Stamp Ink Paper 206 - Thankful

Happy Tuesday! It is so nice to be back home! I spent the weekend at Stampin' Up! OnStage with most of my amazing friends. It is funny how just a couple of days laughing, stamping and just being goofy can rejuvenate your soul. How fitting for the challenge today be about being Thankful... because I am so thankful for my circle of friends this weekend and obviously Troy for keeping the kids alive.
This next TWO week Stamp Ink Paper challenge is themed "Thankful", I had to pull a card from the stash in order to participate and keep the boss happy! I have to say that this is one of my favorites this fall. I have to thank Cindy Schuster from Stampin' Up! Concept Art Department for telling me about the Aqua painter and Shimmer White Card Stock technique. Let me show you what I have created.

This amazing fall themed card has a rich base of Cajun Craze with a mat of Mint Macaron. I have stamped the large leaf from the Gather Together Bundle on Shimmer White card stock with Pear Pizzazz ink. I had my Aqua Painter in ready to move the ink around as soon as I stamped it. A nice strip of the gingham pattern from the Come To Gather DSP was great way to incorporate more colors. This is accented with a Corrugated embossed Pear Pizzazz strip and a double bow of the Cajun Craze thread from the Come To Gather Ribbon Combo Pack. I have used the die that embosses the leaves on Mint Macaron, Pretty Peacock and Cajun Craze. These leaves come out amazing when you just give them a little spritz of water. A few Gold Metallic Pearls on the sentiment stamped circle from the Stitched Shapes dies and this beauty was done.

I am so glad that you stopped in today to see what I have created for this Thankful challenge! I can't wait to see what you create!

Stamp Ink Paper 203 Halloween

Happy Tuesday! Stamp Ink Paper is back with a fun Halloween challenge! When creating for this challenge I realized that ALL of my posts will be of the Halloween nature! It is a holiday that I feel is geared towards kids and I try not go all out by featuring ALL we have to offer Halloween!

Today I am featuring the Harvest Hellos with the Tags, Tags, Tags Bundle! This great card was created using the Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Blends combo pack. I decided to use my snips to make it a bit more 3D like with Stampin' Dimensionals (I have a better picture for you below). Some adorable Shimmery Embossing Paste polka dots were the perfect background for this. My fun strip was created with Basic Gray ink and the Jack-O-Lantern face. It is matted with a bit of Granny Apple Green! My sentiment is from the Tags, Tags, Tags and was perfect for this fun little card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to see what you create for this fun challenge!

Stamp Ink Paper 202 We are Back!

Tuesday!!! This is sure to be the Mondayest Tuesday ever with the kids not having school yesterday! Wesley had a football game last night and we didn't get home until almost 7... Needless to say, no rest for the wicked.

Stamp Ink Paper has been on a bit of sabbatical the last few months but we are back and better than ever!

We are designing today with a Designer's Choice! What better way to get you all excited about this amazing card making challenge. I decided to reach into my stash and blog a card I had made when I decided to swap with our new annual catalog goodies. Lets take a look!

My card base is the lovely Rococo Rose with a mat of Terracotta Tile. I have die cut a piece of the Woven Threads Designer Series Paper with the Rectangle Stitched Dies and adhered it to a piece of Sahara Sand with a coordinating piece of Designer Series Paper. This has a beautiful trim of Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon with a small stamped strip of Sahara Sand that I tore the edge on to give it a bit of texture. The sentiment that is also from the Woven Heirlooms stamp set is stamped in Terracotta Tile ink and is accented with the 2019-2021 In Color Faceted Dots.

Now it is your turn! Get your favorite Stamps, Inks and Papers and create a card for this weeks challenge! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Stamp Ink Paper 195 A Walk With Nature Challenge

Hello and Happy Tuesday! I am back in full swing after attending Stampin' Up! OnStage Local in Salt Lake City! It was so much fun just seeing my friends and having a few days to just
unwind. The last few months had been so crazy with Joshua's appointments, Dance/Gymnastics, Track and just the daily hustle, throw some Bomb Cyclones in there too! I am sure that you get the picture...

Today I am designing with the Stamp Ink Paper Design Team. We are designing with the theme "A Walk With Nature" and what could be more natural than Wood, Flowers and Butterflies?! Let me show you my card.

I can't tell you how many times and ways I started this card. I really hadn't used the Butterfly Gala Bundle and with the Petal Promenade DSP retiring I thought that it would be the perfect partner for this walk with nature. My butterflies are stamped with Sahara Sand and Powder Pink with bodies of Soft Suede. My little wood slice is adhered to my card using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. The butterflies used Mini Glue Dots. I accented the card Frosted Epoxy Droplets.

I am so glad that you joined me on this walk with nature!
I can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Stamp Ink Paper 182 Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Happy Tuesday! Are you all back in the swing of things?? This is the first day in 3 weeks where I have had NO KIDS at home... It is so quiet! I plan on being productive today. After a phone call yesterday I learned I had a short amount of time to whip up a card for the Stamp Ink Paper challenge!

This weeks challenge is a fun Tic Tac Toe Challenge! My card actually came together in a matter of 30 minutes, we all know that is record in my studio!! I have combined the Well Said Bundle with the Happiness Blooms DSP! My three in a row starts on the bottom left with Foil-Stitched Dies-Coral! Let me show you what I have created!

This fabulous card starts with a base of Night of Navy Cardstock, with a nice mat of Pool Party Cardstock. I have made a fun stitched frame with the Rectangle Stitched Dies in Calypso Coral Cardstock. I had really been on the fence with the Happiness Blooms DSP, but after seeing a few creations with it I was sold. This too is cut with the Rectangles Stitched Framelits and layered a bit cockeyed. I wrapped the Whisper White Baker's Twine around the card front and tied a nice bow before adhereing it to my card base. A nice stitched circle was perfect for incorporating the Well Said Bundle! I have stamped the "For Everything" in Night of Navy and added a few Pool Party freckles from the Bloom By Bloom stamp set. A nice Gold Foil "Thanks" die cut was perfect for this and completed my three in a row! The stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelits is accented with a Grapefruit Grove Colored Doily.

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to see how you make your Three in a row!

Stamp Ink Paper 181 Black White and Pop of Color

Happy Tuesday!!! I know, I know... I need to simmer down! Just kidding, but to be back with the Stamp Ink Paper Design Team and in complete full swing feels amazing!! Did you have a good weekend? I actually got a call yesterday while creating this card from Children's Hospital Neurology department, they had a cancellation and now Joshua gets to go in on Friday! That is a far cry from February 27th. I am excited, nervous and scared all at the same time... but we are another step closer to getting answers.

No joke, this is usually one of my favorite kinds of challenges but I found myself stumped a bit. I knew I wanted to use something from the Occasions Catalog. The Be Mine Stitched Framelit dies that are part of the Meant To Be Bundle are AMAZING! You are right, I just said that hearts are amazing! If you have been following me for some time now, you would know that I have a total dislike for hearts! Sometimes things can change! Let me show you have I have whipped up today!

This card started with a base of Basic Black Card Stock. I have matted my Melon Mambo a bit crooked on purpose. The Botanical Butterfly was perfect for this challenge because of the black and white patterns mixed into this pack. I chose the stripes because they are so versatile. The Melon Mambo heart cluster was die cut a few times and adhered together to give it a bit more dimension. I adhered this over a Silver Foil heart before adding my Melon Mambo splattered heart with Black Heat Embossed sentiment. I have also added the Black and Silver ribbon also from the Occasions catalog. The Heart Epoxy Droplets were the perfect added touch, especially after coloring them with my Lovely Lipstick Blends and Silver Sharpie! I have provided you a closer view of the heart below so you can see the splatters!

I am so glad I am back in the swing of things! I can't wait to see what you all create with this weeks challenge!
