TGIF 117 Summertime Blues Challenge

Happy Friday! TGIF Challenges has a fune Summertime Blues Challenge this week! Because we all know that there "Aint No Cure" for them, but at least we made it through the week!!! Big plans for the weekend? We are going to the circus!

I know this isn't a "blue" card! Summer time reminds me of backyard play days, running through sprinklers, spending all day in the barn with the horses and weddings. I was recently asked to make a few wedding cards. One of the requests was a Boho Chic style

My card started with the Wood Textures DSP white wash sheet, The Swirly Scribble thinlit was cut 3 times using Kraft Paper then sponged with Soft Suede ink. I used the Beautiful Bouquet Bundle to create the Powder Pink, Calypso Coral and Soft Sky flowers with Pear Pizzazz greenery. The lovely sentiment is heat embossed with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder. A Linen Thread bow and a few Basic Pearls were just the right touch!

Hope you have an amazing weekend! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

This great card is made with a fabulous color combination of Cherry Cobbler, Powder Pink ad Very Vanilla. I have a friend who wanted a wedding card so I had that idea in my head when I reached for the Colorful Seasons Bundle. My Kraft branch was heat embossed in clear and I also used the Cable Knit Sweater Dynamic embossing folder and the Gold Faceted Gems in the center of the flowers!

Thank You so much for stopping by! I can't wait to see what you come up with for our sketch this week!

Stamp Ink Paper Challenges 96 CAS Wedding

Tuesday! I swear the last few weeks of school just breeze right by! It will be summer before you and I both know it. Then comes the pool, thunderstorms (we had one last night) and grilling with friends!

Today I am designing with Stamp Ink Paper and we have a nice Clean And Simple Wedding Challenge that I know you will enjoy!

This Clean And Simple card was so nice to make. I received the Ribbon Of Courage set at OnStage San Diego. Patty Bennett did an amazing demonstration of the set and was kind enough to sign my copy! I heat embossed one of the sentiments from this set on a stitched circle. I popped this up over a Powder Pink stamped image from the Awesomely Artistic stamp set onto Very Vanilla Card stock. I added a Fresh Fig dragon fly to off set the bottom corner. The card still needed something but I really didn't have any embellishments that coordinated well. My Bronze Sharpie was perfect to color over the Glitter Enamel Dots as shown below!

Thank You soooo much for stopping by! I can't wait to see what you make with this Clean And Simple Challenge!

Stamp Ink Paper 41 A Wedding Themed Challenge

Happy Tuesday! School is back in full swing today and this Stella is getting her groove back in the craft room!
This week we had an amazing Wedding theme challenge and I can't wait to show you my card!!!

This fabulous card starts with a striking base of Basic Black. I then used my Gina Marie stitched rectangles to cut this layer out. I just received her new stitched scallop frames and could not wait to use them for this fabulous shaker! The background of my shaker card is Whisper White card stamped using Pool Party ink with the I love lace background stamp... The sentiment was created using our greetings Thinlits and Perite Pairs!

I can't wait to see what you all come up with! Have a fabulous day!

Stamp Ink Paper 13 Happy Birthday

Hey there and welcome back to another beautiful week of  the Stamp, Ink, Paper Challenge.
School is in full swing and the three day weekend was a quiet one! Got a visit from my lovely down line Bobbie on Saturday. We crafted and sipped margaritas most of Sunday! It was so much fun to have a girlfriend to stamp with!!!

This week we have a fabulous theme challenge! It is almost as easy as a card makers choice (which I tend to over think). The theme is Birthday! After making my card I realized it could be a birthday or even a wedding card...

So I started this card with a base of Rose Red card stock. I then matted the stamped layer with So Saffron. The stamped layer is Whisper White. The leaves I stamped across the bottom in Wild Wasabi are from the set Birthday Blossoms. It is amazing how fast that this card came together. The "Blossoms" from the set are stamped using So Saffron, Rose Red and Mint Macaron. After stamping this beautiful bouquet I used the Pansy Punch to punch them out. I then arranged them among the leaves and adhered them using Stampin' Dimensionals. I then accented the flowers with Basic Pearls in the center of each in assorted sizes. The sentiment stamped in Mint Macaron on the top left is also from the Birthday Blossoms set. To finish this card off I added a few more basic pearls around then sentiment and pretty little bow on the top right using the Jute Ribbon from the Spring Occasions catalog!

Thank You all so much for stopping by! Can't wait to see what you all come up with!
Have a great day!

SIP 4-An Inspiration Challenge

Hey there and welcome back to another Stamp, Ink, Paper challenge!
It has been one crazy week and I am so honored to have my wedding flowers as our inspiration this week! It really did take me back 10 years and reflect on that day! Mr. Tucker and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary on July 2nd with our amazing friends. It was nice to have an adult night out in the middle of summer break!

This card really came together nicely! I wanted to do something I hadn't really done before by having the oval "window", after that it all just came together on its own! Here are the details...

The card base is the lovely Blushing Bride card stock. I then did a clean layer of Very Vanilla card stock. The Rose Die cut is from Dies by Dave. I used the die on my Blushing Bride Card stock. I then heat embossed Stampin' Emboss Clear powder on it twice to give it a shiny appearance. Next I embossed our Tip Top Taupe with our Wood-grain embossing folder and then used the Oval Framelit collection to cut the oval shaped "window" out so that the roses on top of the Very Vanilla could show through. I then wrapped our Venetian Crochet trim around the top and tied a pretty little bow. The banner with "Congratulations"  from the set Big News stamped on it was made using the hexagon punch on the end... It was a little to narrow for out Triple Banner Punch. I used my bone folder to give it a little wave. My stash of Very Vanilla Flower Trim as well as the Blushing Bride flower trim from the retired Artisan embellishment kit came in handy to accent the left side of the banner. I have learned the sequins make everything better! Plus, in my wedding pictures I have a great shot of Mr. Tucker and I walking down the aisle through a shower of bubbles. The Sparkling Clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh reminded me of the bubbles!

Thank you all for Stampin' By! Can't wait to see what you are inspired to do with this picture!! Have a great day!
