Happy Creation Station Sunday! I can't believe we are already into December and I want to know if I am not the only person without a Christmas tree up yet... I started a bit of Christmas shopping, it seems easier but more expensive as the kids get older. Wesley, my 12 year old, wants "Beats"... I mean I know what they are, but is he really ready for them... So I stumbled on a Zulily Deal for them... I will be the best Mom ever! Enough about that...
This month on the Creation Station Blog Hop we are Celebrating the Season. I had a Christmas Card order of 24 cards for a local friend... Let me show you what I have made today...
My cards start with a nice winter white layer of Very Vanilla, I have stamped the Pine Boughs from the Christmas Pines stamp set in Mossy Meadow. I have accented this with a nice strip of Joyous Noel Specialty DSP, I am so sad this is no longer available. This is layered onto a nice piece of Crumb Cake Card stock and adhered to the Very Vanilla. The Stitched Oval with Mossy Meadow sentiment was added with Stampin' Dimensionals with a nice piece of the Merry Merlot/Copper reversible ribbon. I did this in two color bases Merry Merlot and Mossy Meadow.
My fun gift bag I made on my life the other day. It is a bit fancier using all the dies from the coordinating Pretty Pines Thinlits. They are nicely layered onto a 3" x 4" piece of Very Vanilla Soft Suede Buffalo Check. It was perfect for holding my card order and was a nice and easy way to decorate and dress up this kraft gift bag!
