This week with TGIF Challenges we have an amazing Inspiration Challenge! I am not really a beach girl. I grew up in Southern California and spent my summers in Virginia Beach growing up. While the memories made will last a life time. Even as I got older I would rather be out riding the horse, dancing or watching a rodeo. Here is my take on this weeks challenge... I hope you enjoy!

You guys may take a look at this and say "What stamp set is the beach from?", I drew it! Yes... We don't want to discuss my art skills because sometimes I even surprise my self! After using the 2 1/4" Circle Punch to create a stencil for my sun, I started with the Cherry Cobbler Water Color Pencil this color is in the second assortment which is available NOW. I then moved down to Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry and Daffodil Delight! Then I put my Aqua Painters to work blending the sun. For the water, I have used Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay pencils, after blending with the Aqua Painters, I added a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to add some shimmer. My nice sandy beach was drawn with the Early Espresso pencil and Aqua Painters. I added some Basic Adhesive Backed Sequins. My nice Adirondack chair was die cut twice using the Precision Base plate out of Crumb Cake card stock, and then I added one more die cut of the chair using the Wood Textures DSP. This gives the chair dimension. I chose to heat emboss the sentiment in Gold over the sun. It is nicely matted onto Coastal Cabana card stock with a base of Lovely Lipstick!

Thank You so much for stopping in today! I can't wait to see what you create with this beachy inspiration!
