OSAT Welcome To the Holiday Blog Hop

Can you believe that today is the second Thursday of September already?! Time sure is flying and it seems that my constant state of organized chaos is now my new norm!

Today I am back with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop team and we are hopping with all of our new goodies from the new Holiday catalog with the theme "Welcome To Our Holiday". I decided what better to use than the Harvest Hello's. Let me show you what I have created for your favorite teacher!

This great card features our Harvest Hello's Bundle! I have colored the apple with Poppy Parade, Light Petal Pink and Soft Suede Blends. This is nicely layered onto the Gingham piece of Shaded Spruce gingham DSP and accented with the Decorative Trim Border Punch. The Come To Gather DSP was the perfect piece to have this layered onto! I have fussy cut the sentiment that I have stamped in Soft Suede. A nice Bakers Twine bow was just what this apple needed.

I found the caramel apple lollipops at our Dollar General. I have taken a nice piece of Soft Suede Card stock and cut it  at 5.5" x 2.5", You will score it at 2.5" and 3". I have used the Come to Gather DSP to coordinate with the card. These are cut at 2" x 2 1/8" and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I punched two holes on either side of the stick of the lollipop to tie the Braided Linen Trim. Another Poppy Parade colored apple from the Harvest Hello's bundle and a couple cute gingham leaves and this cutie was done!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to show you what else the OSAT Team has come up with for you from our amazing Holiday catalog! You can tour the hop by clicking the list below!

Paper Craft Crew 309 Happiest Christmas Wishes

Thank goodness it is Wednesday! Have you ever just had one of those days where no matter what you tried, it didn't work! That was the whole mantra with this card... maybe because I had Taryn home on Monday, I was just completely OFF!!!

This week with the Paper Craft Crew we have a fabulous sketch for all of you to be inspired by. You can find the sketch and the details below!

Like I said above this card was a bit of a struggle! Once I had a clear and concise idea I ran with it, and if at first you don't succeed try, try again! So after stamping a few different Reindeer and messing with some Spirited Snowmen the card below is what I came up with...

I think that sometimes once we finish a card and look at it we surprise ourselves with how mentally complicated it was to whip it up so to speak. This card starts with a rich base of Merry Merlot Cardstock with a nice matte of Sahara Sand. I have matted the Joyous Noel DSP with Tranquil Tide Cardstock. I punched a nice glimmer trim using the Decorative Trim Border Punch using the Glimmer Paper Pack that coordinates with the DSP. My Softly Falling embossed Stitched Circle is sponged with the Frosty White Shimmer Paint. My Sahara Sand Stamped Reindeer from the Dashing Deer Bundle looks so cute on the its snowy background! I have stamped the sentiment using Tranquil Tide ink on Sahara Sand Card stock then fussy cut into two little banners. It looks so cute with the Merry Merlot Card stock and glimmer paper banners. Before adhering everything I tied a quick double strand Linen Thread bow.

I am so glad that you have stopped by today! I can't wait to see what you create with today's challenge! I have provided a full list of the products I have used on today's card below.

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Picnic Paradise Blog Hop

Happy Thursday! Welcome to another AMAZING A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop! Now before you tour the whole hop today let me give you a heads up. It is a bit smaller because many of our friends are on the Alaska incentive cruise... Lucky them right?

I have been a bit absent from blog as of late. End of summer festivities are beginning to kick in to high gear. With our Wray Daze weekend starting tomorrow, the fair next weekend, and then our annual company trip. That doesn't even count the dance and footballs camps or me getting the horse ready for the horse show at fair!

This month Paper Pumpkin has put together an adorable kit that couldn't scream summer time any more! The kit is called Picnic Paradise and I still have a million alternatives rolling through my head! Okay, maybe not a million... but there are plenty of alternate ways to use this kit. Let me show you what I have done!

This cute card started with a coordinating base of Granny Apple Green Card Stock with an uneven layer of Blueberry Bushel. I have added a nice piece of Wood Textures DSP but not before I added the Poppy Parade Cotton Paper much like a table cloth. The stitched stamp with Soft Suede ink came in handy as a border stamp. To make my berries pop, I have heat embossed them with Clear Stampin' Emboss Powder then added a couple leaves. I went ahead and used the die cut labels from the kit for the sentiment. I first stamped the stripes in Granny Apple Green, then layered the "For You" in Soft Suede over the top. To finish this card up I tied a nice twine bow.

The basket is a bit tricky, but who doesn't like a challenge. I have added a Granny Apple Green trim to the basket using the Decorative Trim Border Punch. The cute white button like brads came from the Basic Brads pack. I trimmed a bit of the vellum, punched a Blueberry Bushel Gingham tag and layered the Apple on this. If you look closely at the apple you will see that I have used the die cut from just below the stem, so don't throw it away! I have filled my basket with some chocolates!

Thank You so much for stopping in today! I can't wait for you to see the amazing creations on this hop!
