Paper Craft Crew 306 Share What You Love Sketch

Wow!!! I can't believe it is Wednesday ALREADY!!! Wesley will have his first football home game tomorrow. I am so proud of his passion and perseverance. He is working hard at school and trying to keep on track. Meanwhile I am trying to keep on track with my Stampin' Up! Business, his football schedule, 3 kids homework, meals and LIFE! I am blessed that I am a person who USUALLY works well under pressure!

After a few glitches and I am sure a few naughty words said by Pam, Paper Craft Crew is live with an AMAZING sketch! In hind site, with the Holiday Catalog launching today I should have created with something from the NEW catalog but this card is too AMAZING not to share. Once again I am creating with relatively clean and simple esthetic! Enough chatter! Let me show you this card!

Let me just say I LOVE THIS CARD! It is simple, elegant and has nice elements of detail! The card started with the Love What You Do stamp set. I have done a No Line Water Coloring technique with flowers in this stamp set. I have used Calypso Coral, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive Watercolor Pencils, I have also snuck in the Flirty Flamingo Watercolor Pencil from the Lots of Happy Card Kit! After I achieved the look I was going for with my Aquapainters, I used the large Stitched Shapes square to die cut this. A nice Gold heat embossed sentiment and Linen Thread bow was just the right touch. This is layered over a Tufted embossed piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock. I added some Gold Heat Embossed splatters to my Thick Very Vanilla before adding the sentiment and embossed piece. Once this was added it needed a few Iridescent Sequins!

I can't wait to see how you play with this weeks sketch!

Creation Station Trees and Textures Blog Hop

It is Creation Station Sunday! We are having a beautiful weekend with AMAZING weather! Spent some time with the horses. The kids played a great game of hide and go seek as well as some fun jumping from hay bail to hay bail. We have big plans this evening and I have plenty of prep work to get done for a big surprise!

Today with I am the Creation Station Design Team and we are hopping with the theme "Trees and Textures", while you may not see Trees on my card, you will see Tree Rings and Wood. Showing you that you can make a card with layers and have visual texture, Let me show you what I have created!

My card design started with a nice background of Crumb Cake card stock. I gently stamped the Tree Rings background stamp with Crumb Cake ink so that the background was perfectly imperfect. Using the Share What You Love DSP, a large stitched oval from the Stitched Shaped Framelits from the wildflower pattern in this pack was perfect. The banners on the left were actually scraps I had and punched with the Banner Triple Punch and then layered underneath the oval. In my opinion a card ALWAYS needs a sentiment. The Share What You Love embellishment kit is absolutely delightful and had the amazing die cut label. Blackberry Bliss seemed perfect for the Thank You sentiment from the Love What You do stamp set. The Shimmery Pear Pizzazz ribbon was just the right touch with the Share What You Love Artisan Pearls. This was all layered onto a rich matte of Blackberry Bliss card stock and then added to a fresh card base of Pear Pizzazz!

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I hope that you too are having an amazing weekend! Next on the hop is the oh so fabulous, lucky to call her my friend, Dena Rekow! You can get to her by clicking the next button below!

TGIF 157 Tic Tac Toe Flowers, Pink and Pearls!

HAPPY FRIDAY!! We all made it, and this week we didn't blow away!!!

This week with TGIF Challenges we are playing and creating with a fabulous Tic Tac Toe! I quickly made my three in a row by going across the top!

I am so excited about this Share What You Love Suite and Bundle. This amazing DSP and Photopolymer stamp set will be released EARLY to you as customers TUESDAY!!!! The paper alone is amazing and it worked out perfect for this weeks challenge!

I made this great double gate fold card with a bit of a twist. When cutting my DSP for the card I somehow cut it at 5 1/4" instead of 5 1/2". So I made a nice Berry Burst Card Stock base at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4" to adhere the double gate fold to. I stamped the Mint Macaron wash look on the inside with Crumb Cake flowers and Gold Stampin' Emboss Thank You sentiment from the Love What You do stamp set. Then with the belly band, I used coordinating DSP and Vellum Card Stock. The nice Very Vanilla stitched Circle was stamped in a coordinating manner and added three of the Share What You Love Artisan pearls! A lovely bow of Very Vanilla Gold Metallic Edge Ribbon was the perfect touch!

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to see how you make your Tic Tac Toe
