The Joy of Sets Blog Hop - Floral - May 2020

Happy Saturday! I hope you are all having a lovely weekend. The sun is shining and I am going to spend my weekend cleaning out the craft room! The kids only have a few more days of distance learning and we are done!!! By the time they go back to school they will have been out of in school learning for 6 months! It has not been the easiest scenario.
I am so excited to be hopping along with the Joy of Sets team today, it is something new for me and I appreciate Angie McKenzie for letting me hop along. This month we are hopping with our favorite florals! I chose to use a stamp set that has been released from Stampin' Up! called Ornate Style. I have paired it with the So Sentimental Bundle and Peaceful Poppies DSP to make this amazing card today. Let me show you what I have created.

My card started with a piece of Whisper White. I have stamped the large flower stamp from the Ornate Style and stamped it on the corners with Memento Tuxedo Black. I have colored the flowers with Stampin' Blends in So Saffron, Old Olive, Rococo Rose, Mint Macaron and Calypso Coral. After finishing my coloring I die cut the rectangle with the Rectangle Stitched Dies. This is layered at an angle over an Old Olive stripe piece of Peaceful Poppies DSP. A bit of the Whisper White Crinkled Seam Binding Ribbon wrapped was the perfect touch with a nice double bow. Calypso Coral was exactly what I needed for a mat for this card. My sentiment from the So Sentimental Bundle is stamped with Old Olive ink and die cut with the coordinating die. To finish this card up, I have used a Mint Macaron card base and added a few of the Gilded Gems.

I can't wait for you to see what my other crafty friends have made for you today! Next on the hop is the amazing Angie McKenzie, you get to her blog by clicking the next below! Have an amazing weekend!

Kylie's International Highlights February Winners Blog Hop

It is an amazing Monday here in Colorado. We have rain, two kids at school and one home with a fever. Thankfully at this point Joshua and I have been spared from the cooties! HURRY! KNOCK ON WOOD!!!
I am so excited to be hopping with Kylie's International Blog Highlights Winners Hop! A huge and speciaal shout out to Kylie Bertucci for this opportunity! It is my first time participating and I am so looking forward to it! We are hopping with a Thank You theme, and to be honest... I was stumped! How is it that I went into my craft room THIS MORNING and whipped up a card this morning without any problems?! I have combined the So Sentimental Bundle with the Dressed to Impress bundle and paired it up with the Best Dressed Designer Series Paper. Let me show you what I have created!

This card started with the sentiment stamped in Basic Gray and die cut with the coordinating dies from the So Sentimental Bundle. I just love this sheet of the Best Dressed DSP. The florals in this pack are amazing and do NOT get enough credit. I decided to stamp the flowers from the Dressed to Impress Bundle using Memento Tuxedo Black ink so that I could use my Purple Posy and Petal Pink Stampin' Blends. I even added a bit of Old Olive on the leaves before die cutting with the coordinating dies. I had a strip of Petal Pink that had been embossed with the Tufted Embossing Folder left over from another project and decided to add it as a little layer with a touch of Gold Foil that was die cut with the small stitched like tag from the Dressed to Impress Bundle. The flowers were added to my sentiment with glue dots and was the perfect accent. This was adhered to my card front with Stampin' Dimensionals over a bit of Linen Thread. I accented this with a few Gold Metallic Pearls. This is all layered onto a piece of Purple Posy card stock on a base of Basic Card stock.

I can't wait for you to see what the rest of the participants have created for you today! You can find a full list below! Happy Hopping!

OSAT Blog Hop Purses Poppies and Paris

Happy New Year! The One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop is back for another year of creativity and fun! Can you believe in May we will be 5 years old?! I am so lucky that these amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world have joined this hop! We have some new faces this year and I can't wait for you all to see what this team has come up with this for this hop!

This month the OSAT team is hopping with all of the amazing things in the NEW Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!. Don't get distracted by the blog title it was more of play on words... and well who doesn't love Purses, or Paris or Poppies???? Well 2 out of 3 isn't bad right?! Let me show you what I have created for you today. It is a great mix of two different bundles and one amazing pack of designer series paper.

My card and project feature 2 amazing bundles. The Forever Blossoms Bundle and So Sentimental Bundle. The So Sentimental Bundle is going to be one of the most versatile sets in the catalog, with large sentiments and an assortment of stitched shapes it is AH-Mazing. The Forever Blossoms Bundle coordinates with the Parisian Blossoms suite! I love the flowers in this bundle and elegant sentiments.

The card started with a base of Petal Pink card stock with a mat of Cherry Cobbler. A layer of Whisper White with a strip of the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP that also has a mat of Cherry Cobbler and Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon. This was the perfect accent for my flowers that are stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink on Petal Pink cardstock. I love that these flowers have coordinating dies. Next, I stamped the flowers using Petal Pink ink and stamped the sentiment from the So Sentimental stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink. This was die cut with the coordinating stitched die. I adhered the flowers to the back of the sentiment, then adhered it with dimensionals to the card front. A nice bow and few Champagne Rhinestones  was the perfect touch for this card.

Would you believe that I made this before my card.... Using all of the same supplies! This cute little caddy I found on Pinterest from SallyStampers. I changed a few things by adding a card stock layers and the nice bow! Again I used the So Sentimental Bundle! Is that tiny tag adorable or what?!

I am so glad that you stopped by today! I can't wait for you to see what else is on the hop today! I have provided a list below for you to hop along with! Happy Hopping!
