OSAT Mix It Up Blog Hop

HI!! Remember me?! The mom of 3 crazy kids who lives a total chaotic life of sports, 4H and everyday life?! I can't tell you how good it was to be back in the craft room! Although, I must confess... I have very little of what is in our new Annual Catalog, but pig feed seems to be outranking my stamping!!! Taryn has kept herself busy with sports camps and her pigs since before school let out... now we are ont he final countdown until fair!

So today I am back with my crew from the OSAT Blog Hop Team and we have put together a blog hop full of pattern mixing and I can't wait to show you what I have mixed up for you today!

So for todays hop I have mixed the Fresh As A Daisy DSP with the Dots & Spots Die to create this great "You make my day" card using the Cheerful Daisy Bundle. I was so excited to be using Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist together with our Basic Black again! It truly is one of my favorite color combinations. I am going to keep this short as this is my first day back on the job...

Thank You for stopping in!

OSAT Fresh Finds Blog Hop

Hello!!! Happy New Year to all of you, I can't believe that our holiday break has come and gone so quickly. Junior High girls basketball is in full swing. Taryn has really enjoyed it this far and her second game is tonight. I ended up missing her first game driving back from Children's as Josh was scheduled to have his Ambulatory EEG. Never a dull moment!! I hope that your New Year is off to an uneventful start!

I am back with my One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop Team with our January Blog Hop! This month we are hopping with new goodies from the Stampin' Up! Jan-April 2023 Mini Catalog! Yes you read that right, our Mini Catalog is from January to April this year. When I started seeing all the new goodies I just knew that the Desert Details and Delicate Desert DSP was going to be on my list! Let me show you what I have created with this gorgeous suite!

This bundle speaks to my Boho Cowgirl soul! I love the DSP and stamp set. I am sure you are going to get tired of seeing things with it! I inked up the succulent with sponge daubers first with Blackberry Bliss and the outside with Soft Succulent. I then used the coordinating die to cut it out. This is layered over a border cut with the Desert Details Dies of Soft Succulent card stock and is adhered over a piece of the Delicate Desert DSP. I have cut the Aztec like piece from the Dry Brushed Metallic DSP and it is tucked behind the succulent. This is nicely layered onto a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock. The sentiment is stamped in Gray Granite on a piece of Basic White. This is accented with the Pastel Adhesive Backed Sequins.

I liked my succulent above so much that I stamped and die cut another one. I stamped the sentiment Stylish Shapes largest stitched circle. I again tucked the Dry Brushed Metallic Aztec die cut back behind the succulent and have accented it with the Pastel Adhesive Back Sequins. This is adhered to a white gift bag I found at Christmas time and worked out so cute!

I can't wait for you to see what my friends have created with their Fresh Finds, make sure you click through the list below to get even MORE inspiration!

One Stamp At A Time BFF Blog Hop

Can you believe we are nearly halfway through August? School seems to start earlier and earlier for some. Our kids aren't starting until the 30th of this month. The kids and I all survived a week of fair. I can't believe that I will have a 7th, 9th and 11th Grader... This may be the year that I cry when they all go to school....
Today our OSAT Hop team is designing with the theme "BFF". We all know what that stands for and if you don't it is Best Friend Forever. I actually have one of those on this hop! I couldn't wait to play with some of Sale A Bration goodies and get them mixed with some of the NEW (listen I have hardly stamped) Memories & More cards. Let me show you what I have created today!

This card starts with a bright base of Daffodil Delight. It has a nice mat of Gray Granite to coordinate with the Today Is The Day Memories & More Card Pack. I have added a bit of the Silver & Gold DSP that is also a SALEABRATION item! I have stamped the "to another year" in Gray Granite from the Amazing Phrasing to create the back ground for my Daffodil Delight fussy cut "Woo Hoo!". I have accented this with some Clear Basic Rhinestones that I have colored with Mint Macaron Stampin' Blends and a bit of a Black Bakers Twine.

I am so glad that you stopped by today! I can't wait for you to see what the rest of my friends have made for the BFF's! You can click along the list below and hop along!

OSAT Hello My Name Is... Blog Hop

Happy Thursday! Can you believe we are finishing our second weekend of May already? I think we only have 10 more school days left. I may have encouraged the count down to the kids. Not that the summer is going to be any less busy. Life has been a bit stressful again with everything being back to our norm. My mom was recently in the hospital for a bacterial pneumonia. It was super scary, I live in Colorado, she still lives in my child hood home in Southern California. I knew she was in good hands and I am just glad that she is home!
This month the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop Team is hopping with our new toys from the new catalog and we can't wait to show you all of the new and fun things this catalog has to offer you! Today my design will feature the NEW Hues of Happiness Suite and the Stylish Shapes Dies! Lets take a look at what I have created for you today!

The Hues of Happiness suite is an amazing suite that includes the Hues of Happiness DSP, Happiness Abounds stamp set and the Blossoming Happiness Dies. I just love that there are warm and cool versions of much of the designs! Today I chose to pair this DSP with Coastal Cabana, Melon Mambo and a touch of Fresh Freesia. Lets take a look!

My card has a beautiful base of Melon Mambo with a mat of Coastal Cabana I have used this lovely floral DSP to coordinate with the my paper purse. I cut a piece of Basic White to 3" x 4" before using the returning Stitched Greenery Die. Once I had that ready I used the fun border die in the Blossoming Happiness Dies. I added a 1/2" strip of Coastal Cabana to give it a bit of pop. The flowers and leaves are die cut from the DSP. I love when we do this and it makes creating so fun! A bit of twine and a nice bow was the perfect touch in the company of the Iridescent Rhinestones!

I stumbled on this tutorial on Pinterest... It wasn't the easiest and there are definitely things I would change. Again, I have used the Hues of Happiness DSP. I have accented the corners with Coastal Cabana circles that have been die cut using the new Stylish Shapes Dies. Coastal Cabana was the perfect color to use for this purse and I continued to use it on the handles and top of the bag. I made a fun little luggage like tag that to tie on the handle with Fresh Freesia Ribbon. You can see the tag a bit closer below. I have stamped with the Happiness Abounds stamp set using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, and colored it with my Fresh Freesia and Granny Apple Green Stampin' Blends. I knew that a Heat Embossed sentiment would be the perfect touch!

Here is a closer look at the tag! Isn't it adorable??

I am so glad that you stopped by to look at my creations today and I am so excited for you to see what my friends have created for you. You can tour the WHOLE hop by clicking along the list below for more inspiration!

OSAT Hand Penned Blooms Blog Hop

Happy Thursday!!!! We have about 6" of snow outside and the kids have a snow day today and no school tomorrow so our spring break has officially started! There will be lots of hot chocolate and sledding today... I am so excited because we really haven't had enough snow to even sled on... After this melts I will be ready for spring and the warmth! Especially when we have pigs coming next week!
This month the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop Team is hopping with the theme of "Blooms". With Troy still recovering from surgery and having physical therapy appointments, it has been a struggle to get into the craft room! Last weekend I had the amazing opportunity to do a virtual presentation at a virtual retreat hosted by my good friend Amy Combs. When I started creating for her presentation I wasn't sure what I wanted to do and remembered my card from last months blog hop... except most of the products are now retired. So I had to find a way to make it with products available now and I chose to use the Hand Penned Suite. The card is a bit a different, but will look a little familiar! Lets take a look!

Pick Your Favorite DSP 7/8”x 3” 10-12 strips. You’ll want 3 or 4 patterns!
Layer 1-7 3/4”x 3 1/4”
Basic White Layer (you can use another color if you prefer) 7 1/2” x 3”
Card Base 7”x 8” scored on the short side at 3-1/2”

My card here features a Blushing Bride card base with a Pool Party mat. The Basic White layer acts as a base for my strips of Hand Penned DSP. I have about 3/4" strip of Blushing Bride that I have using the cute little stitched scallop border die from the Hand Penned Bundle on. The Basic White die cut is also from the Hand Penned bundle and is layered onto the strip with a small bit of Stampin' Seal. Once I had this complete I decided to stamp the large flower from the bundle onto a scrap of Pool Party and die cut with one the smallest Tailor Made Tags dies. I used the same die on my Blushing Bride stamped sentiment on Basic White. After carefully layering them over each other, I tied a nice Basic White Bakers Twine bow and accented it with a few Elegant Faceted Gems!

I can't wait for you to see the many other blooms on the hop today! You can click through the list below to get your floral inspirations!

OSAT Slim Shady Slimline Card Blog Hop

Happy Thursday if you got to this hop as it went live, you would know that I definitely did not have my crap together. Between kids and helping Troy post surgery life has been a bit crazy. I haven't had a ton of sleep and sometimes I am doing good just get out of the house with my hair brushed and deodorant on, probably a little TMI. I have found time to be in the craft room and that is truly what matters!

This month the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop team is hopping with the theme "Slim Shady",  the will have an emphasis on slimline cards and hopefully some fun coordinating projects. I chose to use the Rainbow of Happiness bundle (The dies should be back in stock later this month) and the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP which is in the Sale A Bration catalog. Let me show you what I have created today.

When creating the theme for this months hop, I must have been channeling my inner Super Bowl Half Time show... While I knew that we had the dies to create some slimline cuteness, I knew that we didn't have to have the dies to create the slimline card. I also created a fun little matchbook to hold some fun gum that I found at Dollar General. Lets take a closer look at the projects.

The base of Misty Moonlight is matted tightly with Basic White. I have cut strips of the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP at 3/4" x 3-1/4" and arranged them in what I thought was rainbow order. Once I had the desired patterns of papers cut, I adhered them in a staggering fashion with a bit of Stampin' Seal. The sentiment is from the Rainbow of Happiness stamp set and is also on a 3/4" piece of Basic White. A bit of the twine from the Flowers For Every Season Ribbon pack and some Clear Basic Rhinestones was the perfect embellishment for this card. I added a few Supple Shimmer Clouds with my Cloud Punch just to add a bit more sparkle.

This great little treat holder can be as fancy or not fancy as you want. I chose to make it so that it would coordinate with my card with a base of Misty Moonlight. Again, I have used the Sunshine & Rainbows DSP.

Here is a closer look without the flap tucked in...

It has this really cute pack of gum inside that I usually see at Target but I found it at Dollar General! I can't wait to show you the details and measurements in a Facebook live later this week!

I am so glad that you stopped by my blog today! I can't wait for you to see the rest of the Slim Shadiness on the hop today!
Have a Fabulous Day!

OSAT Happiness Is Blog Hop

Good Morning! I am going to keep this a bit short as I have not been feeling the best!
I am so glad that we are kicking this year off for the One Stamp At Time Blog Hop!
We are kicking this year off with the theme Happiness Is... And happiness is NEW PRODUCT!!!! The January-June Mini Catalog may not speak to you at first but you will find how versatile many of the products really are... or at least that is how it went for me! The Abstract Beauty suite was one of the first things on my list! The amazing stack of 4" x 6" specialty DSP, Ephemera Pack and last but not least the Hello Beautiful dies are going to be a staple in my craft room! I chose to use this bundle on a recent swap and today I am sharing my creation with you!

On a crisp card base of Thick Basic White, this card has a gorgeous mat of Blushing Bride and layer of Night of Navy. This bundle includes these amazing hexagon dies where I have created the sentiment with Night of Navy and Blushing Bride inks. It helped to stamp the Blushing Bride off a bit before I stamped the sentiment. Once I had this done I took some of the DSP from the Abstract Beauty Specialty DSP. A nice bow of from the gold in the Simply Elegant Trim was a perfect addition to this card. While I know this suite has some amazing hexagon embellishments, I chose to use the Elegant Faceted Gems to add a bit of sparkle!

I can't wait for you to see what the rest of our team has come up with today and I am so glad that you stopped in! You can click along the list below to tour the whole hop!
Hope you have a great day!

OSAT Season of Cheer Blog Hop

Happy Thursday to you all! This week has sure blown by! Taryn leaves for a church youth retreat tomorrow morning and Wesley leaves for the football teams away game tomorrow. They are giving the boys a brunch before sending them on their way, so I have to whip up 2 dozen muffins! Wesley has requested these pumpkin muffins that were one of the first recipes I tried from Pinterest. They are just a box of yellow cake mix and a can of pumpkin. Sometimes I spruce them up with a bit of pumpkin pie spice. All three kids really enjoy them.
Today I am back with my friends and crew from the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! We are hopping with the theme "Season Of Cheer", so if your holiday spirit is lacking, this hop is sure to get you feeling jolly again! I decided to pair up the Encircled in Warmth with the Heart Warming Hugs DSP for a fun home décor project and a simple little gift card holder, Lets take a look!

I just love how these projects turned out! I dwelled on the card for hours. The juices weren't flowing and I was pressed for time. I still, no matter what I try, am a master procrastinator! How do I fix this!? My wooden spool Christmas Tree is amazing and maybe why the juices weren't ever flowing! I used 11 spools. A painted one in brown for the trunk and the rest wrapped in assorted patterns from the Heart Warming Hugs DSP. It is accented with a bow of the Real Red Ruffled Ribbon and a stitched star of the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper.

This gift card holder started with the sentiment made with the Encircled in Warmth stamp set and my Stampin' Write Markers in Pear Pizzazz and Real Red. It is die cut with the largest label in the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. This fun little gift card holder sits on a piece of Pear Pizzazz that is 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". This was then matted with Real Red and the pocket feature made of Crumb Cake. I added a bit of the Heart Warming Hugs DSP and the Real Red Sheer Ribbon to keep it closed. You can see the inside below.

The sentiment is attached to the top flap with a few dimensionals. I then accented the label with some Wonderful Gems.  This is the perfect kind of Gift Card Holder for mailing this holiday season!

I am so glad that you stopped in today to see what I made for this Season of Cheer blog hop! I can't wait for you to see what my friends have made! You can click through the blog roll below for all of your holiday inspiration!

OSAT Ghouls Night Out Blog Hop

Happy Thursday! It has been crazy at our house with Volleyball and Football. Throw in some youth groups and bible quizzing and it is sure to keep me on my toes. I have been hard at Christmas card orders already and I can't wait to for you to see what I have created. Maybe for the "FIRST TIME IN FOREVER", I usually sing that like the movie Frozen, I will have my own Christmas Cards done. It is a goal!

Today I am hopping with a few of my Stampin' Up! Friends on the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop, this month we are hopping with the theme Ghouls Night Out, which we all could guess is Halloween. I had so much fun inking up my Sparkle Of The Season Bundle and the Cute Halloween DSP... Let me show you what I have created for you!

This card was made in a bit of a panic. As a stated above I have been in Christmas mode, and nothing can ruin that more than having to create a Halloween something. I chose to use the new bundle Sparkle Of The Season. This bundle is so versatile for this time of year with pieces of fall, Halloween and even Christmas. I have die cut the star like wreath out of our Black Glimmer Paper. It is accented with a pumpkin and broom from the bundle. I added a bit of accents with a white gel pen. The cute little Old Olive banner is from the Stitched Triangle dies. A few bats stamped with Highland Heather ink along with our sentiment. I have layered some of the Cute Halloween DSP in strips. A mat of Basic Black was perfect for our Highland Heather Card Base!

I am so glad that you stopped in!! I can't wait for you to see what the rest of us have come up with. You can click along the list below!
Happy Thursday!

OSAT Step It Up Blog Hop

Good Morning and happy Thursday! Quick question for all of you. Do you feel like the summer was in slow motion until we August and now suddenly life is in fast forward? I seriously can't wrap my head around the fact that we are already in September! It helps that the kids are back in school but when tomorrows temps are suppose to be 103 degrees (Fahrenheit) it makes me long for the pool!
Today the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop Team is back with a fun theme! We are Stepping it Up! For those of you scratching your heads wondering what that means, it means we are showing you one card that is simple and for beginners, a card that might be for the casual crafter or card maker and a card that is for the more avid or advanced card maker. I have used the Christmas To Remember stamp set with its coordinating Christmas Season Bundle for todays projects. Lets take a look!

I found it to be a struggle to do a card that is a bit more simple intentionally! The card started with the piece of the Peaceful Prints DSP. I then cut a small rectangle in Basic White and stamped the sentiment with Real Red Ink. The pine branches were stamped in Garden Green with my pine cone stamped in a combination of Crumb Cake and Early Espresso. A nice little Linen Thread bow was a perfect touch!

Now my card for the casual crafter. This card has a lot of the same aspects. With this card I decided to die cut one of the Garden Green pine branches and the Pine Cone. I also added a nice mat of Garden Green behind the sentiment and distressed it a bit with an old pair of Paper Snips. The corner of the Basic White is rolled down and accented with a Gold Gilded Gem. For the ribbon this time, I added a bit of the Very Vanilla Lace.

Now for my avid card! You will notice that my pine cone although using the same colors as the original card, is on a piece of Crumb Cake card stock. I have stamped the pine branches in Garden Green and die cut both of them and is arranged with an accent of Linen Thread behind the Pine Cone. There are a few more Gilded Gems with this card and one of the fun things I did was some heat embossed Gold splatters! On the corner of the Garden Green mat, I also stamped the pine branch. Again a bit of Lace and Linen thread for the bow. Each card sits on a mat of Garden Green with a Real Red card base!

I am so glad that you stopped by to see my creations today and that I have inspired you to Step It Up!
I can't wait for you to see what my friends have created, you can click along the list below to see them all! Have an amazing day!

OSAT Mashup Blog Hop

Happy Thursday! Hope your week is going amazingly well! Taryn had her first field trip yesterday since before the pandemic. They enjoyed Old Town Burlington about an hour south of here! She came home telling me about the doll house and making butter. She must have had an amazing time! Troy and I have one more week of bible study. This weekend is going to include some yard work and some pig fun. It is probably the last weekend we have that doesn't have something for at least the next 6 weeks!
Today I am back with my friends on the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! We are so excited for this hop. We are hopping with the theme "Mash Up". So the team is creating with returning friends AND new products from the NEW Annual Catalog! I chose to use the returning favorite Daisy Lane and mix it with the NEW Daisy Garden and some Scalloped Kraft Treat Boxes.... Let me show you what I have created!

Aren't these adorable? I just love how this ensemble came together! There is nothing more exciting for me than trying to pair carry over stuff with our new goodies! To be honest, I really hadn't even used the Daisy Lane Stamp set in over 2 years... Shocking I know!

This card started with a wood grain piece of DSP from the In Good Taste paper pack that thankfully carried over! I have used the NEW Daisy Garden Background stamp and heat embossed it in White. After doing this I wasn't quite sure how to use it or what I wanted to do with it but then I remembered I had the NEW Picture This Dies that cut out all three rectangles, these are the positives from the die cut. I set these aside with some Stampin' Dimensionals on the back while I distressed my Crumb Cake layer, with a pair of old Paper Snips and some Early Espresso Ink with my Blending Brush. Once this was done, I laid down my negative from the Picture this dies and arranged the positives accordingly and adhered them to the Crumb Cake layer. This is beautifully matted onto a piece of Rich Razzleberry and a card base of Soft Succulent. It is accented with a bit of Linen Thread and In Color Jewels. The sentiment is stamped in Rich Razzleberry.

Here is a closer look at this beauty!

This Scalloped Kraft Treat Box made my coordinating project so easy! I have used a bit of the Fine Art Ribbon and Soft Succulent Open Weave Ribbon to tie around this. I made the tags using the Label Me Lovely Punch and the Medium Daisy Punch. I have heat embossed the sentiment below!

I am so thrilled that you came by to see my creations today! I just can't wait for you to see the rest of the hop! The link list is below and you click along the list to everyones creations!
Have an amazing day!
