OSAT Pretty In Pink Blog Hop

Happy Thursday! Hope your week is treating you well! It was a scorcher here yesterday! Even by the time Troy was off of work around 5 PM, it was still 100 degrees (Fahrenheit). So the kids and I set up the slip n slide on the big hill. They played on that until almost 8! The weather was a bit questionable to the east of us and I wasn't sure if it was going to build up over the top of us. Dinner was pretty much set to go because it was a build your own salad night.
This month The One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop Team is designing with the theme "Pretty in Pink". We are all using our favorites shades of pink from our Stampin' Up! palette and creating some amazing designs. I have paired the Cling Mount set So Much Love with our Stitched Triangle Dies and created today's design. Let me show you what I have created...

The pinks I have chosen today are Flirty Flamingo and Blushing Bride. There really isn't a pink I don't like and I didn't want to use Magenta Madness because I just used it two days ago! I have die cut a bunch of the Stitched Triangles, in different sizes and started staggering them across the card. You will notice I added some Gold Foil as an accent. Once I had a achieved my desired look, I added a strip of Gray Granite. I love this color paired up with a pink of any sort and it was perfect for this card. I stamped one of the flower stamps from the So Much Love in Memento Tuxedo Black so that I could use my Flirty Flamingo Stampin' Blends. I snuck in a bit of Rococo Rose and colored the leaves in Soft Seafoam. When I fussy cut this, I got rid of some of the smaller flowers. I dotted the center with the Champagne Shimmer Paint and added a bit of Wink of Stella to the flower. This is adhered over the Whisper White strip that is stamped with Blushing Bride ink. I chose the Gold Glitter Enamel Dots to accent my design. This is neatly layering onto a mat of Blushing Bride and on a bright base of Flirty Flamingo.

My little sanitizer holder is made from a piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock with an accent of the DSP from the Brights DSP stack. I added a scrap of the Gold and White stripe from this past months Paper Pumpkin so that it would coordinate with the card. I tied a quick bow of Polka Dot Tulle at the top of the bottle.

I am so glad that you stopped by today! I can not WAIT for you to see what my 20 other friends have created for this hop! There is full list of all the blogs to tour below!
Have an amazing day!

TGIF 216 To A Wild Rose Sketch Challenge

TGIF!!! I am a bit late to the party... But Summer Break is kicking my rear! The kids and I FINALLY went to the pool on Thursday... It was refreshing, they really don't need me there but with everything with Josh, it is just better that I be there for now.

This week with TGIF Challenges Mercedes has whipped up a really great sketch and we ALL know that a sketch is really left up to interpretation!

I have inked up the "To A Wild Rose" stamp set on numerous occasions... But have yet to complete a card with it. I decided to flip the sketch and make a Landscape style card with it. Let me show you what I have made today!

This shabby chic card started with the flower. I made this beautiful flower using two of the stamps from the To A Wild Rose stamp set. I first inked up the solid like image with Flirty Flamingo ink and stamped it off to get a lighter color. Next I used the stamp set with more texture, again I inked up with Flirty Flamingo but I did not stamp off this time. There is a stamp in the set that has the outline but I chose to not use it. I did stamp the center with Crumb Cake. I was so excited when this set had coordinating dies to die cut the flower! The leaves are also from this bundle. Again I decided to stamp off my Old Olive ink first then stamped the line type stamp at full strength. The die actually cuts the leaves as a cluster, I chose to fussy cut one off and use it in another spot. A nice wood banner from the Pressed Petals DSP was just the right touch over my Crumb Cake background from the Gallery Grunge stamp set. A touch of the Scallop Lace Trim and a Copper Heat Embossed sentiment was just the right touch!

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to see what you create with this amazing sketch!

Creation Station In All Things Give Thanks Blog Hop

Okay, okay! I know I have a bit MIA but I am a master procrastinator when it comes to swaps for OnStage!!! If you throw all the variables life has thrown at me this last month I think that my piss poor time management skills are some what justified!

This month with the Creation Station Design Team we are hopping with the theme In All Things Give Thanks. I couldn't be more thankful for all of my family and friends... So I have designed a card that is rather simple for you today!

I have a nice card base of Rich Razzleberry Cardstock with a matte of Petal Pink. I embossed my Gray Granite Layer with the Layered Leaves embossing folder and sponged with the Champagne Mist shimmer paint! The stitched oval was stamped with the lace like stamp with Petal Pink and the sentiment with Rich Razzleberry. A nice polka dot tulle bow and a few basic adhesive back sequins and this card was done!

Paper Craft Crew 309 Happiest Christmas Wishes

Thank goodness it is Wednesday! Have you ever just had one of those days where no matter what you tried, it didn't work! That was the whole mantra with this card... maybe because I had Taryn home on Monday, I was just completely OFF!!!

This week with the Paper Craft Crew we have a fabulous sketch for all of you to be inspired by. You can find the sketch and the details below!

Like I said above this card was a bit of a struggle! Once I had a clear and concise idea I ran with it, and if at first you don't succeed try, try again! So after stamping a few different Reindeer and messing with some Spirited Snowmen the card below is what I came up with...

I think that sometimes once we finish a card and look at it we surprise ourselves with how mentally complicated it was to whip it up so to speak. This card starts with a rich base of Merry Merlot Cardstock with a nice matte of Sahara Sand. I have matted the Joyous Noel DSP with Tranquil Tide Cardstock. I punched a nice glimmer trim using the Decorative Trim Border Punch using the Glimmer Paper Pack that coordinates with the DSP. My Softly Falling embossed Stitched Circle is sponged with the Frosty White Shimmer Paint. My Sahara Sand Stamped Reindeer from the Dashing Deer Bundle looks so cute on the its snowy background! I have stamped the sentiment using Tranquil Tide ink on Sahara Sand Card stock then fussy cut into two little banners. It looks so cute with the Merry Merlot Card stock and glimmer paper banners. Before adhering everything I tied a quick double strand Linen Thread bow.

I am so glad that you have stopped by today! I can't wait to see what you create with today's challenge! I have provided a full list of the products I have used on today's card below.
