Paper Craft Crew 272 Wine and Lace Sketch

Happy Wednesday! I am back with the Paper Craft Crew today with a fun little sketch! Are you over Christmas cards yet? Well, I am getting that way and I am sure many of you are too! I mean, I am not even sure I want to put all my decorations out this year! It isn't because I am Scrooge or Bah Humbug, I am just not feeling it this year.

Enough of that!!! Lets get to the fun stuff! Paper Craft Crew has a fun sketch for us all to play along with! You can get all the details by clicking the graphic below.

While attending OnStage in November, a stamp set called Southern Serenade was presented to us. This stamp set should not be passed up in the 2018 Occasions Catalog!! One of the ways it was used for us to see was taking the lovely lace stamp in this set and stamping it onto the Wood Textures DSP. I squealed like a little girl because it was right up alley! It will be available to you January 3rd! Now let me get you the details of my card...

I have given two different views of the same card so that you can see all the details. You will notice the lace stamp I referred to above stamped using Crumb Cake ink on the white wash piece of Wood Textures DSP. This is absolutely drool worthy for me and you are going to sick of me doing this! I then used the stamp set Half Full for the rest of the details on my card. I heat embossed the tag with sentiment with Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder and colored the grapes using our Blender Pens with Lemon Lime Twist and Sweet Sugar Plum inks. The Scallop Tag Topper Punch is the perfect fit to create this tag. The lace trim and Linen Thread was perfect for the tag. To follow along with the sketch I added a nice Champagne Foil strip embossed with the soon to be released Scattered Sequins Embossing Folder. Since I used the Sweet Sugar Plum for the grapes, I decided to use it for the banner and chose to also heat emboss it with Copper Stampin' Emboss powder with the border like stamp also from Half Full. The larger wine glass was the last feature on the sketch that I needed to add. I simply stamped this using Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla and again used my Blender pen to color in the "wine" with Sweet Sugar Plum. To give it some sparkle I used the Clear Wink of Stella!

I am so excited about this card and I hope you are too! I can't wait to see what you come up with for this weeks challenge!

Stamp Ink Paper Red Green Gold Challenge

Happy Tuesday! I am back in full swing with Stamp Ink Paper today with a really traditional color challenge that will go with your Ho Ho Ho Spirit! The kids have about an week and half of school until Christmas Break. We enjoyed some fun festivities over the weekend to get us in the mood. While I had a small card class at Lala's Bakery, the kids enjoyed Paint Your Own Pottery, and Taryn went to go see Santa! After the class was over we ran home to get our favorite Christmas jammies on to decorate Gingerbread Houses at a friends. If that doesn't get you in the holiday spirit I am not sure what will.

Let me show you our challenge!

This was designed for my class this past Saturday, I had two made because even Taryn made cards this weekend and this was the one I helped her with (notice the bottom of the stitched oval?). She keeps telling me that she is going to be Artisan and I just need to move out of the way when I am working in the craft room. The girl has big dreams for a 7 year old daughter of a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator! Let me get you the details of my card...

So, it is no secret I love to make these treat bags into these amazing gift card holders. If you score 3" from the bottom fold them up and add a little Tear N Tape to each side the possibilities are endless! I have used 2" x 12" strip of Be Merry DSP to make the nice little belly band around the Gold Striped Treat bag. I made about four loops of Linen Thread for the nice loopy bow. The Metallic Snowflake Doily was the perfect touch under my ovals. The stitched oval was stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink and the sentiment is from the Oh What Fun stamp set. It is nicely layered onto a Garden Green Layering Oval. The Gold Glimmer Paper Circle Tab Punch was perfect for the card insert. The Whisper White is nicely matted onto Cherry Cobbler card stock. The sentiment is stamped in Garden Green.

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to see what you whip up with this weeks challenge.

If you like what you see and want to whip some up on your own I have provided and full product list to help you shop!

TGIF Challenges ! An Elfie Sketch

TGIF!!! I can't believe it is already Friday! Holiday festivities are in full swing and it seems as though we have something every weekend leading into Christmas. Tomorrow I have a fun Christmas Card class at Lala's Bakery and Espresso Bar and then we are off to build gingerbread houses at our friends in our Christmas Pajamas!

TGIF Challenges has fun sketch for you to play along with this week, Although the sketch itself is a square card, some of us went a little rogue!

I just can't get enough of this Elfie! Sadly the Festive Phrases stamp set will retire at the end of the month! I colored up this cutie again with the Stampin' Blends markers. The largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits was perfectly layered onto a Red Glimmer Paper Scalloped Oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits. The Cherry Cobbler and White stripe from the Christmas Around the World DSP was a simple way to interpret the stripes of the sketch! I tied a nice little bow with the ribbon and accented with some Glitter Enamel dots. My Pool Party matter onto my Old Olive card base was just the right touch!

Paper Craft Crew 271 Sketch Challenge

It is Wednesday and I am back in full swing with the Paper Craft Crew! I have been kind of MIA lately with woes of life, sick kiddo's and of course OnStage but I am back.

Have you gotten your Christmas shopping done yet?? Mine is nearly done!! I am not bragging but I am pretty excited for myself and my wallet!! I can't wait to see the looks on my kids faces!!!

Paper Craft Crew has fun sketch for you this week and I of course didn't quite do it like the sketch...

So my unconventional Christmas card started with the Shimmer White card stock embossed using the Softly Falling embossing folder. I adhered a nice Copper Foil snowflake from the Seasonal Layers Thinlits to the top left. I wasn't quite sure what or where I would put the sentiment. So I heat embossed the sentiment from Hearts Come Home using the Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder onto a small piece of the Christmas Around the World DSP and turned it into a little banner. I used some Linen Thread to tie the elegant banner onto the card. Once this was done I used the Foil Snowflakes in silver and adhered it between the layers. My Year of Cheer DSP is paired up with Smoky Slate for my nice matte onto a Pool Party Card Base!

Thank You so much for stopping in today! I can't wait to see what you come up with for this weeks challenge!

Creation Station Metallics Gone Wild Blog Hop

Welcome back to another amazing Creation Station Design Team Hop! We are all back in full swing with this fabulous Metallics Gone Wild hop!

I love me some Glimmer Paper and even our foils! There is something about sparkly shiny things that just trip my trigger! They Merry Little Christmas DSP is still my very favorite and is soooooo universal that I even used it for Halloween stuff.

This lovely card started with Merry Little Christmas DSP. I used the Card Front Builder Dies from the Carols of Christmas Bundle to create the sky scene as well as my lovely grouping of pine trees. When I did this I actually cut them all OUT of the DSP and saved the pieces of DSP that were now cut for something later... I then adhered this to a piece of the Gold Glimmer paper. That is why you will see that the sky scene also come some sparkle. This was layered onto our Thick Whisper White Cardstock. For the sentiment I used and easy button so to speak. I used a couple of the stickers from the Memories and More Merry Little Christmas card pack. The card still needed a punch of something, the Old Olive Christmas tree adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals then added a few of the Metallic Mix sequins to finish it off!

My fun little tag set above was designed for a tag class that one of my customers held at her house. We had so much fun and by the end of the night the ladies were starting to edit and do they're interpretation of the designs provided, the focus was the Merry Little Label Bundle and the Labels To Love! I am so glad that these sets will stick around a little longer as well as the punch! Each little tag and a bit of "metal" to it The top left has a Gold Glimmer Paper base, the top right has Gold Glimmer Paper banners and last but not least the bottom has a Lovely Silver Foil Snow Flake.

Thank You so much for stopping by today! Now, I am going to go decorate for Christmas! I hope you have a lovely Sunday, Next on this hop is the fabulous Mikaela Tithridge and you can get to her by clicking the next button below!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Back in Plaid Blog Hop

Good Thursday morning! A Paper Pumpkin Thing is back with this months AMAZING kit! Our team really had a hard time with alternatives this month, the stockings are too adorable to even mess up! So I am going to guess without even looking that there is going to be a LOT of cards!

Did you get to me by way of Dena Rekow? She is a total rock star! You know, come to think of it, I met everyone on this hop who was at OnStage. What an amazing opportunity!

So here is my alternative for this month, to show you how this month coordinated with last months kit I have take one of the card bases from last months kit and made a cute little tag base with our Scalloped Tag Topper. I then took some of the gold washi from the Year of Cheer Washi tape pack and gave a fine gold border at the top. The leaves are part of your kit this month, as well as the tags and sentiment that I stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink. The leaves come in Old Olive in the kit, I got smart and decided to ink them up with Versamark and use Gold Stampin' Emboss powder and heat emboss them! Genius right!? I adhered them to back of the layered tag with some glue dots and then adhered this layter with Stampin' Dimensionals! A tag isn't complete with out a little ribbon! So I used the Black Shimmer ribbon to complete this look!

I am so glad you stopped by today! Make sure you take tour of the whole hop for some added inspiration!

Next on the hop you will find the always talented Sara Levin and you can get to her by clicking next!
