OSAT Blog Hoppers Let It Snow

Happy Thursday! It is the second Thursday of the month and we all should know what that means... One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop!!! Did you get to me by way of Lori? I sure do love her creations!

Did you all enjoy your first full day of no political calls or commercials yesterday?? I must say that I am so glad to have all of that done and over with... I literally spent close to 13 hours in my craft room yesterday trying to get stuff done for my craft fair this weekend and of course I had to come up with a card for today!

This month, myself and all of the hoppers are creating with a "Let it Snow" theme. I went straight to the Christmas jugular! I mean how can I not when I am creating for craft fairs too! Now, lets get to the good stuff!!!

This fun card started with a base of Real Red card stock with a matte of the Candy Cane Lane DSP! I chose to use this DSP for my projects today because it is so amazingly cute! My Whisper White layer is stamped in Real Red ink with Be Jolly By Golly and it also the name of the set that it is from! I used the Scribble Thinlits to create my "snowy" hills. I actually die cut this twice out of Whisper White and then used the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the top layer! My cute little house is fussy cut from the Candy Cane Lane DSP with my Paper Snips. The Peppermint accents were created using the 1/2" Circle Punch with the DSP! They needed some sparkle so I added a few rhinestones to the centers before adhering them to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals!

You will notice above that I made a fun Nugget Favor! These were so fun and easy to make! I simply cut my DSP in 1" x 3" strips and adhered them around the nuggets. I made a quick card stock tray for them to set in while wrapped up in a 2 x 8 Cello bag!

This cute little reindeer is the Tag for the top of my nugget favor. The Cheerful Tag thinlits are so versatile... I even got to use my new Stitched Shape dies with always fun Cookie Cutter Bundle!

Here is a closer look at the card!

I am so glad you stopped by this month! This is the last one for the year... Pam Staples is next and I know that her creations will be beyond cute! See Ya Soon!!!

    OSAT May Flowers Blog Hop

Hey there!! Happy Thursday to you!!! It is the second Thursday of the month and we should all what that means by now! It is the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! If you got to by way of Alisa Tilsner her creations are always so lovely!
I have to be honest I am not sure how I pulled it all together for this hop. You see, this past Saturday we had an EF2 Tornado hit here in Wray, Colorado. Well not only did it hit in Wray it hit the property that we live on and destroyed a friends house up north! This all happened while we were in Nebraska!!! It was pretty scary not knowing what were going to come home to even though we knew that our house was okay! It has made for quite an interesting week! What was my silver lining you ask? MY Stampin' Up! 2016-2017 Catalog PRE-ORDER came!!!! So everything I have for you is NEW!!! Wooty WOOT!

So my creations this month started with the Perfectly Wrapped Project Kit! This kit is absolutely adorable. I just love the colors!!! It comes with the cute cellophane bag and the striped box shown here but it also has a tiny acetate box and a gift bag to create as well! The colors really caught my eye on this. It is the NEW Emerald Envy and Peakaboo Peach as well as Tangerine Tango, Basic Black, Mint Macaron and Whisper White with Gold Accents.

So to coordinate with the Perfectly Wrapped Kit, I started my card with a vivid base of Emerald Envy. To keep with the scheme of things I matted the Black and White striped paper from the NEW Pop of Pink DSP with the Peakaboo Peach. My Scribbles are a new Thinlit! They are called Scribbles Thinlits. I used the precision plate to cut these out. They came out of the dies with ease using our Die Brush! I created my flower using two of the dies to adhere this to the NEW Flirty Flamingo card stock I used spray adhesive then fussy cut the outer edge. I stole the leaves from my Perfectly Wrapped kit and added them to my flower. My Gold border on the left hand side was also from the scribble thinlits simply cut from our Gold Foil paper! To adhere these I used a two way glue pen. Ooops I almost for my banner!! Obviously it is new too! It is a great little bundle available in the new catalog! The stamp set is called Thoughtful Banners and coordinates with the new Duet Banner Punch. This bundle is going to be super versatile! I stamped the banner outline with Emerald Envy ink and the sentiment with our Archival Black! What card of mine wouldn't be complete with some lovely sequins that I still have from the Hello December kit!

These are the Perfectly Wrapped Projects stamped with the Perfectly Wrapper stamp set! If you look below I gave you a closer look at the beautiful flower!

Phew! Seems like a lot of work right? Honestly, half a day with all the items made!
