The Spot 147 Get Your Heart On Challenge

Happy Tuesday!!! It is a cold son of gun today! We have a bit of snow and it is -5 outside! I tried my hand at a Cottage Pie (its a shepherds pie made with beef), last night for dinner. No one complained except for Taryn... she is high maintenance lately!

Today I am creating for the The Spot design team, we are creating cards with the theme "Get Your Heart On", I love a good play on words but we all know I am not a fan of hearts! To be honest, this card came together so easy and I can't wait to share it with you!

If you have looked over the Sweet Valentine Card kit, DONT! This kit is so easy for our kids to put together but we all know that I can't play by the rules! To start this card I decided to use the Tailored Tag Punch and punch some pieces out of the card bases from the kit. These are all adhered using the Multipurpose Liquid Glue on to a layer of Calypso Coral card stock. It is accented with a bit of the Blushing Bride Metallic Ribbon. The sentiment from the Valentine Keepsakes stamp set is heat embossed with White Stampin' Emboss Powder on the top right and accented with a few Wonderful Gems. I used the my Blending Brush with Melon Mambo on a heart punched with Heart Punch Pack. I then heat embossed a gold bow from the Valentine Keepsakes stamp set. Then I layered it over a Pool Party heart punched with scalloped heart from the Heart Punch Pack, it is layered over the ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals! This card was so easy and fun to put together!

I can't wait to see how YOU get your Heart on this week!
Have a great Tuesday!

Paper Craft Crew 365 Love You Lots

Happy Wednesday! I am so excited to back creating. I think it may be to safe to say that I have my groove back! The kids went back to school yesterday, that left me with a quiet house and uninterrupted crafting time with good music.

I am so glad to be back with the Paper Craft Crew today! We have a great sketch to get your wheels turning with all of the new goodies you got for Christmas... Or maybe some old favorites. I chose to design with the From My Heart Suite! Let me show you what I have come up with...

This great Valentine card was created with the From My Heart Suite! This suite is amazing when ordered in the bundle you get -
* Heartfelt Photopolymer Stamp Set (10% off)
* Heart Punch Pack (10% off)
* From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper
* Real Red 3/8" (1 cm) Double-Stitched Satin Ribbon
* From My Heart Faceted Gems
* Heart Doilies
* Heart Foil Tins
It really is a great deal! I started this card with my embellished heart! I used both punches in the suite and of course the doily. The heart is stamped in Flirty Flamingo with the sentiment in Real Red. I have used the From My Heart Specialty DSP for one of the strips, this coordinates with my Flirty Flamingo stamped strip. I added a bit of Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle and the Real Red Double Stitched from the suite. This is layered onto a nice piece of Whisper White card stock with a mat of Real Red and card base of Flirty Flamingo. What is a card without some bling!? A few of the From My Heart Faceted Gems was just the right touch!

OSAT #SimpleStamping Blog Hop

Happy Thursday to all of you! The One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop Team is back! I am so glad that this week is almost over! Josh had an EEG Tuesday and could only have 4 hours of sleep before the appointment! Did I mention that we have a 3 hour drive there??? Needless to say we both have really messed up our sleep cycles!
This month the OSAT Blog Hop Team is hopping with the theme #simplestamping. It truly is a struggle for ALL that are creatively driven, especially me! On Monday Taryn needed some Valentines for dance/gymnastics, I know a little late in the game but I chose to keep it #simplestamping... Lets take a look!

These cuties were made with the All My Love DSP, While I know in my heart of hearts (pun intended) that the flowers and patterns in this paper pack are timeless the hearts are not. I simply made 3 x 3 Cards in Lovely Lipstick and Flirty Flamingo. I then cut the DSP to 2 7/8" squares to adhere to the front of the card bases. The 2 1/4" Circle Punch layered with the Starburst Punch are a go to of mine when trying to put something together quickly. I chose to use the Stitched All Around stamp set for the sentiment using the Flirty Flamingo and Lovely Lipstick inks. These have been punched with the Starburst Punch and layered onto the Lovely Lipstick and Grapefruit Grove 2 1/4" Circle Punch. Perfect, Easy and adorable!!

The All Adorned stamp set will be available to YOU tomorrow! It is a fun photopolymer set geared towards using on the Stamparatus, I chose to not use my Stamparatus and make some cute little tags for these jars of candies for the Teachers! Using the same color inks as the above creations to be sure that they coordinated! You can see a better picture below...

I tied these on these cute little jars I scored in the clearance bin at Dollar General using the Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon! I think I finished my 4th roll of this ribbon with this project. This ribbon is amazing! It ties really great bows!

I am so happy you joined us today! I can't wait to see what you create with the #simplestamping theme!! Don't forget to tour the whole hop, you can do that by clicking along the link list below!

Happy Valentines Day!

Stamp Ink Paper 183 All My Love

Happy Tuesday! The kids have a snow day and I am not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing yet!  The jury is still out!! I do believe that Chicken and Dumplings is on the menu tonight and all of my Christmas stuff is finally put away! Yippee!

 Click Here for Challenge Details
The Stamp Ink Paper design team is back with an "All My Love" challenge for all of you that are designing and creating for the Valentine season! There aren't many rules with this challenge and I saw it as an opportunity for me to show you the amazing cards we made at my Sale-A-Brate The Love class over the weekend!

Lets talk about the cards! One may look familiar as it was a card I designed and posted for the One Stamp At Time Blog Hop but the card made of the Thick Whisper White Base and the Crumb Cake Base are new designs! Today's designs were created using the All My Love DSP, Forever Lovely Bundle and Meant To Be Bundle! These bundles are some of my favorite from the new Occasions catalog and I couldn't wait to share them with my customers!  They had so much fun making their Lovely Lipstick Heart Backgrounds and using the Stamparatus to make their flowers!

The great thing about this is I ended up with 5 Extra Kits for this class and you have guessed it, the first 5 people who place an order of $30 or more using the hostess code HCM9VXN9 will receive the kit and instructions to make the above 3 cards!

I have provided full product list for you to shop with below! I can't wait to see what you create!
Have a fabulous day!
