Stampin Friends Happy Holidays Blog Hop

Happy Thursday friends! I am so excited to be hopping today with my crafting cohorts from the Stampin Friends group on Facebook! This month the our blog hop is all about the holidays! We just can't wait to get you all in the holiday spirit!

Barbara Welch

Did you get to me by way of Barbara? If so, welcome over I can't wait to show you what I have created for you this month!

My card for the hop this month was kind of a fluke! I was trying another way of making a shaker card and well I accidentally made this super cute square card! The card is a base of Cherry Cobbler card stock with a fun matte of the Warmth & Cheer DSP. The background to my shaker also came from the Warmth & Cheer DSP stack. My shaker goodies were snagged from the retired shaker kit from last year! A simple "Ho Ho Ho" in Garden Green from the Oh What Fun stamp set seemed to fit the card. A quick Gold Baker's Twine bow and this beauty was done!

My fun Baker's box was an item I had at my craft fair last weekend! It too is made of Cherry Cobbler Card Stock with a lovely tag of Warmth & Cheer DSP made from the Here's to Cheers Bundle. I did a nice gold heat embossed sentiment onto one of the stitched circles from the Stitched Shapes set! Of course it is layered onto a scalloped Layering Circle of Gold Foil! I fastened this on with a Gold Binder Clip that had a fun Baker's Twine and Linen Thread Bow. You will notice the Ghirardelli chocolates through my Fabulous Foil Acetate window. A quick strip of washi and the Gingerbread Man to finish this off and I was done!

Thank You so much for stopping by! Don't forget our AMAZING giveaway! You must comment with #SFNovHop to be eligible!

Now onto Robyn! I can't wait for you to see what kind of cuteness she has come up with for you this month! You can get to her by clicking next!

OSAT Blog Hoppers Let It Snow

Happy Thursday! It is the second Thursday of the month and we all should know what that means... One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop!!! Did you get to me by way of Lori? I sure do love her creations!

Did you all enjoy your first full day of no political calls or commercials yesterday?? I must say that I am so glad to have all of that done and over with... I literally spent close to 13 hours in my craft room yesterday trying to get stuff done for my craft fair this weekend and of course I had to come up with a card for today!

This month, myself and all of the hoppers are creating with a "Let it Snow" theme. I went straight to the Christmas jugular! I mean how can I not when I am creating for craft fairs too! Now, lets get to the good stuff!!!

This fun card started with a base of Real Red card stock with a matte of the Candy Cane Lane DSP! I chose to use this DSP for my projects today because it is so amazingly cute! My Whisper White layer is stamped in Real Red ink with Be Jolly By Golly and it also the name of the set that it is from! I used the Scribble Thinlits to create my "snowy" hills. I actually die cut this twice out of Whisper White and then used the Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper for the top layer! My cute little house is fussy cut from the Candy Cane Lane DSP with my Paper Snips. The Peppermint accents were created using the 1/2" Circle Punch with the DSP! They needed some sparkle so I added a few rhinestones to the centers before adhering them to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals!

You will notice above that I made a fun Nugget Favor! These were so fun and easy to make! I simply cut my DSP in 1" x 3" strips and adhered them around the nuggets. I made a quick card stock tray for them to set in while wrapped up in a 2 x 8 Cello bag!

This cute little reindeer is the Tag for the top of my nugget favor. The Cheerful Tag thinlits are so versatile... I even got to use my new Stitched Shape dies with always fun Cookie Cutter Bundle!

Here is a closer look at the card!

I am so glad you stopped by this month! This is the last one for the year... Pam Staples is next and I know that her creations will be beyond cute! See Ya Soon!!!

    OSAT Birthday Bash Blog Hop

Happy Thursday!! This is the 3rd post I have done in 24 hours!! HOLY MOLY!!!! We are back again with the OSAT Blog Hop!! This month our theme is a Birthday Bash! Did you come by way of Dena Rekow? If so and welcome!

After having not one but two shaker card posts yesterday you can imagine that my goal was to NOT do a shaker card! When brainstorming for this month I could have either been really predictable or surprise myself. Well guess what... it was the latter of the two! When was the last time you have seen me A. Sponge and B. Emboss Resist?! Um Never!!!!!!!! I am going to warn you there are 4 pictures but it is because I wanted to be sure you got see all the lovely details!!!

Okay so my color combo happened by happenstance! It absolutely oozes femininity. So I had started sponging with Flirty Flamingo ink onto the Irresistibly Floral Specialty DSP! You can ink this great paper up with what ever colors you choose. As I stated before I started with the Flirty Flamingo, then moved to Peekaboo Peach. I knew I wanted to transition to a yellow or gold to finish! I chose Delightful Dijon. I wasn't sure it was a good decision but the end product was pretty fabulous! After finishing the sponging I wrapped the 3/8 inch Ruched Flirty Flamingo ribbon around the floral resist paper. I adhered this to a matte of Flirty Flamingo and set it aside. I wanted a sweet little birthday sentiment... Birthday Blooms had the sweetest little sentiment for this card! I stamped it in Flirty Flamingo ink onto Whisper White then adhered it to a Peekaboo Peach matte! My big loopy bow and pearl embellishments were just what I needed to finish this card off!
What girl does not like a purse for her birthday?! I made this great little hand bag complete with a cute little note book and Gold Glitter pen! I really didn't have any DSP to fit the purse or go with the colors. I inked up my Paisley & Posies set with Versamark and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder! I then began sponging using the Flirty Flaming and Peekaboo Peach inks! The great tag on my handbag is from the Here's To Cheers bundle available in the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog!

Here is a few more pictures of the purse!! This tag bundle really is to die for!!

Here is the great little note book that goes in the paper purse!
