Creation Station Celebrate the Season Blog Hop

Happy Creation Station Sunday! I can't believe we are already into December and I want to know if I am not the only person without a Christmas tree up yet... I started a bit of Christmas shopping, it seems easier but more expensive as the kids get older. Wesley, my 12 year old, wants "Beats"... I mean I know what they are, but is he really ready for them... So I stumbled on a Zulily Deal for them... I will be the best Mom ever! Enough about that...

This month on the Creation Station Blog Hop we are Celebrating the Season. I had a Christmas Card order of 24 cards for a local friend... Let me show you what I have made today...

My cards start with a nice winter white layer of Very Vanilla, I have stamped the Pine Boughs from the Christmas Pines stamp set in Mossy Meadow. I have accented this with a nice strip of Joyous Noel Specialty DSP, I am so sad this is no longer available. This is layered onto a nice piece of Crumb Cake Card stock and adhered to the Very Vanilla. The Stitched Oval with Mossy Meadow sentiment was added with Stampin' Dimensionals with a nice piece of the Merry Merlot/Copper reversible ribbon. I did this in two color bases Merry Merlot and Mossy Meadow.

My fun gift bag I made on my life the other day. It is a bit fancier using all the dies from the coordinating Pretty Pines Thinlits. They are nicely layered onto a 3" x 4" piece of Very Vanilla Soft Suede Buffalo Check. It was perfect for holding my card order and was a nice and easy way to decorate and dress up this kraft gift bag!

Paper Craft Crew 316 Beautiful Blizzard

Today I am back on the Paper Craft Crew Design Team with a fabulous challenge for all of you! Can you believe we are only 3 days away from December?! I know I have been MIA, but sometimes life and family needs to come first.

This challenge is to create with our NEW favorite product. When the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog was live I LOVED the Beautiful Blizzard Bundle!! So craft room confession 101, I hadn't even inked it up until yesterday!! I know that I am not alone in this scenario... So when I started brain storming my goal was to create a non traditional colored Christmas Card. Let me show you what I have created.

My card started with Thick Very Vanilla card stock. I first stamped the splotch with Mint Macaron and then Heat Embossed some Copper Stampin' Emboss snow flakes. This was die cut using the largest stitched circle and set aside. I then decided to stamp Mint Macaron snow flakes to create back ground on my card and adhered the stitched circle with Stampin' Dimensionals! The copper colored glimmer paper from the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper pack was a perfect contrast. I chose to use this with the coordinating snowflakes die and added them to the card. This was nicely matted onto a Mint Macaron matte with a Cajun Craze card base. A Nice bow of Copper trim to hold the Season's Greetings sentiment and I was done!!! I can't wait to see you all create with your favorite new products!

I have provided a full list of everything you would need below to make this card!
Happy Wednesday!

OSAT Silver Bells and Sea Shells Blog Hop

Good Morning?! Did we all survive Halloween? I barely did! The kids and I spent about 3.5 Hours out Trick or Treating and this mom is EXHAUSTED.... So if this post is a bit short you will know why...

This month with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop we are hopping with the theme Silver Bells, and Sea Shells. It really is just a Christmas Theme it is just play on words for the demonstrators who are in Australia and New Zealand where Christmas is in the summer.

Today my creations were made with the Peaceful Noel Bundle. I just this Sprig Punch that is in this bundle! It was so pretty with the Crumb Cake Burlap Background and Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper Pack. This Photopolymer stamp set is perfect with the layering dies that coordinate with the Stitched Shapes. I even made a fun little Wreath!

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I can't wait for you to see what the rest of the team has made. You can get to them by clicking along the link list below!

Creation Station Layers of Leaves Blog Hop

Happy Creation Station Sunday to you all! It seems as though Fall has fallen on the Eastern Plains of Colorado. It was a brisk yesterday watching Wesley and his team finish their football season. When we got home, we all went about our day. I went to the craft room to work on my stuff and the kids proceeded in bursting in anytime I had a crafty friend on the phone...

This month the Creation Station team has many beautiful creations with the theme "Layers of Leaves". In fact, you are probably going to see a lot of fall themes from me this week... I decided to break out a very versatile set from the annual catalog to showcase this theme. Enough talking (or typing for that matter), let me show you what I have whipped up!

I am going to be honest, the Tree Rings background stamp is something that I had to have when the Annual Catalog came out LAST year! I just haven't used it enough... The same could be said for the Colorful Seasons stamp set as well as the coordinating Seasonal Layers dies. I decided to make some watercolor wash leaves using my Aqua Painters, Crushed Curry, Cherry Cobbler and Cajun Craze ink pads and Watercolor Paper. I die cut the washed leaves with the coordinating die in the Seasonal Layers Thinlits. I also cut the copper glimmer paper from the Joyous Noel pack to adhere to them. They really turned out elegant don't you think? The Tree Rings background stamp was inked up with Crumb Cake and also stamped onto Crumb Cake for a nice lodge like feel.  The larger stitched oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits layers nicely over the leaves and Wood Texture DSP. An added touch with the Decorative Ribbon Border Punch and a nice bow made of the Merry Merlot & Copper 5/8" Ribbon and this card was done.

These cute little note cards were made to coordinate with my card! They fit so nicely in the little Wood Crate! I even stamped the envelopes!

I want to thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait for you to see what the AMAZING Julie Beltramo has created for you, you can just click the next button below to continue along on the hop!
