A Paper Pumpkin Thing Bone Appetit

Happy Thursday to all of you! It is homecoming week here, so I have spent my mornings rushing around trying to figure which dress up day it is...
The A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog hop is live... It was so hard for me to use the kit when I had great plans to use it for Halloween party treats! Let me show you what I made using ONE box!

I used Pumpkin Pie DSP to accent our Stitched Shapes dies to create my cute stitched squares. In an effort to conserve my boxes I cut these twice out of one box. I even had enough for my cute little banner on my card. My card has a base of Pumpkin Pie with a mat of Gorgeous Grape. I used the 1" Circle Punch for my sentiment. A little Bakers Twine and this great card was done. The coordinating treat tag has the same elements. I used the Delicate Tag Topper to create the tag with the second stitched square!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to for you to see what my friends have created on the hop today! You can see each of the amazing creations by clicking along the link list below!

Stamp Ink Paper 202 We are Back!

Tuesday!!! This is sure to be the Mondayest Tuesday ever with the kids not having school yesterday! Wesley had a football game last night and we didn't get home until almost 7... Needless to say, no rest for the wicked.

Stamp Ink Paper has been on a bit of sabbatical the last few months but we are back and better than ever!

We are designing today with a Designer's Choice! What better way to get you all excited about this amazing card making challenge. I decided to reach into my stash and blog a card I had made when I decided to swap with our new annual catalog goodies. Lets take a look!

My card base is the lovely Rococo Rose with a mat of Terracotta Tile. I have die cut a piece of the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper with the Rectangle Stitched Dies and adhered it to a piece of Sahara Sand with a coordinating piece of Designer Series Paper. This has a beautiful trim of Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon with a small stamped strip of Sahara Sand that I tore the edge on to give it a bit of texture. The sentiment that is also from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set is stamped in Terracotta Tile ink and is accented with the 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots.

Now it is your turn! Get your favorite Stamps, Inks and Papers and create a card for this weeks challenge! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Third Thursdays Hello Holiday Blog Hop

Can you believe that it is already Thursday!? We are off to a watch Wesley play Football in Holyoke this afternoon. He came home from practice the other day telling me that he has decided to play Basketball as well... So it seems that the busy mom schedule will not have a lull after football is over!
Today I am back with the 3rd Thursday Blog Hop team designing cards with goodies from our new Holiday Catalog! I actually have two card classes this weekend using products from the new catalog so it was perfect timing!

This amazing fall themed card is created using the Gather Together and Coming to Gather Designer Series Paper. Would you believe that I designed this TODAY! After seeing a card one of our concept artists made, I asked her how she colored the pumpkins. Needless to say, this may be my new favorite technique! I simply stamped onto our Shimmery White cardstock and used my Aquapainter to move the ink around! My leaf was done with Early Espresso and the pumpkins were done in Cajun Craze, Gray Granite and Mint Macaron. This layered onto a gingham stitched oval with a few Cajun Craze thread loops. I adhered this over a Gray Granite Birch stamped background that is accented with the polka dot burlap designer series paper. A nice big bow and Pretty Peacock sentiment was perfect touch. This is nicely matted on Early Espresso card stock with a base of Mint Macaron!

I am so glad that you stopped in today to see my creation! I can't wait to show you what my friend Kimberley Morris has made for you today! You can get to her by clicking the next button below!

TGIF Challenge 226 Modern Heart Splatter

Happy Friday!!! Are you ready for the weekend!? The kids are not back at school until next week! The days are being counted...trust me!!! Wesley has a football scrimmage tomorrow! The kid is pumped for football this year. It kind of took me by surprise. He tends to always take the easy road, so I thought that after playing last year... this year was questionable. I am excited too, I like being the loudest mom there!

The TGIF Challenges has a fun and what can be messy challenge for you this week! The challenge this week is Splatter and we all know I love to splatter!

Confession time, this card has been made for a while now... I actually used it as a swap card when the Annual Catalog went live in June. Let me show you what I have made!

This card started with my Whisper White card front. I have found that using an old Aqua Painter with a mixture of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Water is the best way for me to make my splatters. Once you have splattered this mixture you sprinkle what ever embossing powder you would like! I chose to use the Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. You will want to be sure you use your embossing buddy when doing this that way the powder doesn't stick in places you don't want it to! A nice Gold Foil banner was perfect with this. The heart is also heat embossed in gold over a background of Flirty Flamingo this great stamp is from the Modern Heart stamp set. I chose to use the largest stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut this out. It is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals over the banner and some Whisper White Bakers Twine! The sentiment is stamped in Gray Granite and then also die cut with Stitched Shapes Dies. To give a bit more umph, I have added a few Metallic Pearls for some visual texture.

I can't wait to see the beautiful mess that you make for this challenge! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Creation Station Stampers Gone Wild Blog Hop

Happy Sunday! Hope that you all are having a lovely weekend. The family and I ran out to watch the swine show yesterday at the county fair. It was really neat to watch these kids with their pigs and the judge taking his time to explain some of his reasoning for his placements. We were there for 5 hours!!! It was a long night!

The Creation Station team is back with a "Stampers Gone Wild" blog hop theme. We are creating cards with animals for you. It would have been easy for me to reach for the Let It Ride or Over The Moon stamp sets, but I wanted to challenge myself a bit and decided to be a little less predictable and use the Rustic Retreat stamp set.

This card started several different ways... but lets talk about the way it ended up! I chose to use the Rustic Retreat stamp set. I have taken the tree line stamp in this set with Mossy Meadow ink to create a border. This is a nice piece of Very Vanilla as is the Gold Heat Embossed deer. I added a touch of the pine on the top left with Mossy Meadow as well. The sentiment is stamped using Crumb Cake ink on Sahara Sand, then fussy cut to adhere to the stitched square with the deer. The Sahara Sand Pinewood Planks was great touch to for this masculine themed card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Next on the hop is Jeanna and I am sure you are going to love what she has created for you! Just click the next button below!

Ten Minute Tuesday Very Versailles

Happy Tuesday! Hope you all had an amazing weekend! We had a fun packed Wray Daze weekend! We enjoyed Family Night on Friday, Wesley was in a dunk tank (I have video to prove it!) and there is always amazing food choices. I chose to have Loaded Tater Tots from the Slawpy Barn... sooo good! After spending a couple hours down there we came home. The parade was on Saturday, I had volunteered to help with float check in, which meant being in town by 7 AM. All the kids were in tow because Troy inevitably got called out. We spent the rest of the day in town enjoying the festivities. Sunday was the day of rest, although Josh, Taryn and I went to Church.

Enough about my weekend, Today I am sharing a relatively simple card that I created in around 10 minutes! That is right 10 MINUTES!! I was so happy to see that the Global Design Project was a Case The Designer Challenge that was relatively clean and simple that went along with my 10 minute Tuesday idea!

If you haven't ordered the Pressed Petals Journal or DSP, DO IT! Both of these items are very versatile and I didn't realize until I had the journal that the pages were perforated so that they can be torn out easily to use for whatever you desire...
I chose a card front! Let me show you what I whipped up for you today!

My card started with a page from the Pressed Petals Journal. The page is a Very Vanilla color with Sahara Sand Script towards the bottom. I chose the largest of Rectangle Stitched Dies to die cut this and give it a bit more panache. When choosing my stamp set, I reached for the Very Versailles because of the similarity in styles. I inked up the leaf pattern with Pear Pizzazz ink and stamped it on the left side overlapping a bit of the script. The copper foil washi is from the Tags & More Accessory Kit. It was a nice added vintage touch. The sentiment fit well on the smallest circle in the Stitched Shapes Dies. I added this with Stampin' Dimensionals after tying the Linen Thread bow. A few gold Metallic Pearls and this card was ready for its Rococo Rose Base!

This card was so simple to make! I have created a full list below so that you can make it too!

OSAT May Fabulous Floral Blog Hop

Happy Thursday to you! It is already the second Thursday of the month!!! Can you believe it!? The kids will be out of school in just two weeks and it seems like no matter what I try to schedule there is always a conflict! Here is a great example, Wesley had a doctors appointment scheduled for Monday. They moved the track meet to Monday instead of Tuesday... So before figuring out he was not going to be eligible... I moved it to today! Phew!!! WRONG... So yesterday, I am hard at work stamping my hands off.... I get an email from Wesley "Mom I can't go to my appointment tomorrow, I have my Ameritown trip".... I kind of wanted to pull my hair out!

The One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop is live this month with a Fabulous Florals theme. I have been showing a bit of new stuff recently, but lets take a look at one of my favorite retiring colors Powder Pink and a great returning favorite Beautiful Bouquet!

First let me say... This was not what I had in mind when creating for today's hop. I had started a Mini Album with the Everything is Rosy Product Medley... Then, I talked my self out of completing it and designing a card. I knew that I wanted to create with something that we have right now and maybe even something that will be retiring... Well the good news Beautiful Bouquet and the Bouquet Bunch are coming back in the new Annual Catalog. Bad News, I used the retiring In Color Powder Pink. This pink is by far one of my favorites. I stamped many flowers from the stamp set in Poppy Parade, Powder Pink and So Saffron. I accented the centers with Soft Suede. The stems are stamped with Pear Pizzazz ink and for some extra dimension I die cut it as well out of Pear Pizzazz card stock. This is nicely laid out on a Stitched Shape Oval on a Champagne Foil Scalloped Layering Oval. This is adhered over a Pear Pizzazz Corrugated embossed strip and a Powder Pink Polka Dot strip using Stampin' Dimensionals. This is nicely layered onto a Pinewood Planks Embossed piece of Whisper White that is on a mat of Powder Pink card stock and a card base of So Saffron!

Here is a bit of a closer look at my bouquet! You can also see that I have accented some of the flowers with the Clear Wink of Stella and droplets from the Clear & Frosted Epoxy Droplets. You can also see my nice little Linen Thread bow that ties on my Classis Label punched "Happy Mother's Day" sentiment from the Itty Bitty Greetings Stamp Set (Which also returns)!

My Cute Tufted embossed purse is quick and relatively easy! It is a 2" x 6" piece of card stock that I scored to fit around two Nuggets that wrapped in DSP, I decided to use the NEW Delightful Tag Topper punch, this will be available to you June 4th but it was perfect for this little project!

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I have provided a full list of products for you to see or shop with! I can't wait for you to see what Sara Levin has created for you today! You can get to her by clicking along the full link list below!
