The Spot 100 Getting to Know You

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone is doing well! Hopefully, I have escaped having whatever everyone in my house has had and shared. Thankfully all three kids went to school yesterday. Is it wrong for me to be ready for summer break already?! I am just ready for days at the pool, flip flops and a good thunderstorm or 2.

Today we start something new! A group of us have come together for a new creative challenge and we are calling it,
This Creative Challenge will be live every Tuesday! I am so excited because we have an amazing design team and I just can't wait to inspire all of you! For our first challenge we want you to get to know our styles! So we are calling it "Getting To Know You Designers Choice Challenge", we want to showcase our styles for you! You can click below to see our whole team and for full challenge details!

Now, If you have been following me for a while, you will know that I love my Subtles, wood, lace, coloring, flowers and of course heat embossing. I would consider my style is along the lines of a modern shabby chic. However we have more products that are not along this line, and I do try to showcase my creativity with more than just style. Let me show you what I have created for my "Getting To Know You Designers Choice" challenge!

This card started with our Stitched Lace Dies. I ran it through my die cutting machine with a piece of Whisper White before I used the Stitched Nested Label Dies to die cut it. I chose to use the Forever Blossoms Bundle. I have stamped the Memento Tuxedo Black before coloring with my Petal Pink and Soft Seafoam Stampin' Blends. I even added an extra flower and set of leaves so that my smaller Stitched Nested Label with my Gold Stampin' Embossed sentiment was balanced. After I adhered the flowers to the lace with the sentiment, I adhered this layer with Stampin' Dimensionals. A nice rich piece of wood DSP from the Pressed Petals DSP over the Tufted Embossed Soft Seafoam was definitely the right touch. I added a bit of the Metallic Pearls for a touch of bling. This is all nicely layered onto a card base of Petal Pink cardstock.

I am so excited about this new challenge and I can't for you to showcase YOUR style! The link up closes Sunday evening so you wont want to wait!
Have a fabulous week!

OSAT Blog Hop Purses Poppies and Paris

Happy New Year! The One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop is back for another year of creativity and fun! Can you believe in May we will be 5 years old?! I am so lucky that these amazing Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from all over the world have joined this hop! We have some new faces this year and I can't wait for you all to see what this team has come up with this for this hop!

This month the OSAT team is hopping with all of the amazing things in the NEW Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!. Don't get distracted by the blog title it was more of play on words... and well who doesn't love Purses, or Paris or Poppies???? Well 2 out of 3 isn't bad right?! Let me show you what I have created for you today. It is a great mix of two different bundles and one amazing pack of designer series paper.

My card and project feature 2 amazing bundles. The Forever Blossoms Bundle and So Sentimental Bundle. The So Sentimental Bundle is going to be one of the most versatile sets in the catalog, with large sentiments and an assortment of stitched shapes it is AH-Mazing. The Forever Blossoms Bundle coordinates with the Parisian Blossoms suite! I love the flowers in this bundle and elegant sentiments.

The card started with a base of Petal Pink card stock with a mat of Cherry Cobbler. A layer of Whisper White with a strip of the Parisian Blossoms Specialty DSP that also has a mat of Cherry Cobbler and Petal Pink Metallic Edge Ribbon. This was the perfect accent for my flowers that are stamped using Cherry Cobbler ink on Petal Pink cardstock. I love that these flowers have coordinating dies. Next, I stamped the flowers using Petal Pink ink and stamped the sentiment from the So Sentimental stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink. This was die cut with the coordinating stitched die. I adhered the flowers to the back of the sentiment, then adhered it with dimensionals to the card front. A nice bow and few Champagne Rhinestones  was the perfect touch for this card.

Would you believe that I made this before my card.... Using all of the same supplies! This cute little caddy I found on Pinterest from SallyStampers. I changed a few things by adding a card stock layers and the nice bow! Again I used the So Sentimental Bundle! Is that tiny tag adorable or what?!

I am so glad that you stopped by today! I can't wait for you to see what else is on the hop today! I have provided a list below for you to hop along with! Happy Hopping!
