TGIF 105 Party We are 2

FRIDAY!!!!!! The last Friday of April and they are forecasting Snow? We had thunderstorms most of the evening with tornado warnings south of here. Colorado, if you don't like the weather wait until tomorrow.

I can't explain how happy I am to be part of this design team. I can't believe we are turning two! To celebrate we are having a "Party Challenge" of sorts and we can't wait to see what you come up with!

Let me show you what I have come up with!!

I knew for this challenge that I didn't want to make a standard A2 type card. So I busted out my Envelope Punch Board to make this fun little Pocket/Gift Card Holder. Peakaboo Peach, Watermelon Wonder with accents of Pool Party seem to be just the right touch with the Tasty Treats DSP! You will notice that I have also used the fun Label Me Pretty bundle and a fun little shaker element. My fun Party Time sentiment is from the new Happy Birthday Gorgeous set available on June 1st!

Thank You so much for stopping by to celebrate! I can't wait to see what you create for this challenge!

Stampin Friends Birthday Blog Hop

Happy Thursday friends we are almost there!!! I can almost see the weekend on my tippy toes! I had a glorious evening arguing with my 9 year old arguing about homework and his lack of privileges to play on the XBox... I am standing my ground! It just may end up unplugged and hidden today!

It is the third Thursday of April which means it is time for Stampin Friends Blog Hop! If you got to me by way of Twila Davis, her creations are always amazing!!!

This month we are hopping with a Birthday or Celebration Theme! It was perfect timing because my creation below was made for my display at OnStage! So I really needed to whip up was my cute little Hershey Nugget purse. What girl doesn't want a purse filled with chocolate!?

My Card base is Melon Mambo with an amazing matte of Lemon Lime Twist. My adorable little tag is made using one of the new washi packs from the Annual Catalog as well as the Pop of Pink washi! The Stitched Square in Lemon Lime twist was perfect for the Daffodil Delight Candles, I also used the stitched squares on this to add a little more detail. The Dazzling Diamond Glimmer paper was perfect underneath. My sentiment comes from the Cool Treats stamp set and was stamped using Melon Mambo Ink. A few sequins and some more Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon!

I made this cute little purse using the Scallop Tag Topper, 2 Hershey Nuggets a very small piece of DSP and Glimmer Enamel dot. I made the handle using Daffodil Delight cardstock. The Nuggets are wrapped in Lemon Lime Twist DSP! I gave you a bit of a closer look below!

Thank You so much for touring the hop! I am so glad that you stopped by! Next on the hop is the ever creative Barbara Welch!

My Birthday Bash Step Up

As promised, I am coming to you today with a great "Step it Up" idea! Last week I was running out of time for the OSAT Blog Hop and needed to come up with some thing cute and fast. So I busted out my Gift Card Envelope die and cut out this coordinating "treat holder" below. You can see the orignal post but clicking the photo below! Let me show you how I stepped it up first!

I untied the ribbon that I used to wrap around it and simply punched a hole into a 1/2" and 3/4" Circle Punches and looped the ribbon in! I added some Whisper White Bakers Twine in a cute little bow around the ribbon. I made a nice belly band using the coordinating DSP from Tasty Treats. A nice stitched circle stamped with Playful Backgrounds and the Cool Treats was layered onto a Dazzling Diamond Scallop Circle from the Layering Circles die set. Some cute little banners and a little bit of washi was just the right touch!

Adorable right? Thank you so much for stopping by to see how I stepped up my quick and easy project from Thursday!

Stamp Ink Paper 86 Color Challenge

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! I know it is Valentines day so as Super Mom I will be attending the kids elementary school activities this afternoon! Unlike the past few years I didn't do ANY hand made Valentine Trinkets for ANYONE! I just didn't have the time!

This week with Stamp Ink Paper we have fun Spring like color challenge for you all to play along with to get you out of that "Valentine" mood! I Chose to use So Saffron, Peekaboo Peach and Bermuda Bay with the Cool Treats Bundle! A total no-brainer right?

My card started with a base of Peekaboo Peach with a matte of So Saffron. I knew that the Ice Cream from the Cool Treats set was going to be just what I want. It is stamped with So Saffron Ink and the swirls in Peekaboo Peach with some Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder Heat set on there to look like real Ice Cream! My Yummy little cone was made with Sahara Sand I had handy as scrap. I actually used Clear Wink of Stella but I am not sure you can see it in the picture! I had adhered the cone with a couple Mini Glue Dots onto a Stitched Circle of DSP. I used the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP for this fun little project so I was able to sneak some of the amazing Bermuda Bay Glimmer paper onto my card! This won't be available until February 21st and is FREE when you purchase $50 or more in Stampin' Up! product! A nice doily and some gold metallic thread was just the right touch. My nice little twine bow came from the Cupcakes & Carousels embellishment kit and of course my "Yum" sentiment... this actually came out of the Bakers Box die set!

Thank You so much for stopping by! I can't wait to see what you come up with for this challenge!!!

So I was a bit of an overachiever with my card today! I made 3 Tic-Tac-Toes... I can make 3 in a row from the top left going diagonal Blue, Circular Element and Ribbon, Diagonal from the top right Sequins, Circular Element and Die Cut, OR I can go straight across the bottom Die Cut, Yellow and Ribbon! I even took it a step further and made it a fun shaker card!
My card is matted with Peekaboo Peach with a bright base of Bermuda Bay to coordinate with the Cupcakes & Carousels DSP Stack. My Very Vanilla layer is stamped with the Ferris Wheel from the Carousel Birthday set in Early Espresso ink. I used a Layering Circle to cut out the center for my "shaker" area. My Die Cut Cupcakes are in Calypso Coral, Bermuda Bay, So Saffron and Peekaboo Peach with the tops popped up with Stampin' Dimensionals! My Sequin mix in the shaker is a mix of the Cupcakes & Carousels embellishment kit and the Hello Lovely accessories pack with a few little vanilla colored seed beads! My nice little bow was also created from the Cupcakes & Carousels embellishment kit and was just the right touch with Bermuda Bay sentiment from the Cool Treats stamp set!

Thank You so much for stopping by! I can't wait to see how you make your three in a row!

Stamp Ink Paper Challenge 77 A Sweet Sketch!

Happy Tuesday!!! Guess what?! I recieved my new goodies for the up and coming Spring Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up! I know, I know, I should be making Christmas cards but sometimes you have to make what is tripping your trigger... and when I opened my box on Saturday, my trigger was officially tripped!

The sketch this week for the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge really helped with my tripped trigger! So here is a sneak peak at a bundle in the new catalog!

Confession time... I was NOT excited about the new catalog! Then when I started adding what I wanted to my cart not all of it was cohesive. Revamped my order and somehow this bundle made it into my cart and I wouldn't change it for the world! It was so fun to play with. Let me get you the details of this super fun card...

The Designer Series Paper that coordinates with this set is called Tasty Treats. It is a Specialty DSP with some really fun patterns and fun colors such as Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach and Pool Party to just name a few. My card base is in Peekaboo Peach with matte of the Pool Party DSP from the Tasty Treats pack. My Watermelon Wonder card stock layer was embossed using the Polka Dot embossing folder from the Annual Catalog. I then did about a 1" strip on the left with another piece of the DSP from the Tasty Treats paper, aren't the sprinkles the cutest? A nice Peekaboo Peach Bow was the perfect little something! My circle was created using the Stitched Shape Framelits! My amazing sundae including spoon was created using the Cool Treats bundle! I even did a glittered topping using our Dazzling Diamond glitter. The fabulous little bowl was created with a bowl die from the bundle out of DSP. I put it on two layers of Crumb Cake, rubbed the edges with Chocolate Chip and heat embossed it in clear!

Does this not make you excited about the new catty??? If you need one let me know!
I can't wait to see what you come up with for this challenge!
