Stamp Ink Paper 91 It's My Birthday Challenge

Well, today is the day! My birthday! To be honest turning 38 wasn't any big deal. I cried when I turned 25 because I was half way to 50, so today should be a piece of cake!

So in honor of my birthday Stamp Ink Paper has a fun challenge for you! Make me (okay it doesn't have to be for me) a birthday card!
 http://wp.me/p6hi7Y-EI

I know that a lot of you are going to look at this and say "Where did she get that DSP" well, some times we have to be resourceful and creative! This is actually a Project Life card from Hello Lovely kit in the Annual Catalog! I matted onto some Pear Pizzazz card stock with a Sahara Sand Base. My cute little "Tag" was made using the Lots of Labels Framelits. I simply cut the bottom off and rounded my corners. My gold sequins are from stash I have created out of the many embellishment kits of the past! A nice Very Vanilla Doily, Metallic Gold Thread and a little bit of Lace to finish this lovely card off!

Thank you so much for stopping in! I can't wait to see ALL the birthday cards you all come up with!

#TGIF Challenges 97 Color Challenge

TGIF! Happy Friday! I can't believe that this week is already over can you? We had a fun filled night last night with Wrestling practice and a Spring play. I can't believe that I had left my phone at home so I didn't get any pictures. Epic mom fail!

Today I am designing for the TGIF Challenges! It is my second week on the team and I can't tell you how crazy fabulous it is to be surrounded (even if it is virtually) so much talent! We are using the fun spring like colors Calypso Coral, So Saffron and Bermuda Bay. What better DSP to use than the Cupcakes & Carousels?

My super fun card started with a base of Calypso Coral with a cockeyed matte of Bermuda Bay with the diamond pattern from the Cupcakes and Carousels stack and accented it with a nice bow with the Thick Bakers Twine in Calypso Coral. I used the fun Super Duper stamp set to create the sentiment with Bermuda Bay and So Saffron Ink to layer onto my stitched circle of coordinating DSP with some sparkly Metallic Gold Thread. This layered up perfectly on my nice Very Vanilla doily. A few added sequins from the Hello Lovely Project Life accessory kit and I was finished...

Phew! So glad you stopped in! I can't wait to see what you create with this fun and cheery color combo!

Stamp Ink Paper 73 Grateful Theme Challenge

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! I am so excited that it is truly starting to feel like fall here! I even got to wear a scarf and my favorite sweater vest yesterday! I am completely swamped with craft fairs and upcoming classes I am not even sure which way is up!

This week with Stamp Ink Paper we are creating with a Grateful Theme and I can't wait for you to see what I came up with... but here is what is crazy, The Paper Players have a "Thankfulness" Challenge so I am going to be submitting my card to them too!

Voila! I am so grateful for my friends near and far and couldn't think of a better card to show my gratitude!
The card started with Stampin' Up! Project Life set Hello Lovely. I used a circle die from the Layering Circles to die cut the center of the "wreath". After attaching my Window Sheet and get my Foam Adhesive Strips all set in place I added my sequins from Hello Lovely Accessory Pack. You will notice I added some extra gold and some seed beads to give it more guts. Once I had my shaker bits in place I added a patterned piece from Hello Lovely. Now that I had this all ready I decided that the wood like DSP from Serene Scenery was perfect for this card. I again used the Foam Adhesive Strips so that the card front popped off my card base of Tip Top Taupe card stock. I wasn't quite done... every card needs a sentiment! My Bunch of Blossoms set was still on my desk from the other day and I found this fabulous sentiment and how cute is it on Stampin' Ups new Stitched Shape Framelits!!! FINALLY! I have been waiting for 2 years for us to carry stitched dies! These little lovelies go perfectly with the layering dies and that is just what I did. I added my sentiment to a lovely gold scallop circle from the Layering Circles collection and it went perfect with a nice Linen Thread bow!

Thank You so much for stopping by! You can find a full product list below... Now go on!! Let me see your Grateful Cards!

I have entered into this challenge too!

Stamp Ink Paper 70 Tic Tac Toe Challenge!

Hey Guys! It is Tuesday and I am designing for the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge!
We are on challenge #70 so Lisa and Sandy cooked up a really cute Tic Tac Toe I know you are going to love!

I have to admit I was a bit of an overachiever for this challenge! I really am out of FALL ideas! But I had everything cut and ready to go (even showed some of you!). So on my Tic Tac Toe I went straight across the top! Leaves, Green and Patterned Paper!

This tray is from a Stampin' Up! kit of long ago and I actually have two! I knew as soon as I opened the Hello Lovely Project Life set exactly what I was going to do!

Creative way to make a Tic Tac Toe right?
I can't wait to see how creative you get for this challenge!
