Creation Station Color My World Blog Hop

Happy Sunday!! If you got here a little bit ago, my post was having some issues... or should I say I was? However, it is here and it is up!
Welcome to the Creation Station Design Team Blog Hop! We are kicking off the New Year with a fabulous Color My World theme! I knew instantly that I would use the Stampin' Blends but wasn't sure How, What, or anything.

So, I have ALWAYS been coloring a freak even when it wasn't on trend! So imagine my delight when I opened the pack of the Petal Passion DSP! It has a few pages that lend towards the coloring idea. This is just one of them, Let me show you what I have created!!

Obviously if you have been following me this week, it seems as though I can't put the Petal Passion Memories and More pack down! I mean who wouldn't?! It, like the DSP has many options for coloring anyway that you would like! In fact it is how I made the note cards that go in this cute paper purse! I picked 4 different cards from the card pack and colored them. Once I had this done I stamped each sentiment with Versamark so that I can heat emboss them in Copper Stampin' Emboss Powder. When this was all done, I found a way to make each Note Card sized card to be a bit different either using more cards from the Memories and More pack or using the Petal Passion DSP. They all fit neatly in my cute little that is also made using the Petal Passion DSP! I have been coloring on this sheet every time I have had crafters block! It really turned out stunning, and I couldn't wait to use it for today's blog post! I added the fun polka dot pattern for the trim and handle, and embellished it with a few Metal Rimmed Pearls.

Thank You so much for stopping by today! To continue on Jennifer Downey and her amazing creations on this hop just click the next button below! Have a wonderful Sunday!

Sale A Bration is in full swing and I couldn't wait to ink up the Happy Wishes stamp set! If you "aven't noticed the Petal Passion Memories and More card pack has also gotten a lot of attention in my craft room! It is so versatile because of the black and white patterns, however that is not how I used it for this card... Let me get you the details!

Okay, I didn't use ANY of the cards from the Petal Passion pack. I did use the frame. I ended up cutting it up with my Paper Snips and using it as stencil! So when sponging my Island Indigo, Night of Navy and Fresh Fig I placed down on the bottom right corner and continued to sponge the rest of my 3.75" x 5" piece of Whisper White. I wasn't sure where to go from there but knew it needed balance. So I took the opposite corner piece in the frame and trimmed it up to go in the top left corner. This couldn't just be left as is, so I inked it up with Versamark and heat embossed it with Silver Stampin' Emboss Powder not once but twice! I adhered it by spreading Liquid Multipurpose Glue with a tiny paint brush. The light blue velvet scallop trim is from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment kit. This was adhered using Tear N Tape so that it would lay nice and flat! Once I had these elements done, I sponged with a finger dauber all three colors in an ombre like fashion onto the "Best" from the Happy Wishes stamp set which can be earned for free by placing a $100 order during Sale A Bration! I die cut this with the largest oval from the Stitched Shapes Framelits. To finish this I added the "friends" using Versamark and the heat embossed Silver Stampin' Emboss powder. I wrapped the Silver Bakers Twine around the center of the card and attached the oval with 4 Stampin' Dimensionals. I made a quick hole to tie the tassels from the Sweet Soiree Embellishment with a cute little twine bow! A few Glitter enamel dots and this beauty was done!

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to see what you make with this awesome color challenge!!!

Stamp Ink Paper 131 Amazing Emboss it Challenge

Phew!!! It is here, 2018!!! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Years! It seems as if this week officially puts me back in full swing with my design team obligations, blog hops and life. Are you in the frozen half of the country? Don't worry, I am sharing your pain right now too! We are on a Wind Chill advisory until later this morning... I didn't sign up for this crap! I grew up in Southern California!

This is something that I know for sure will warm you up! Stamp Ink Paper is back with a fun emboss it challenge! I couldn't wait to ink up some new goodies that will be available to you TOMORROW!!!!

This card started with lovely Pink Pirouette and Old Olive Stampin' Blend colored flower from the Petal Passion Memories and More Card pack. When you receive this card pack you will see that it has some of its own "spatters" on it. I decided to heat emboss more spatters with Gold Stampin' Emboss powder. The image alone is stunning but once I juiced it up a bit it surprised me how awesome it looked! I layered this onto a piece of Pink Pirouette card stock that was embossed with the Ruffle dynamic embossing folder. I added a strip of the Fancy Acetate and a Gold Foil stitched circle. Now, this Memories and More pack has coordinating DSP but I liked the Black and White stripe in the Tutti Frutti DSP more. My gorgeous sentiment is from the Sale A Bration catalog. The Celebrate You thinlits are AMAZING!! I simply die cut this twice and once adhered I heat embossed it twice again using the Gold Stampin' Emboss powder. A few Gold Faceted Gems and this beauty was done!

I can't wait to see what you make for this weeks challenge! I will back later today with a fun blog hop FULL of Sale A Bration goodies to get you ready for tomorrow!!!
