Creation Station Specialty Paper Blog Hop

Happy Sunday! Hope you all are in good health and spirits! Our house has been humming with church and school obligations. I though things would get easier as they get older. Now I am just an underpaid taxi for my kids. Football is still in full swing for Wesley, we actually won our play off game yesterday!! WOOHOO Go Eagles. Wesley will get his first high school letter this season and I really couldn't be more proud. Today at church, Taryn will be helping our youth group lead service and worship... and Josh... Josh was diagnosed with asthma on Friday.
PHEW!!! It doesn't get any easier...

Today I am back with my Creation Station team! I couldn't wait to participate this month. One, because I had things already made to go with our theme of SPECIALTY PAPER and two because I have been a slacker and it was time to pull up my big girl pants and HOP! Today my projects are featuring the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP. If you know me, I love a good NON-Traditional Holiday card and this Specialty DSP is amazing! Let me you show you what I have created!

This time of year I am asked to do orders of Christmas Cards. I created this card for one of my orders and I just love the way that it turned out. With a base of Mossy Meadow and a mat of Polished Pink there is nothing traditional about these colors. The dies from the Whimsical Trees Bundle are cut from Mossy Meadow and Mint Macaron. They are the perfect accent with the holographic stripe that is die cut with the Tailor Made Tags Die from the Whimsy & Wonder DSP. My Polish Pink stamped deer from Peaceful Deer Bundle was the perfect added touch.

These great little blocks are 2" Wood Blocks that I snagged at Hobby Lobby! They are painted with a matte metallic silver paint then adorned with pieces of the Whimsy & Wonder Specialty DSP. I have used the Playful Alphabet Dies to create fun holiday saying on 4 sides of the cubes. Each side features a different pattern and theme! These are perfect for a mantle or shelf for the wintery season! I simply cut 1 7/8" squares of the paper and adhered them with a bit of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and embellished as I desired!

I am so glad that you stopped in today! I can't wait for you to see what my friend Elizabeth has created today! You can get to her by clicking the next button below!
