A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop Gift of Fall

Happy Thursday! Our amazing A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop team is back at it with this months kit "Gift of Fall". If my post seems a bit short, well it is going to be... Today is the first day of school for this house and I am busy trying to get my house clean because my Dad comes into town tomorrow!
I decided that before sending my samples off to the home office to get some pictures this time... I had plans to make something entirely different for this months hop. Time has not been my friend lately and it seems like I am putting out fires.

These great designs were created using the Gift of Fall kit. My card uses an amazing new stencil from the holiday catalog. I sponged the trees with Crushed Curry, Merry Merlot and Soft Suede. This is layered onto a piece of Pretty Peacock Mat and was on a rich base of Crushed Curry. This was accented with the velum pieces and die cut from the kit. A nice copper embossed sentiment with Linen Thread loops was just what this needed.

The treat bag is one of our gusseted bags. I wrapped some chocolates and made a nice insert of DSP. The tag is from the tags and more kit and was also accented with the velum pieces from the kit. I pillaged through my stash and made a quick little banner before adding my bow and copper clip!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait for you to see the rest of the hop! You can check it all out by floating through the list below!

OSAT Something Old, Something New Blog Hop

Happy Thursday! Can you believe it is already the second Thursday in June!? The kids and I are finally going to break down and go to the pool today. The bickering is strong and I know that the pool will wear them out!

Today I am hopping with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop Team... The theme is Something Old, Something New. I know in your head that you are saying "Something Borrowed, Something Blue." Although, this is not the idea of this months hop when I created the schedule. Today we are featuring NEW stamps or products with products that have carried over! I took the opportunity to showcase the Over The Moon stamp set! Let me show you what I have made!

I must say that yesterday morning when I started on this (I work well under pressure), these projects came together so easily! I started by stamping the cow from the Over The Moon stamp set twice, when doing this make sure you stamp them with enough room to be die cut and punched. I colored both of these flower holding cuties the same using Soft Suede, Crumb Cake, Poppy Parade, Granny Apple Green, Gray Granite, and So Saffron Stampin' Blends. Once I had these colored to my liking, I added a bit of "grass" around and then used the large label die.

I layered this die cut over 1.5" x 5" piece of the Pressed Petals DSP, of course I used the burlap! This was adhered onto a Whisper White piece of card stock that I stamped using the All Wired Up in Granny Apple Green ink. Before adhering this to the Poppy Parade mat, I added a cute little strip of So Saffron that was die cut with cross stitch like die from the Stitched Labels Dies. A double strand of Linen Thread was just the right touch.

So here is my second Cow! Punched with the Starburst Punch and layered onto a 2 1/4" Circle of So Saffron! This cute little treat holder holds some "Mini Cow Tales" candy! I fit two neatly in this easy little treat holder!

This treat holder was so easy to make. It's 2" x 10 1/4" of Poppy Parade Card Stock. I scored at 5", 5 1/4", 5 1/2". Once this was scored, the second score line will be a mountain and the others valleys. I added a strip of Tear N Tape for the candy to stick to on the back side. The tops were punched with the Detailed Tag Topper Punch. A bit of Flax Ribbon and a Linen Thread bow to close it up. A nice 1 7/8" x 4" strip of DSP fits nicely on the outside of this.

Thank You so much for stopping by on the hop today! I can't wait for you to see what all of my friends have whipped up for you! You can click along the hop by using the link list below!
Happy Thursday!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Wildflower Wishes Blog Hop

This week!!! Phew it has been a doozy!!!! I am totes done and ready for spring break in a week!!! Are you ready for another AMAZING A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop!?

This months kit is called Wildflower Wishes, as you tour the hop today you will see lovely stickers and die cuts made with brightly colored wildflowers paired with Sahara Sand Card bases. Let me show you what I have created as an alternative for you this month!

Ta-Da!!!!! Fun right! I have created the fun card using the Calypso Coral, Rich Razzleberry and Sahara Sand inks. I used our amazing new tool the Stamparatus to create my "stack" sentiments! I colored the vellum embellishments with the Old Olive Stampin' Blends markers and accented it with a Bermuda Bay colored wood element flower. I tied a cute little bow with the Linen Thread from the kit.

My cute little nugget holder was made using the narrow Wildflower Die cut. I scored two lines approximately an inch apart and created a "purse" look. A wood button with Linen Thread bow with a nice 1/8" Calypso Coral Ribbon handle was perfect! I wrapped the nettle nugget with the patterned Sahara Sand paper, You just simply cut a 1 x 3" piece to wrap it! I have shown you below!

My Birthday Bash Step Up

As promised, I am coming to you today with a great "Step it Up" idea! Last week I was running out of time for the OSAT Blog Hop and needed to come up with some thing cute and fast. So I busted out my Gift Card Envelope die and cut out this coordinating "treat holder" below. You can see the orignal post but clicking the photo below! Let me show you how I stepped it up first!

I untied the ribbon that I used to wrap around it and simply punched a hole into a 1/2" and 3/4" Circle Punches and looped the ribbon in! I added some Whisper White Bakers Twine in a cute little bow around the ribbon. I made a nice belly band using the coordinating DSP from Tasty Treats. A nice stitched circle stamped with Playful Backgrounds and the Cool Treats was layered onto a Dazzling Diamond Scallop Circle from the Layering Circles die set. Some cute little banners and a little bit of washi was just the right touch!

Adorable right? Thank you so much for stopping by to see how I stepped up my quick and easy project from Thursday!
