Third Thursday Fond Farewell Blog Hop

Well, have you survived the week?! I am barely there! I am no joke on my way out the door to Taryn's spring party! Easter Treats in tow! The kids do not have school tomorrow so I am sure no one will want to sleep in!
On this months Third Thursdays blog hop we are hopping with the theme "A Fond Farewell". With the retiring list coming out this past Monday, I found out the sad news that the Follow Your Dreams Bundle will NOT be carrying over! Gasp, cry... Do what you got to do... The creations I am showing you today were created for a fun After Party Brynn Thornburgh hosted in Salt Lake City! I was asked to design two make and takes... Here is what I made!

The Follow Your Dreams bundle is sadly retiring... Although it will not leave my craft room! I have paired it with Mint Macaron and Petal Pink with touches of the Wood Textures DSP and Champagne Foil. To keep my projects cohesive, for the pizza box I have used the Wood Textures DSP again with Blushing Bride, Sahara Sand and Pear Pizzazz.

Thank You so much for stopping by! I can't wait for you to see what Kimberly has made for you, you can get to her blog by clicking the next button below!

OSAT I need A Hero Blog Hop

Phew!! I can't believe it is already the second Thursday of September, can you? The fact that it was 95 degrees yesterday sure doesn't help! I will admit to saying that I wanted snow more than 3 times in the last 48 hours. I know that it may bite me in the rear end saying out loud... you know, the SNOW word but I am good with it!

This months theme for the One Stamp At Time Blog Hop is "I Need A Hero".  A hero is defined as a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. Teachers are unsung heroes! I couldn't wait to play with the Picked For You stamp set to create today's creations. Let me show you what I have made!

This month I sort of started out backwards. The Mini Pizza Box is a fun go to but did you know that you can use a circle framelit of any size and it instantly turns into a holder. That is what I have done today! I have used one of the larger Layering Circle Dies to create a holder for my Apple Cinnamon flavored candle. I have wrapped this in a 6 x 8 Cello Bag and created a nice little tag using the Festive Farmhouse DSP to coordinate with the DSP on the box.

The card is of a nice base of Thick Whisper White, matted with Cherry Cobbler and a Pinewood Plank embossed piece of Gray Granite. I have stamped the Buffalo Check using Gray Granite on Thick Whisper White. I have layered this onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler. The largest stitched circle seamed to be the only size that would work. I managed to arch the sentiment.

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I can't wait for you to see what the amazing Jay Soriano has made for you! You can get to him by clicking on the link list below! I can't wait for you to tour the whole hop! Have a fabulous Thursday!

OSAT Dont Go Breakin My Heart Blog Hop

Happy February to all of you! Welcome to the Fedruary edition of the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop!!! We are back this month with a fun "Don't Go Breakin My Heart" theme. So there is a chance this hop won't just be Valentines. I know that I can't wait to see what my 22 Stampin' Up! Friends have come up with!

So when I started making this months creations, I didn't want to be predictable. When I sat down yesterday to make my creations, I can tell you that what I actually came up with wasn't what I was expecting. I mean we all know that the quickest way to a mans heart is his stomach! It is a good thing I am a good cook! Let's get to the good stuff!

I just received the Apron of Love Bundle on Monday! I couldn't wait to ink it up and play with it! Truthfully, I was going to use it with the Painted with Love DSP... It wasn't working for me. When I realized I still had some of the Birthday Memories DSP, the cute little girl with the cupcakes were such a cute "love" idea. I die cut the one on the card with the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. I layered this onto a piece of Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits. This is when the Apron of Love Bundle came out to play. I stamped the sentiment using Crumb Cake ink and made a nice little banner using the Triple Banner Punch. I added the scalloped trim using the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch with Marina Mist Card stock. I set both items aside and created my layout using a card base of Marina Mist along with a matte of Blushing Bride. I matted the 2" strip of Sweet Soiree DSP onto a piece of Crumb Cake Card Stock with a simple trim of Silver Bakers Twine. Finally I die cut the baking utensils using Silver Foil. My cute little spatula needed a small piece of Whisper White so it looked real. I even inked it a bit with the light Pink Pirouette Stampin' Blend marker so it looked as though it had frosting on it. A nice Real Red heart was a perfect accent. I added all the elements to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.  I have given you a closer look at the card below.

So my coordinating box is a bit simple, but sometimes simple is good right? I put the same piece of Sweet Soiree DSP as I used on the card on the top using Liquid Multipurpose Glue and then fussy cut the girl from the DSP. I wasn't sure what to do at this point so I decided to use my Lots of Love Bundle and stamp a Blushing Bride heart onto Whisper White card stock. I put the girl on the heart and tied the same twine around the box with the cute little oven mitt tag from the Apron Of Love.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!
I can't wait for you to tour the whole hop! Next on the list is my very dear friend Jeanna Bohanon! She has created the cutest... Well... I will let you look for yourself! The list is below for you to navigate the hop! Have a great day!

Stamping Sunday SaleABration Favorite Blog Hop

WOW!!! Who has two thumbs and is posting her second Sunday in a row?? This girl!!! I was totally surprised when the amazing Sara Levin invited to be a guest designer for the Stamping Sunday Blog Hop and what better to hop with than our  Sale-A-Bration favorites.

If this is your first time on my blog, Welcome! I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in the United States. My Family and I live on the eastern edge of Colorado. We have 2 horses, a dog and a rabbit! Did I mention I have 3 kids? It really is never a dull moment with 2 boys and a girl...

Like I said above, the theme for this months hop is Sale-A-Bration favorites!! I have really whipped up some cuties for you. Lets get to my projects!

I really had to branch out a bit today... I wanted to use product for this hop that I hadn't quite used yet. I mean we all know that those Celebrate You thinlits are hard to put down but I hadn't used the Sweet Soiree Memories and More Card Pack or DSP. I also have used the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit but in an entirely different way!

The card starts with base of Calypso Coral with a coordinating matte of Rich Razzleberry. The Old Olive with Silver Foil Stripe from the Sweet Soiree Specialty Designer Series Paper was unmistakably the right way to go once the card started coming together. The Celebrate is die cut using the Celebrate You thinlits out of the Sweet Soiree DSP. I adhered it to a card from the Sweet Soiree Memories and More Card Pack. I embellished this a bit with some of the washi tape in the Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit. When I was putting this together I decided to add a Calypso Coral matte just to have a bit of contrast. The floral die cuts in the embellishment kit are exquisite! I wasn't quite sure which one to use but decided to use the ones above and added a few of the vellum die cuts too. A few Clear Glitter dots if you look closely just set this card off!

I am so excited that the Mini Pizza Boxes from the Holiday Catalog are carrying over! These little guys have a bit of room in them. I must admit that mine is empty. This way I can fill it with whatever I want.  To coordinate with the card I matted the Rich Razzleberry Card stock onto the box. It has the same DSP as the card so they matched. The Whisper White die cut tag is from the Cake Soiree Bundle. I decided to add few Silver Metallic Thread loops behind the flowers from the Sweet Soiree embellishment kit. Again I have accented these flowers with the vellum and foil leaves as well. My cute little sentiment is from the Party Pandas set. I used the Modern Label Punch to cut it out before adhering it to the rose like flower on the left. The Whisper White Silver Metallic edge ribbon was a nice touch to this little box...

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I was more than thrilled to be here today!! Now for trip down under to see what Cheryll Miller has for us!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing September Kit Hop

It is the last Thursday of the month and we ALL should what that means! It is time for the A Paper Pumpkin Thing blog hop! If it is your first time joining us we are a group of super talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrators that are showcasing alternative ways to use these amazingly fun kits!

This month our kit is called Layered Leaves, it came with numerous leave die cuts, embossed kraft pillow boxes with coordinating cards and envelopes. It truly is an amazing kit with lovely warm fall colors! Let me show you what I have made...

The fabulous Mini Pizza boxes are available in our Holiday Catalog and I just couldn't wait to wrap that gold foil gingham around one of them. It was totally perfect to layer up the leaves on top of this! So easy and cute! I stamped the sentiment using the Cajun Craze ink from the kit onto the tag and tied it around the leaves and box with Crushed Curry Bakers Twine... No joke! DONE!

Thank you so much for stopping by! I can't wait for you to see what the amazing Jennifer Hill has come up with! You can get to her by clicking the next button below!
