Inspire Create Share The Season of Gratitude

Happy Wednesday night, we are on the downward slope to the weekend! It is the first Thursday of the month which means the Inspire, Create & Share blog hop is in full swing!!!  This month we are featuring  My Paper Pumpkin The Season of Gratitude. I personally do not subscribe to My Paper Pumpkin but Terri Takashige was kind enough to share her kit with me so I could create this elegant shaker card for you!

Did you get to me by way of the amazing Jennifer Blomquist? If so, Welcome! I just love what she did with her Paper Pumpkin goodies! Now lets get to my card!

Obviously I have an obsession with sequins so this Paper Pumpkin kit was right up my alley! Terri was so awesome to have stamped some of the images onto Very Vanilla cardstock so that I could come up with something of my own! The I cut the leaf strip to an 1.75 Inch. I took the foam strips and made an area of sequins for each of the leaves. The background to my shaker was created using the crackle type stamp with Chocolate Chip ink on Very Vanilla card stock and then adhered to my shaker front. I matted this onto a nice rich piece of Delightful Dijon. My simple sentiment came from the Bunch of Blossoms stamp set. This was also stamped with Chocolate Chip ink to coordinate with my shaker. I accented the sentiment with a few sequins from the kit using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. To finish this simple yet elegant shaker I tied a Metallic Gold Twine Bow from the Bakers Twine Trio Pack!

Thank you so much for stopping by! You can start at the beginning by clicking next! Deb is sure to have an awesome card for you to see!
