Stamp Ink Paper 63 Wonderful Wings Challenge

Good Tuesday morning! Sorry my post is a little late! I got stuck in homework, dinner and domestic goddess land last night! Totally spaced typing up my post!!

This week at Stamp Ink Paper we have a fabulous challenge that shouldn't be hard for anyone! It is a Wonderful Wings challenge! Sadly, it is Amy Koenders last week with us! I can't wait for you to see who the guest designer is for September!!!

So let me tell you something.... This was not my original card! Go ahead laugh! I had started and spent HOURS on another card! I didn't love it, and frankly I thought that there was going to be SOOOOOO many butterflies in this challenge, I needed to mix it up! This card uses 4 stamp sets! Ghoulish Grunge, Timeless Textures, Touches of Texture and Awesomely Artistic! I even used Rose Red and that is branching out for me! The metallic gold is Heidi Swapp  gold color shine to add some sparkle as well as the gold heat embossed dragon fly on my Gina Marie Stitched Circle! The "Shine" sentiment is from the Sunshine Wishes thinlits. I simply trimmed the Sunshine die cut! For my final touch I used some Pretty Pink Posh sequins!

Thank You so much for stopping in! I can't wait to see your Wonderful Wings card!

Can You Case It Pet Card Challenge

So excited to participate this week with Eva and the Can You Case It challenge!
I have been waiting sooooo long to use this Phyllis Harris set!
This gave me a great excuse to color and get inky!!

I can't lie! This card is not my norm.... I am not a colorer!! Well, I am just not when it comes to cards! I measured the image from "We Just Need Someone" stamp set and decided to fit it on a square. This set is designed by the amazing Phyllis Harris and created by Unity Stamp Co.
I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black then used my Prismacolor Pencils to color the image. I used my stitched squares from Gina Marie to cut this cute image out! I adhered it to a piece of Echo Park Homegrown Paper with a cute wood banner! The sentiment is from another Phyllis Harris set... However, I only inked the "True friends listen from the" and used the wood heart to replace the heart!
Cute, Colorful and Clever!!

Thank You for stopping by!

Paper Craft Crew 207 Sketch Challenge

Happy Wednesday to you all! If you are on the west coast you get to see my card a little earlier!
I am up late tonight waiting for my dear friend to get here! I am so super excited to see her!

Week after week The Paper Craft Crew continues to have amazing sketches! It took me almost 5 hours to collect my thoughts to get my card together but I hope you like what I have come up with!

This lovely card started with a base of Beemuda Bay with a coordinating matte using the Serene Scenery DSP. The Crumb Cake layer was embossed with the Softly Falling embossing folder. However, I flipped it over so it looked like sand. My great little "window" to the beach was created using Gina Marie's Dies. The beach paper also came from the Serene Scenery DSP. I wanted my shaker to look like sand and shells. I used some of the snow like shaker bits and some sand colored sequins... The Missing You sentiment came from the set Thoughtful Banners. The Burlap ribbon, And Bermuda Bay Sequins were stapled on. It wasn't quite enough so I found a Bermuda Bay button and did a quick linen thread bow!!
Thanks Fir stopping in!

Paper Craft Crew #206 DSP Challenge

Welcome Back!! It's Wednesday and we are almost over the hump!! It's been a busy week!We are getting ready for our annual company trip and company coming to town Monday! Although none of that mattered when I got my pre-order of new goodies from Stampin' Up!

I was so excited that even used some of  the new DSP for my design team card today for The Paper Craft Crew! I really love that the only challenge to this was using DSP... Which, if you ask Pam Staples I was over thinking of course!

My fun friendship card started with a base of Crumb Cake. I knew I wanted to use my stitched rectangles for this card. I used three different sizes starting with the Cherry Cobbler layer. This DSP is called Warmth & Cheer... This is a fabulous stack! There are a lot of Christmas type patterns but with the plaids and sweater type designs you can also use this stack for your masculine cards!! I wrapped the Linen Thread around my layers before putting the final layer on! After making this I probable should have embossed the star... My Banners For You Bundle had yet to be used! I know that I had used the dies... Just not the stamp set! I stamped the banner in Crumb Cake and the sentiment in Basic Black to coordinate with the stars! My final touch was so fun enamel dots and my Linen Thread Bow!!!

Thank you so much for stopping in! I can't wait to see what you make with this DSP Challenge!

Stamp Ink Paper 60 Color Challenge

Happy Tuesday to you all!! Our summer is winding down with our county fair almost over and school right around the corner. Our annual company get away is this weekend and the kids can't wait to go to Elitch Gardens!!

This week with Stamp Ink Paper we have a nice purple challenge! You will notice that we are not using Stampin' Up! color names. This is because we do not want you as participants to feel confined to using only Stampin' Up! product.

Did you notice some of us have gotten our pre-orders?? It looks like Amy Koenders and I have great minds and couldn't wait to bust open our new Paisley set!

My card started with a regal base of Elegant Eggplant! I then used my Stitched Rectangles from Gina Marie Designs to cut the Smoky Slate and Whisper White Layers. The Whisper White layer is stamped using the Paisleys & Posies Photopolymer stamp set in Elegant Eggplant, Wisteria Wonder and Smoky Slate! I added some sequins to give it a little whimsy! The Elegant Eggplant sentiment is on a 3/4 Inch strip punched at both ends with the Banner Triple Punch. This was a really funny and simple card to make! I can't wait to show you the rest of my NEW goodies!

Thank You for stopping by!

Paper Craft Crew 205 Sketch Challenge

Hello!! To some of you it is still Tuesday but for some it is the wee hours of Wednesday morning!
I spent all Tuesday afternoon with the horse shoer... Hooray for Pony Pedi's! All are now rip roaring and ready to go!

Today I am designing for the Paper Craft Crew! I just love that we do so many sketch challenges!! It keeps me constantly thinking outside of my box! I really didn't take this sketch literally... But the card is SOOOO fun and I can't wait to show you!

Who isn't addicted to the colors in the Pop of Pink DSP?! I started with a base of Basic Black Card Stock! I did a Melon Mambo Stitched Rectangle using the Gina Marie Dies! The Confetti paper is from the Pop of Pink DSP this too was cut with the Gina Marie stitched rectangles! I wasn't quite sure what to do for the circle of the sketch! DUH!!! Shaker here I come!! I took the Gold Foil Paper and used the Scallop Circle Stitched Frame from Gina Marie! I then adhered the acetate to create my window for the shaker! I have a great little shaker that I scored at Michaels that had the black and gold sequins in it! Once I had the foam strips around the circle I adhered the confetti back ground! I like to use Tear n Tape or Scor Tape to adhere my shakers to the card... This way I know it isn't going to come off! The stitched Black and White stripe drop banner was going to be perfect! My cute little candle with my awesome sentiment comes from the Birthday Banners set! This set also coordinates with the Bunch of Banners Framelits! For the final touch I added the Gold Sequin trim to the top!
POW! This card is amazing in person!

Can't wait to see you participate this week!

The Paper Craft Crew 204 Sketch Challenge

Wednesday!!! We are almost over the hump! I got the kids all registered yesterday at school! I still can't believe that my oldest will be in middle school!

This week at Paper Craft Crew we have a fun sketch for you to
Play along with!! I kind of ran wild with this sketch but as soon as I figured out in my head what I was doing it really did come together nicely!

So the muse for this card as it came together was the Serene Scenery DSP! It has a lovely aqua wood sheet that I really can't get enough of! I added to the wood using the Timeless Textures distressed wood like stamp using Bermuda Bay Ink! This too is what color the base of my card is. I then did a matte of Pool Party to coordinate with the DSP. The Whisper White is stamped using the Touches of Texture with Crumb Cake ink,Timeless Textures in Pool Party and Bermuda Bay. I also used the same colors on my Gina Marie Stitched Banner! Although, the Pool Party is heat embossed (I have a stash of retired embossing powders) and a I sprayed some Heidi Swapp White Color Shine to give it a shimmer. Before adhering the banner to the card I ran a strip of the burlap down the edge of my DSP. I then used some Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the banner to the card. The Gold Foil Butterfly was the perfect touch on this card! I really wish Stampin' Up! would have some more word thinlits! The Hope is from the Sunshine Wishes set. I cut this from Bermuda Bay Card stock and made it sparkle using Clear Wink of Stella! I couldn't leave this card alone, so added some Pretty Pink Posh Sequins!

Thank You so much for stopping in! I can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Stamp Ink Paper Challenge 57 Black and White

Good Morning! Running a little behind this morning... I usually type up my post the night before however, my stomach wasn't on the same agenda I was... I can't believe the kids have their school registration next week! This summer seems to have just flew by!

This week with Stamp Ink Paper we have a fabulous Black and White Challenge that our team member Carolyn Lindenmayer concocted! It really was a lot of fun!

This great card started with an A2 Base of Basic Black card stock! I used the NEW Gina Marie Designs Stitched Rectangles to cut my My Minds Eye Cut and Paste Papers and adhered them to the base cockeyed! On the Glasses paper you will notice that I used the Basic Black Thick Bakers twine with a cute little bow at the top! My fabulous glasses were cut out of Black Glitter Paper using dies from My Favorite Things! I adhere the glasses using the Foam Strips from Stampin Up and then adorned them with rhinestones! My sarcastic sentiment at the top is something I stumbled on in a Facebook selling group... It is from Unity Stamp Company and is from the "Consider Yourself Vintage" set! To give this card the final touch I added some black enamel dots and rhinestones!!

I can't wait to see all of your Black and White cards!!
Have a great day!

OSAT Shabby Chic Blog Hop

Hey there and happy Thursday! It is the second Thursday of the month and we all know what that means!! It is OSAT Blog Hop Time!!! It also happens to be Mr. Tucker's Birthday!!! I am so excited to tell you that my barn has made it!!! Literally just minutes ago!! Are you so excited?! I am!!!

This month for our hop theme we have chosen a Shabby Chic theme! I just can't wait to show you what we all have made... Did you see Justin's projects?? Were they not adorable??? Make sure when you are done looking at my little lovely's that you tour the WHOLE hop!!!

So I can't lie my burlap wreath has been wrapped for months! I just couldn't decided what I wanted to do with it... I guess I figured something out! I adorned it with some spiral flowers, lace and a cute little butterfly adorned with a cream rose from the Artisan Embellishment Kit from last year!

The card started with a base of Pink Pirouette. I used the New Stitched Rectangles from Gina Marie on my Mint Macaron layer and Chicken Wire layer! I really just can't get enough of these dies and the price point is amazing! My Pink Pirouette stamped Rooster from Unity Stamp Company is on a Stitched Circle from Gina Marie as well with some cute little Pretty Pink Posh sequins to accent. The cute little banner with the sentiment is also on a Stitched Banner from Gina.... See, I told you I loved these dies! To finish this card off I added some linen thread and crochet trim with a cute little vintage button at the top!

Thank You so much for stopping in! Jeanna Bohanon is next! Her creations are always amazing!

Stamp Ink Paper 56 Christmas In July!

Hey there and Happy Tuesday! Guess what?! It is going to be like Christmas here tomorrow... My NEW Barn will be here!!! I am so excited because I am also going to get stampy time with the lady responsible to introducing my to card making Diane Moyle!

This week with Stamp Ink Paper we have a theme!!! It is Christmas in July and I am sure a few of us would like to have some snow right about now!

My card is a mix of many brands this week! I have used the Bo Bunny Altitude Paper as my source of inspiration for colors as well as the paper for my card. I have used the amazing Gina Marie Scallop circle frames to create my lovely little "snowglobe" shaker! My fabulous tree Stamp is from Unity Stamp Co. The lovely sequins are a mix of Pretty Pink Posh, Stampin Up and some random ones found at a local craft store! If you close I clear embossed my Merry Sentiment twice and put some fabulous silver thread loops behind the shaker! The card base is Blackberry Bliss with a matte of Silver Foil....

Stamp Ink Paper 54 Color Challenge

Hello and happy Tuesday! We are so glad  you are joining us this week at Stamp, Ink, Paper!! Summer is in full swing and the boys are now out of summer school! The weather has been hot and humid here which has led to thunderstorms but no tornadoes! Today the boys get to go to a fun math camp and Taryn is off to swim lessons then back home to clean! Sounds fun right? We have family and friends coming in next week so the house is going to turn into "Hotel De Tucker"... Did I mention my new barn is on its way as well??? So it can tornado all it want's till it gets here right?

We have a super summertime color challenge for you that the lovely Sandy Mathis has created! Makes me think of a yummy fruit stand with fresh fruits!

My card started with a cheerful base of Daffodil Delight card stock. I did a matte in Tangerine Tango and adhered the Fruit Stand DSP at an angle. It's my first time designing a card with this kind of layout other than maybe a sketch challenge or two. The 5/8 in. Burlap Ribbon seemed to add to the farmers market feel. The heat embossed Crushed Curry sentiment from Watercolor Words on my Gina Marie stitched circle seemed to be just the right touch. I added a quick little burlap banner, and an Old Olive button complete with a linen thread
 bow to finish it off!!!

You are all the best!! I can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Stamp Ink Paper 46 Tic Tac Toe

Hey there!!! Happy May to you all with May brings flower and an overwhelming sense of spring!!! At least for most of you.... I had snow and rain all weekend!!!
This month we have the amazing Jan Tinklenberg guest designing for us!
We are starting this month with a really fun Tic Tac Toe Challenge!! I made my three in a row by going down the left side of the column!

This fabulous card kind of started backwards... I made the flower first and then started piecing things together... The stamps I used are called "Don't Be Like The Rest Of Them..." from Unity Stamp Company! I simply stamped the flower image using Versamark ink. Then used the gold Stampin' Emboss powder to heat emboss it!!So I did something new. I used my aqua painters with Blushing Bride and Wild Wasabi ink to watercolor my rose! I then took about a yard of gold metallic thread and wrapped it around my fist to create the loops behind the rose! The lovely stitched rectangles are from Gina Marie Designs. For my bling I adhered a mix of Pretty Pink Posh sequins!!  Flower, Pink, Bling that is my Tic Tac Toe!!!
Now I want to see how make our three in row!!!

Stamp Ink Paper #44 Lighthouse Inspiration

Happy Tuesday! I am so glad we are into a new week. I can't believe we had over 7 inches of rain over the weekend!! It was nuts!!
So glad I had a lighthouse to help me find my way out of this soggy weekend.
This weeks challenge is an Inspiration Challenge. I can't wait to see you all come up with... Let me give the details on my card!

The card started with a rich base of Soft Suede with a stitched layer of Soft Sky. This layer was created using the Gina Marie Designs Stitched Rectangle set! I just loved the idea of gingham... It gave me beach blanket, picnic feel which is usually what we would do when I was a child! I inked up the Gurnsey Gingham stamp from Unity Stamp Company using Soft Sky ink and stamped it onto Very Vanilla. This too was cut using the stitched rectangles. I also sponged the edges! The burlap ribbon was made to look frayed. What day at the beach isn't happy! Oh Happy Day is from a sentiment kit also from Unity! Again I have the Stitched Circle collection from Gina Marie and adhered this with Dimensionals!

Hope you all have a happy Day!
