experience. I could honestly do a WHOLE scrapbook or two with all of the pictures I have. This was one of the best experiences of my Stampin' Up! life. It was definitely kicked up a notch when I had the fortunate opportunity to meet the CEO of Stampin' Up! Sara Douglass. The funny thing about my page below, recently Sara was live on Facebook making the CUTEST cupcake box. She used this very piece of DSP. I gasped and responded to her with "I can't cut the piece of paper". Sara quick replied "Andrea! You have to cut the paper!!!". Guess what?! I didn't cut the paper, and chose it to showcase some OnStage memories!

I can't lie! This was a rather easy page to whip up! It helps when Jenny Hall and I were video chatting because scrapbooking still gives me some anxiety. Especially when I have procrastinated!!! The Painted with Love DSP and coordinating stickers were perfect for this project. I matted my ribbons and name tag on Powder Pink card stock and added a nice Calypso Coral bow from the SAB ribbon pack. The Gold Library clip was a nice touch. I had a photo of the main stage back drop that I cut a  matte of Gold Foil and Powder Pink to match the angles. The photo of Sara and I was taken right outside the Main Stage, yes I was emotional! It was an AMAZING experience and I will treasure it for years to come with this amazing page. I cut the amazing from the Celebrate You thinlits. I cut it out of Melon Mambo, Powder Pink and Rich Razzleberry. Because this moment was just that!

I can not wait for you to see what Tanya has in store for you! It is sure to be amazing! You can get to her by clicking the next button below or there is a full list of hoppers at the bottom you can also click through that way as well!

Paper Craft Crew 277 Sketch Challenge

I am back on the Paper Craft Crew today! I have a houseful of sickies! Influenza has hit our house! Cross our fingers that no one else gets it!

I am designing today with the Paper Craft Crew and we have a fun sketch for you all to play along with!

I am going to keep this post short and sweet as I am playing nurse today! This fun and fabulous card started with a base of Daffodil Delight and was matted with Basic Black. The stripe is from the Tutti Frutti DSP. my black and white piece is from the Pick A Pattern DSP and I used my Envelope Punch Board to round the corners. I wanted to added some texture to the card so I instantly grabbed the Wood Textures DSP! I then stamped the flowers from the Amazing You Stamp set with Memento Ink and then used the Stampin' Blends to color them in! My Paper Snips got a workout coloring these out. I used some Gold Glimmer Paper with the Leaf Punch to add some sparkle. The Celebrate You Thinlits were perfect for this card... I like to cut multiples and adhere them together to give it some thickness! A few Glitter Clear Dots and I was done!!!

I can't wait to see what you make for this sketch! Have an amazing day!

Stampin Friends All About Love Blog Hop

Welcome to the 2018 Stampin Friends Blog Hop! This amazing hop was created with just a pinch of the creative members in a fun and creative Facebook Group if you haven't joined, you should!

We decided to kick of the year with an All About Love theme. If you know me, in years past I have complained about hearts. I think I have even said that I hate hearts. They are just not my thing... until NOW! Thanks Stampin' Up! Stampin' Up! has created a lovely suite featuring the Painted with Love Specialty DSP (Which is SUPER FAB), Sure Do Love You Bundle and the Heart Happiness Photopolymer set. There is even some Pink and Gold Tinsel to use for your special treats!

My card starts with a nice Rich Razzleberry  Cardstock base and Melon Mambo matte. I have used the tiny heart side the Painted with Love Specialty DSP. This paper is so cute with all the little hearts that look painted, there are even some gold foil ones to add some sparkle! I used the Stitched Oval from the Stitched Shapes with the Layering Ovals. The Layering Oval was cut from coordinating DSP. I took a quick piece of the Powder Pink Shimmer Ribbon and made a quick knot. The Gold Mini Sequin Trim added the perfect amount of sparkle. My Stitched Oval is stamped with the heart from Watercolor Words using Melon Mambo ink. I then layered the "You" from Celebrating You thinlits to put over the heart. I added some Glimmer Enamel dots and I was done.

Here is how I made my cute little treat holder...
  •  Cut the DSP or Card Stock at just under 2 inches x 12 inches
  • Use the Scallop Tag Topper and Punch BOTH ends
  • Score the strip at 6" and 7" to hold your treats, I used a pack of Little Debbie Hearts.
  • Staple the ends at the top. You can embellish how you would like. I made a quick little tag using the Heart Happiness set and tied a quick bow using the Love Mini Tinsel combo pack!

I am so glad that you joined us today!! To keep on hopping you can click through the list below! Next on the hop is the oh so sweet and amazing Barbara Welch! Have a great Thursday!

Stamping Sunday SaleABration Favorite Blog Hop

WOW!!! Who has two thumbs and is posting her second Sunday in a row?? This girl!!! I was totally surprised when the amazing Sara Levin invited to be a guest designer for the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop and what better to hop with than our  Sale-A-Bration favorites.

If this is your first time on my blog, Welcome! I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in the United States. My Family and I live on the eastern edge of Colorado. We have 2 horses, a dog and a rabbit! Did I mention I have 3 kids? It really is never a dull moment with 2 boys and a girl...

Like I said above, the theme for this months hop is Sale-A-Bration favorites!! I have really whipped up some cuties for you. Lets get to my projects!

I really had to branch out a bit today... I wanted to use product for this hop that I hadn't quite used yet. I mean we all know that those Celebrate You thinlits are hard to put down but I hadn't used the Sweet Soiree Memories and More Card Pack or DSP. I also have used the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit but in an entirely different way!

The card starts with base of Calypso Coral with a coordinating matte of Rich Razzleberry. The Old Olive with Silver Foil Stripe from the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper was unmistakably the right way to go once the card started coming together. The Celebrate is die cut using the Celebrate You thinlits out of the Sweet Soiree DSP. I adhered it to a card from the Sweet Soiree Memories and More Card Pack. I embellished this a bit with some of the washi tape in the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit. When I was putting this together I decided to add a Calypso Coral matte just to have a bit of contrast. The floral die cuts in the embellishment kit are exquisite! I wasn't quite sure which one to use but decided to use the ones above and added a few of the vellum die cuts too. A few Clear Glitter dots if you look closely just set this card off!

I am so excited that the Mini Pizza Boxes from the Holiday Catalog are carrying over! These little guys have a bit of room in them. I must admit that mine is empty. This way I can fill it with whatever I want.  To coordinate with the card I matted the Rich Razzleberry Card stock onto the box. It has the same DSP as the card so they matched. The Whisper White die cut tag is from the Cake Soiree Bundle. I decided to add few Silver Metallic Thread loops behind the flowers from the Sweet Soiree embellishment kit. Again I have accented these flowers with the vellum and foil leaves as well. My cute little sentiment is from the Party Pandas set. I used the Modern Label Punch to cut it out before adhering it to the rose like flower on the left. The Whisper White Silver Metallic edge ribbon was a nice touch to this little box...

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I was more than thrilled to be here today!! Now for trip down under to see what Cheryll Miller has for us!

OSAT Sale A Brate The Occasions Blog Hop

Happy Thursday!!! I am back with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! As many of you know, I created this hop about 3 years ago and I here to tell you that this year is going to be better than ever. We have quite a few new Demonstrators with us this year. That is right, this hop will be EXCLUSIVELY Stampin' Up!

To kick off our new year and new look we are hopping with the theme Sale A Brate the Occasions. We are showcasing items in the Occasions and Sale-A-Bration catalogs. I couldn't wait to play with the Magical Day Bundle... especially after I found my dies that I had misplaced!!!

I must have messed up a dozen unicorns before I used my Watercolor Pencils with my Blender Pen to create this cutie. I used the Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay and Basic Gray pencils. As of Tuesday I wasn't sure what I was going to do with the Unicorn but knew I wanted to use the Magical Day Bundle as I had located the dies that I hid from myself for about a week. I wasn't sure of what I wanted to do for layout yet when I started with this card yesterday morning. Then I had a moment... so I grabbed the Marbled Backgroun Stamp and simply stamped it on to the Pool Party card stock using Pool Party ink. I then grabbed the cloud stencil to use the Shimmery White Embossing paste to make some amazingly sparkly clouds. The sentiment was initially stamped using Berry Burst ink but I came back with the banner in the dies and layered a Pool Party sentiment over the top embellished with a nice little scallop trim of Turquoise Glimmer Paper from the Magic & Myths Glimmer Paper pack. I added some of the Berry Burst 3/8" Metallic Edge Ribbon and adhered the Stitched Oval onto the card with the Unicorn!

My cute box made using the Unicorn paper from Magic & Myths DSP and the Lots of Love box dies. I didn't want to show you just a box with Berry Burst ribbon, so I took the Tutti-Frutti Card Bases from the Sale A Bration catalog. I trimmed them down so that they were the same size as the Narrow Note Cards that are in the Occasions catalog and fit so nicely in the box. I took the pieces that I trimmed and used them to embellish each card. The Iridescent Glimmer Paper was cut using the Celebrate You thinlits from the Sale A Bration catalog. These sentiment dies are a MUST have and can dress up any card!

I am so glad you stopped by today to see my creations! Next on the hop is the AMAZING Raquelle Clifton! I can't wait to see what that Lady and Her Stamps has for all of us! You can get to her by clicking the pretty little next button below!

Paper Craft Crew 275 Sketch Challenge

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday! School is back in full swing and it looks like all 3 kids survived yesterday! Weather is on its way and I am hoping Mother Nature doesn't punish me with a Snow Day! Not sure if I will be blanketing horses as it is suppose to start as rain and turn to snow!

The Paper Craft Crew has a fun sketch that was designed by former design team member Crystal Komara. I wasn't sure how to play with this sketch but after some crafty collaboration with a friend I figured it out..

This Berry Burst card with a matte of Bermuda Bay sure came together nicely. I honestly wasn't sure when I looked at the sketch what exactly I was going to do but it all came together nicely. Once I had my angled piece of Picture Perfect Party DSP. My Bow is also from the Picture Perfect Party, I have fussy cut it and heat embossed it twice with clear Stampin' Emboss powder. This bow has about 4 or 5 dimensionals just so it would lay flat. I added some of the Bermuda Bay Mini Chevron below the bow. The sentiment comes from the Picture Perfect Birthday set. I used my Paper Snips to cut it up so that I could add the Celebrate from the Celebrate You thinlits. I actually ended up cutting this 3 times. Twice out of Bermuda Bay and then out of the Light Green Glimmer Paper from the Magic & Myths Glimmer Paper Pack.

Thank you so much for stopping in today! I can't wait to see the creations that you come up with! Have a great Wednesday!

Sale A Bration Kick Off Blog Hop

I am so excited that Sale-A-Bration starts tomorrow!! Welcome to the 2018 Sale-A-Bration Kick Off Blog Hop!! I want to a say a special Thank You to Janet Wakeland for giving Stampin' Up! Demonstrators Globally an opportunity to debut these amazing goodies!
For those of you who are new to my blog, I am Andrea Tracy-Tucker! I have been a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator for going on 5 Years! I live on the eastern edge of Colorado in small little town of 2000 people! I'm am happily married and have 3 amazing kiddos, 2 Horses and a dog! The crazy thing about this, I grew up in San Diego! So the weather is a drastic contrast to what I grew up with! That is enough of me! Let me show you these cute Sale-A-Bration creations!

So let me tell you something... I couldn't decide what to use!!! I started with a set of cards made with the Celebrate You thinlits. Then I had a moment where I panicked over not doing something "cool" enough... I got up this morning, did not start over but decided to make a coordinating something!

This fun card starts with a bright base of Pumpkin Pie card stock with a matte of Lemon Lime Twist. I couldn't wait to use the candle paper from Picture Perfect Party DSP. The Bermuda Bay matted stripe is also from this collection. The Celebrate is cut using the Celebrate You Thinlits, I cut it twice out of Basic Black card stock. I then cut it out of the Turquoise Glimmer Paper from the Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper pack! This is a really great pack with a light green and iridescent as well! This card wasn't complete until I added the fussy cut Panda from Party Pandas!

This was the something I created this morning to coordinate with my card! Cute and oh so easy! I used our Mini Treat Bag Framelits to create this cutie! The Panda came back! Who doesn't love a panda? The Bubble & Fizz DSP works well with Picture Perfect Party DSP in my card. I made a 2 inch band and created a Stitched Circle with an Iridescent Glimmer paper circle for the panda to hang out on! The Lemon Lime Twist sentiment was created using the torn looking die from the Mini Treat Bag Dies. I added a strip of Bermuda Bay Stars and Calypso Coral dots for some fun layers!

Thank You so much for stopping by today!! I can't wait for Sale A Bration to start tomorrow! You will find a full blog list below! Click right on through for some more amazing ideas!
