Happy Thursday! Can you believe we are going into our second weekend of July!? I sure can't! I was just telling a friend that I would like to have a reset button for this summer. It just did not get off to a great start. Hopefully we are at the tail end of that!
This months theme for the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop crew is Christmas In July! Some of us may be giving you sneak peaks for the new holiday catalog that goes live next month. Today I am showing you the Tidings of Christmas Suite! Lets take a look!
The Tiding of Christmas Suite is in our Annual Catalog and was one of my favorite suites to begin with! I love the earthy tones of the Tidings of Christmas Designer Series Paper. So it was one of the first suites I ordered when the catalog went live! Today I have a fabulous Christmas Card and Jumbo Gift Tag.
My card started with a base of Sahara Sand Card stock. It is nicely matted with the new Evening Evergreen (this color will be a go to come Christmas time). A nice piece of the Tidings of Christmas DSP is adhered to a Basic White layer of card stock. I have added a border of the Gold Specialty Metallic Paper. A nice square of Evening Evergreen was perfect for the Cherry Cobbler based stripe that is also from the Tidings of Christmas DSP. The Basic White Stitched So Sweetly die cut is stamped with Sahara Sand ink and accented with a stocking. It is made from Soft Succulent card stock and stamped in Evening Evergreen. I added a bit of the greenery from the Christmas Trimmings Dies in Evening Evergreen and the Gold Metallic Specialty Paper. It wasn't complete until I added the cute little bow that I colored with Cherry Cobbler Blends and accented with a Holiday Rhinestone!
Now onto the tag...
These Jumbo Gift Tags are so much fun to make. You can even make them into a gift card holder. This one started in a Cherry Cobbler card stock base. The Evening Evergreen layer is also stamped in Evening Evergreen using the star stamp from the Tidings & Trimmings stamp set. This is accented with a striped strip of the Tidings of Christmas DSP. I have added a Square Vellum Doily before adding the smaller border of the DSP. I have again used the Stitched So Sweetly dies to cut the Soft Succulent DSP. It is accented with a Cherry Cobbler label from the Tasteful Label Dies. I have layered up the ribbons used at the top of the tag for a bit of foof. The Sahara Sand label also from the Tasteful Label Dies is stamped with an Evening Evergreen sentiment and accented with a Cherry Cobbler stamped stocking on Basic White. The stocking is accented with a bit of Holly Leaves and another rhinestone from the Holiday Rhinestones. The top of the tag has Label Me Lovely punch that has been embossed with the Tasteful Textiles embossing folder! I have given you a broader look below!
