It isn't very often that I make two posts in the same day. However, I felt like today was an exception. I am loving this Home Décor SU Style Blog Hop! It is a great mix of talent showing even MORE ways to use our amazing Stampin' Up! Product!
This month I have gotten a bit festive again! This home décor project was rather easy. The great thing about these little 6 x 6 Wood frames that I found at Dollar General were a fun way to play with and showcase this DSP and Dies!
All you need for this project is your favorite Christmas DSP, 4" Paper Mache letters (I found mine at Hobby Lobby), 6" x 6" Wood Frame or Block, Modge Podge, Paper Snips and patience!!! I started by wrapping the letters in DSP. I chose to use Modge Podge because it dries to a hard clear finish. This is how I also adhered the Garden Green and Cherry Cobbler card stock to the wood. To embellish this piece I did not want to go OVER THE TOP. I chose a few elements from the Detailed Deer Thinlit Dies and brushed the Champagne Mist shimmer paint on them. My Reindeer looked a bit plain until I added the nice loopy Linen Thread bow!
Now onto the next! I can't wait for you to see what the amazing Rae Jean Holbrook has come up with for you! It will have you wanting a nice Pumpkin Spice Latte! You can get to her by clicking on the list below! Happy Tuesday!!!
