Stamp Ink Paper 154 Sketch Challenge

Happy Tuesday! Stamp Ink Paper Challenges is back this week with a fun sketch! Have you gotten your order from the Annual Catalog yet??  If you haven't, what are you waiting for??

The kids and I enjoyed a couple hours at night swim last night! Had a bit of a family emergency so Troy is in Colorado Springs for the rest of the week. So we had a healthy meal of Chef Boyardee and watched Bruce Almighty (edited for TV Version) and all passed out in the living room!

This sketch is going to super fun for you guys to play with! I actually took off in many directions when designing todays card. Sometimes less is more and I really wanted to showcase the Tufted Dynamic Embossing Folder.

I have created this card with a Petal Pink card stock base and Crumb Cake Matte. I then took another piece of Petal Pink and embossed it with the NEW Tufted Dynamic Impressions Embossing Folder. When you run this through your Big Shot make sure you give it a good mist of water to get the best impression! Then, I stamped the beautiful flower stamp from the Very Vintage stamp set onto a Thick Very Vanilla Doily like Die cut from the Spot of Tea Framelits. My Champagne Foil mattes up a nice piece of DSP from the Petal Promenade pack. A nice little double bow made from the Tea Room Ribbon Combo Pack with the Darling Label Punched sentiment also from the Very Vintage Stamp set and this card was done!

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to see how you interpret this sketch!

Remarkably Created All Thats New Blog Hop

Happy Sunday evening! Did you all survive the weekend without melting? We just got home from the pool and it honestly wasn't nearly as crowded as I would have thought. It was nice treat for the kids after I had spent all morning cleaning my stamp room!

I am hopping tonight with the Remarkably Creative Blog Tour and we have created with All That's New! It isn't very often that I can open up the Annual Catalog and know (other than preorder) EXACTLY what my first order is going to include. This catalog really caters to many of my whims, especially the cowgirl in me!

So I have been chomping at the bit for the Follow Your Dreams Bundle! This great bundle has amazing dies to that can make beautiful dream catchers with flowers, feathers and beautifully detailed centers. What better than to pair this with the Gallery Grunge? Let me show you my card!

Gray Granite is amazing and if you were a lover of Tip Top Taupe to me this is just a lighter version of it. I have paired it up with Mint Macaron. My Thick Whisper White cardstock is stamped using Gray Granite ink with the Chevron like wood pattern in the Gallery Grunge stamp set. My dream catcher is also stamped in this ink as well as having the detailed thinlit die cut from Gray Granite. I have accented my dream catcher with Mint Macaron and Blushing Bride inked feathers as well as having the larger feathers in Mint Macaron, Blushing Bride and Gray Granite. I added a few Share What You Love Artisan Pearls as a soft accent. My Dream die cut is from this bundle as well! I used  three of the die cuts and adhered them with Liquid Multipurpose Glue. Once this was done, I inked them up with Versamark and used the Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder. If you do this twice it gives a great faux metal like look! I can't wait to play with this set more!

Thank You so Much for Stopping By! Make sure you tour the whole hop, as we were all creating with new goodies! Have a good evening

A GIVEAWAY to take Paper Pumpkin Broadway Bound

Saturday in the craft room!!! If you caught my Facebook live yesterday, I received my first BIG Annual Catalog Order. I showed off all the fun new things that I chose to order including the Broadway Bound Suite!!! Did you know that this suite coordinates with June's Paper Pumpkin??? The bundle and DSP in this suite are absolutely FABULOUS, so I am sure you will want the Paper Pumpkin Kit!

I am going to be honest the catalog doesn't give this paper enough credit, anything with Gold Foil polka dots with Lovely Lipstick and Lemon Twist is a winner in my eyes but then on top of that you add the Basic Black! Another great added feature for this suite is the fact that some of the dies cut the shapes of the DSP.

I must confess I got a bit crazy when I realized this Framelit from the Broadway Lights Framelights cut the party hats! How cool is that?? So I decided to take my party hats and my Metallic Sequin Assortment and make a shaker card!

So obviously the card started with my shaker element. There is a great die that cuts the frame which is shown here in Lovely Lipstick, it has small holes for you to add the Metallic Pearls to give a studded look. This takes a little while to do. Once I had the frame cut I adhered it to a small piece of Window Sheet and fussy cut to fit my frame. The Foam Adhesive Strips are amazing for shakers and fit perfectly behind the frame. I chose a piece of  Broadway Bound Specialty DSP for the backing to my shaker and again fussy cut it to fit behind the frame.  My shaker bits are the die cut party hats I mentioned above with sequins from the Metallic Sequin Assortment. A nice bow using the Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon is tied around a coordinating sheet of Broadway Bound Specialty DSP and Lemon Lime Twist Matte. I wasn't quite done at this point. The Lemon Lime Twist Wish die cut is also in this bundle, I have cut it twice for some added dimension. To finish this card I stamped the "Make A" with Lemon Twist Ink and made like tab above the shaker using the Detailed Trio Punch. A couple more party hats and this card was complete!

This suite was so much fun to work with and I can't wait to see how it coordinates with this months Paper Pumpkin! Don't forget to get signed up no later than 1159 PM MDT tomorrow!

TGIF Challenges 163 Sketch Challenge

TGIF!! Friday's seem like every other day during summer break! Are you all surviving? I am, barely... Managed to get poked in the side of the foot with a rusty pitchfork Wednesday, cleaned it out and by yesterday evening it was red and swollen. Drove to the ER thinking that I was going to need a Tetanus shot, left without a shot and was given antibiotics. Such is life out in the country!

TGIF Has a fun sketch this week! I actually created this card a few weeks ago on accident when looking at the wrong sketch. So I was REALLY prepared for this challenge and I can't wait to show the card I have made with the Stitched All Around Bundle and Handwritten Background Stamp.

I just love this color combo! My card base is the new Soft Seafoam with a lovely matte of Petal Pink. I used the stitched background die from the Stitched All Around Bundle on Very Vanilla card stock to create my background. The Handwritten Background Stamp was perfect with the Soft Seafoam ink. I distressed the edges with an old pair of snips. I tied a nice Linen Thread bow before adding the large stitched label die cut. This too is in Very Vanilla but I chose to stamp this with Petal Pink ink and adhere it with Stampin' Dimensionals. A few of the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls and this card was done!

Thank You so much for stopping in today! I can't wait to see what you create with this weeks challenge!

Paper Craft Crew 295 Sketch Challenge

Paper Craft Crew is back this week with a fun sketch that we will be giving you guys TWO WEEKS to play along with, and that should just enough time for you to get your new boxes of goodies from the new catalog!

Sadly my box of new goodies has yet to make to my house (insert tantrum here). Although, I have made a really cute card with some new stuff and carry over stuff. Lets get to the card...

This card came out with the esthetic of a modern day pin up girl. With the Melon Mambo sunglasses, the abstract florals of the Garden Impressions DSP and the beautiful Night of Navy Gingham Bow! With a soft base of Petal Pink and a Calypso Coral matte to coordinate with the pocket with the Night of Navy stamped sentiment. This card was made using the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set with coordinating Pocket Framelit dies. I even added a nice Starburst Punched "sunshine" coming out of the pocket!

I hope you have enjoyed my design with this two week sketch challenge! I am sure that ALL of you will be joining on this!

Stamp Ink Paper 153 Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Happy Tuesday! Summer break is definitely in full swing when we are looking for ways to escape to the pool! We have gone to the pool three times, and honestly today may be a necessity with the possibility of the temp hitting nearly 100 degrees.

This week with Stamp Ink Paper we are designing with a TIC TAC TOE. I made my three in a row by going straight across the bottom with Wood, Flowers and Glitter!

This great card started with a lovely piece of Delightfully Detailed laser cut DSP. To adhere this to the Wood Texture DSP you can simply sponge the Liquid Multipurpose Glue on the back. I added this to a rich layer of one of the new neutrals Merry Merlot card stock. My three in a row was not complete without glitter. The Gold Glimmer Paper was a beautiful addition when die cut with the Petals & More Thinlits. A stitched oval with a Merry Merlot stamped sentiment from the Detailed with Love stamp set was the perfect touch!

Thank You so much for stopping by my blog today! I can't wait to see how you make your 3 in a row!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Manly Moments Blog Hop

We are back for the May edition of the "A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop". We all know that this is a time of year that lends towards masculine cards, and I don't know about you but I STRUGGGGGGGLLLLLLEEEE with Masculine! It isn't that I can't do them or won't. It just usually isn't in my wheel house. This kit makes it so easy!!!

When I say the kit is easy, it can cater to the avid stamper and of course the beginner! Before I show you what I have created you may notice a familiar design below. I was lucky enough to have made alternative designs for the Paper Pumpkin blog... Let me show you what I have made.

So when I say Masculine is a struggle, it really is! It is a theme I feel I struggle with and when designing a card sometimes it just happens to look Masculine. So imagine Andrea (That's Me!) getting the Manly Moments Paper Pumpkin Box, but in all honesty, this box took all the panic away for me! I made nice Gift Card Holder and card with this months kit.

Thank You so much for stopping by! To get more ideas continue along on the hop with the link list below!
