Click for Challenge Details

This week with TGIF Challenges we are creating with the "Anything But a Card" theme! It was a great opportunity for all of us on the team to share what we created for our 3D Swap at OnStage in Orlando... What a group of girls this team is. I am so happy that these fabulous ladies are my friends. I chose to use up some Powder Pink card stock and whip up some cute little lip balm holders!

This fun little favor has a nice base of Powder Pink Card Stock. I have created the tag like top with Detailed Trio Punch. I have layered the Broadway Bound DSP as fabulous contrast with Basic Black and Gold Foil accents in the DSP. I stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black from the Stitched All Around stamp set and punched it out with the Starburst Punch. I added a fun Gold Foil Banner from the Bunch of Banners framelits and adhered it to the back of the Starburst before attaching Dimensionals to adhere to the 2 1/4" Circle of Gray Granite. The Shimmery Black Ribbon with Gold Cord was the perfect accent!

I can't wait to see your creations for this weeks challenge!! I have provided a full supply list so that you can make your own Lip Balm holder!

Have a great day!

OSAT Ghouls Goblins and Gourds Blog Hop

Happy Second Thursday of the MONTH! I am back with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop Team and we are hopping with an so fall like Ghouls, Goblins and Gourds theme! I can't lie!!! I fell asleep at the computer attempting to get my ducks in row with my hop post... So imagine my feeling when I woke up an hour ago to the realization that I had not put my post together. That will make a girl jump up about as fast as a child throwing up...

So like I said above the theme this month is Ghouls Goblins and Gourds! I just can not get enough of the Frights and Delights Paper Pumpkin Kit with the Trick or Tweet stamp set. You may think my card looks a bit familiar. That is because when Paper Pumpkin was live on Facebook on October 1st, I was able and honored send in the card below as an alternative idea! Let me show you my projects.

The card started with a Basic Black Card Stock base. I used Gorgeous Grape Card Stock for my wonky like layer to coordinate with the Frights and Frills Paper Pumpkin Kit. The Lemon Lime Twist stripe DSP is from the Broadway Bound Specialty DSP. The little black bats also from the Paper Pumpkin kit were just the right touch. My Stampin' Blend colored Elephant from the Trick or Tweet stamp set was just too cute to not add with this card. After using the 2 1/4" Circle Punch with the Starburst Punch, I added a bit of mini striped ribbon in Gorgeous Grape and some Silver Mini Sequin trim!
I had to come up with something for a 3 D!! I always forget about the Gift Bag Punch Board. Although simple and sweet it was a perfect little favor bag for ANY Halloween party!

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I can't wait for you to see the amazing Ghouls Goblins and Gourds on this hop! Have a Fabulous DAY!!!!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Broadway Star Blog Hop

It is A Paper Pumpkin Thing Thursday! Where myself and a bunch of Stampin' Up! Friends get together to show you alternate ideas for each months kit! This months kit was SUPER awesome! Why?? Well because this months kit coordinated with the Broadway Bound Suite in the Annual Catalog. Usually I share the projects that are submitted to Paper Pumpkin for their blog post or at least one... but I loved this kit so much I wanted to make MORE!!!

The fabulous color combination of Lemon Lime Twist, Lovely Lipstick, Basic Black and Gold is so much fun! The DSP alone screams SASS! We all know I have a little girl with a WHOLE lot of Sass! Let me show you my projects.

I knew the minute I opened the pack of Broadway Bound DSP that the large Gold Foil Polka Dot was begging to made into a large tote! It actually took up a WHOLE sheet!! With Lovely Lipstick Starburst Punch corners and a Lemon Lime Twist and White Stripe matted with Lovely Lipstick border, I am sure I would find this the next time I was at the mall! I did a nice closure with the card base from the Paper Pumpkin kit and tied a nice Gold Cord bow adorned with nice Cake Tag made from elements of the kit!

My card came along nice and easy! I received an email from Splitcoast Stampers with a tutorial of the card base from Dawn Olchesfke. I used a Lemon Lime Twist Base then used the card base for the pattern on the front. I added a belly band to keep the card closed and added the Gold Foil Hooray from the kit. When it opens the stamped sentiment is from the Broadway Birthday Stamp Set. It was stamped on an envelope from the kit and accented with a few of the balloon stickers much like the front!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait for you to see what the rest of my friends have come up with! You can tour the whole hop by clicking through the list below!

A GIVEAWAY to take Paper Pumpkin Broadway Bound

Saturday in the craft room!!! If you caught my Facebook live yesterday, I received my first BIG Annual Catalog Order. I showed off all the fun new things that I chose to order including the Broadway Bound Suite!!! Did you know that this suite coordinates with June's Paper Pumpkin??? The bundle and DSP in this suite are absolutely FABULOUS, so I am sure you will want the Paper Pumpkin Kit!

I am going to be honest the catalog doesn't give this paper enough credit, anything with Gold Foil polka dots with Lovely Lipstick and Lemon Twist is a winner in my eyes but then on top of that you add the Basic Black! Another great added feature for this suite is the fact that some of the dies cut the shapes of the DSP.

I must confess I got a bit crazy when I realized this Framelit from the Broadway Lights Framelights cut the party hats! How cool is that?? So I decided to take my party hats and my Metallic Sequin Assortment and make a shaker card!

So obviously the card started with my shaker element. There is a great die that cuts the frame which is shown here in Lovely Lipstick, it has small holes for you to add the Metallic Pearls to give a studded look. This takes a little while to do. Once I had the frame cut I adhered it to a small piece of Window Sheet and fussy cut to fit my frame. The Foam Adhesive Strips are amazing for shakers and fit perfectly behind the frame. I chose a piece of  Broadway Bound Specialty DSP for the backing to my shaker and again fussy cut it to fit behind the frame.  My shaker bits are the die cut party hats I mentioned above with sequins from the Metallic Sequin Assortment. A nice bow using the Basic Black Shimmer Ribbon is tied around a coordinating sheet of Broadway Bound Specialty DSP and Lemon Lime Twist Matte. I wasn't quite done at this point. The Lemon Lime Twist Wish die cut is also in this bundle, I have cut it twice for some added dimension. To finish this card I stamped the "Make A" with Lemon Twist Ink and made like tab above the shaker using the Detailed Trio Punch. A couple more party hats and this card was complete!

This suite was so much fun to work with and I can't wait to see how it coordinates with this months Paper Pumpkin! Don't forget to get signed up no later than 1159 PM MDT tomorrow!
