OSAT Down at The Farm Blog Hop

Happy Thursday! Two days of blog posts in a row, who knew?! Spent a couple hours at the pool yesterday with another demonstrator friend before coming home to let the cable guy fix our play room cable... a day early! Who does that?! Aren't the cable guys usually late? I am not being ungrateful, but he texted me at noon asking if he could come in the afternoon. I have had plans for a month to go to the pool yesterday with Janet!! So I told him he could come at 4 pm! Troy came home, we did some grilling and chilling and I fell asleep in the recliner... again.
This month with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop our theme is Down On The Farm. We try to leave it up for interpretation. You may see farm animals, gingham, and of course a farmhouse chic style. I chose to go with the farmhouse chic direction with Country Home and a little bit of Daisy Lane! Lets take a look...

My card started with the piece of DSP. This great piece of DSP is from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper!!! I know, I know, I am using the HECK out of this paper. It is that versatile!! With the wood, burlap and flowers in this paper pack, not to mention 24 sheets it is an amazing paper to have in your stash! I used Basic Gray ink to stamp my cream can onto the new Fluid 100 watercolor paper and used the Basic Gray Water Color Pencil to assist in watercoloring it. This is nicely layered over a strip of wood patterned DSP also from the Pressed Petals pack and a piece of lace that I have "ruffled" using some tear n tape! A few Pear Pizzazz springs and a Rococo Rose Daisy from Daisy Lane and this part of my card was done. I chose the "Simply Thankful For All The Good Things" sentiment from the Country Home stamp set. It is heat embossed using the Stampin' Emboss White and has a nice pop to it! This is nicely matted onto a piece of Rococo Rose, with a small accent on the top right corner and a Sahara Sand Card Base.

I chose to do the pillow box because it was easy and they are darling! I have wrapped a piece of the Pear Pizzazz that has been embossed with the Corrugated embossing folder, a cute little border piece of DSP and some more lace! My box is empty so I can do as I please!!

Thank You so much for stopping in today for the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! I can't wait for you to see what the rest of my friends have come up with for you! You will find the full link list below! Happy Thursday!

TGIF Challenges 215 A Modern Heart

I would normally say Happy Friday, but this week has been a doozy! Troy both got news about family members passing away around the same time. One of them being my dads brother Uncle Bob. Many of you know that I like to shop at Cheeky's. Well when you shop there, you end up in a group with other women who are just addicted to the brand! I have created a few friendships, but lost one on Wednesday. My friend Julie passed away... So this week can go to the wayside! On a lighter note, I get to go see Garth Brooks tomorrow... and well, Garth can make anything better!

Today TGIF Challenges has a fun and summery color challenge! I took full advantage of my Annual Catalog order coming yesterday and inked a BRAND NEW stamp set called Modern Heart! Let me show you what I have come up with!

I can't lie! I was SUPER excited about this stamp set! It is a fun abstract set that I am sure will get over looked by many! It really wasn't my week to participate but once I looked at the colors I knew exactly what I was going to do. First, I stamped the Pool Party wash type stamp on the background, I actually stamped it off first to acquire the look I was going for. I then stamped the heart in Night of Navy. This is accented with a few Granny Apple Green hearts. It still needed SOMETHING! So I decided to die cut with the Rectangle Stitched Dies and water down some Liquid Multipurpose and add some Stampin' Emboss Silver splatters. I have added a picture below so that you can see the splatters

Next I added some Night of Navy using the wash type stamp and heat embossed the sentiment on the bottom right hand corner. A bit of Whisper White Bakers Twine and Woven Thread Sequin Assortment and this card was complete with the mat of Granny Apple Green and card base of Pool Party!

I can't wait to see what you all create using this color combo! I have provided a full product list below!

Here is the host code! You will need when your order is below $150!

TGIF Challenges 212 Paper Flowers Challenge

TGIF!!!!! I really mean it! Summer showed its face this week with temps in the 90's and a few rumbles of afternoon Thunderstorms! I am a huge storm cloud junkie... I am often outside as storms are rolling in to get pictures, it is the safest idea but the clouds are amazing! Last night while watching the 10 PM news and weather they even shared one of my photos... That makes me famous, right?! It really wasn't the first time though and with severe season on top of us... it probably is not the last.

This week our TGIF Challenge is Paper Flowers!  If you are needing some inspiration our design team has put together some amazing samples and you can get to them by clicking below, but first let me show you what I have made!

I must say that the upcoming NEW Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog is ABSOLUTELY one of the best catalogs I have seen in a long time. I am sure that at this point you have seen the Magnolia Lane Suite, It will be my focus for my August class! I just can't get enough of the earthy colors and soft pinks! It is my favorite! Well at least, for now! I went a bit picture happy with my creation and let me give you a quick disclaimer... I will be live on my Facebook business page with this tote tutorial on Wednesday!

This is great purse like Box is made of two sheets of 12 x 12 DSP. Who would have though?! I have accented this great tote with Petal Pink Card stock with a coordinating stripe that is in the Magnolia Lane DSP.  The handle of Crumb Cake card stock and small print magnolias coordinates with my Detailed Tag Topper purse closure. I created the beautiful Magnolia Memory Dies and the Balloon Bouquet Punch. I sponged Petal Pink on the edges and used my bone folder to give the petals some shape. I again accented the flower with the Petal Pink Striped Organdy Ribbon and Champagne Foil Leaves!

I can't wait to see how you play along with our Paper Flowers Challenge!
I have provided a full list of products below that I used to create this amazing bag!
Have a fabulous weekend!!!

Paper Craft Crew 336 Sketch Challenge

Happy Wednesday! It has been pretty wet and dreary the last couple days. The lends towards crafting all day with my Lularoe on and a cup of coffee in my hand! The kids school year is winding down and with that comes end of the year field trips and even last minute ones!

The Paper Craft Crew is live today with a sketch (We love out sketches). This is a sketch that I feel can be fairly easy for a beginner stamper to accomplish... But today I took this sketch to an avid stamper level!

My preorder arrived on Monday... In my head I really should be showing you all the retiring product that you will want to swoop in to get before it is gone... but I couldn't wait to ink up the "It Starts With Art" bundle and give you an amazing sneak peek!

My card started with all of my colored pieces... A bit backwards but that is how it started! I stamped all of my images from the It's All About Art with the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Smoky Slate, Pool Party, Mango Melody and Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends Combo Packs. The coordinating dies for this set are AMAZING!!! I die cut the Pen, Marker, Pencil and Spools of Ribbon! Adorable right?! This die set also has the amazing edge cutting die that looks like stitched ribbon that you see here in Calypso Coral. The coordinating DSP is a MUST have if you like to send cards to all of your crafty friends! I chose the to stamp the sentiment in Coastal Cabana ink and used the smallest circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits to cut it out. My elements are all adhered onto a Coastal Cabana Button Button embossed Stitched Circle. A few stamped sequins and a couple Iridescent ones and this cutie was done!

I can't wait for you to participate in this weeks challenge!

I have provided a full list below so you can make your wish list for when the Annual Catalog goes live on JUNE 4th!
