This is the Cupcakes & Carousels Suite, I LOVE THIS WHOLE SUITE! There I said it! The colors and papers are amazing! The embellishment kit is divine with a great mix of sequins, bows, tassels and of course ribbon and twine! My card started with a lovely base of So Saffron card stock with a lovely Calypso Coral matte. My Very Vanilla base was stamped with Calypso Coral Ink and I used the DSP to create the strip at the top that I accented with a cute paper bow from the embellishment kit. My fabulous Ferris-wheel was first stamped using Versamark then adorned with Gold Stampin' Emboss powder to be heat embossed! I fussy cut this with our amazing Paper Snips and then adhered it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals!

Stamp Ink Paper 78 Winter Holiday Challenge

Happy Tuesday! I am sure that we are all in the "Ugly Sweater" mode of the holiday spirit! I am about tapped out on Christmas as well as 2016! It has been a year with a lot personal gut punches. I am so excited to see what 2017 what is going to hold for me!

Today on the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge we have a Winter Holiday challenge! I know not all of us celebrate Christmas... So I am sure all of you will enjoy this challenge!

My Card started with a base of Crumb Cake cardstock. Then with a quick matte of Garden Green and layer of the Warmth & Cheer paper, I had the base of my ugly sweater! I used another piece of coordinating paper to make a fun border across the card with another matte of Garden Green. My Stitched Square is stamped using the Hardwood Background stamp and was layered onto a Layering Square in Garden Green. I embellished my square with some of the Warmth & Cheer Washi and some Gold Bakers Twine. It was the perfect foundation for my little Reindeer guy!

Now Go! Make your Holiday Cards!

Paper Craft Crew 222 A Sketch Challenge

It is better late than never right? It is been a buzz of a week... I spent Tuesday afternoon at the vet with a friend and a sick horse instead of getting ready for the cold blast of weather. Then Wednesday and yesterday I spent getting ready for my class this weekend here in Wray! Life has been a whirlwind and I am so thankful that Pam understood when I couldn't get my design team card done for the Paper Craft Crew on time...

This week with the Paper Craft Crew we have a fabulous sketch that I decided to use some new goodies with... My card includes a stamp from the Holiday catalog, the poinsettia from the Annual Catalog and the DSP and Doily is from the upcoming Occasions Catalog! Come and take a look...

My soft base of Sahara Sand was a perfect compliment to the new Falling In Love DSP which will be available to you January 4th, 2017! This will be another paper that caters to my fond addiction to Blushing Bride! I matted this lovely paper with the Sweet Sugar Plum card stock. You will notice on the bottom picture that my banner was embossed with the new Hexagon Dynamic embossing folder. This as well as the Lace Doily which is Very Vanilla on one side and Whisper White on the other will also be available on January 4th. I did some fun Metallic Copper Thread loops and adhered it to the card with a few Stampin' Dimensionals. My lovely heat embossed Copper sentiment is from the soon retiring Tin of Tags set. Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Confession time... I was NOT excited about the new catalog! Then when I started adding what I wanted to my cart not all of it was cohesive. Revamped my order and somehow this bundle made it into my cart and I wouldn't change it for the world! It was so fun to play with. Let me get you the details of this super fun card...

The Designer Series Paper that coordinates with this set is called Tasty Treats. It is a Specialty DSP with some really fun patterns and fun colors such as Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach and Pool Party to just name a few. My card base is in Peekaboo Peach with matte of the Pool Party DSP from the Tasty Treats pack. My Watermelon Wonder card stock layer was embossed using the Polka Dot embossing folder from the Annual Catalog. I then did about a 1" strip on the left with another piece of the DSP from the Tasty Treats paper, aren't the sprinkles the cutest? A nice Peekaboo Peach Bow was the perfect little something! My circle was created using the Stitched Shape Framelits! My amazing sundae including spoon was created using the Cool Treats bundle! I even did a glittered topping using our Dazzling Diamond glitter. The fabulous little bowl was created with a bowl die from the bundle out of DSP. I put it on two layers of Crumb Cake, rubbed the edges with Chocolate Chip and heat embossed it in clear!

Does this not make you excited about the new catty??? If you need one let me know!
I can't wait to see what you come up with for this challenge!
