OSAT Where the Wild Things Grow Blog Hop

Good Morning! Well it is morning at least! It is so cold here! I woke up this morning and we have no water, not sure if it is our pipes or our well at this point. Needless to say, it will be an interesting day!
This month the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop team is hopping with the theme "Where The Wild Things Grow", I have paired the Sale A Bration Bundle Berry Blessings with the coordinating Sweet Strawberry Bundle for todays amazing projects! Let's take a look.

My card started with inspiration from a recent Sale A Bration swap I created. The strawberries are stamped in Poppy Parade ink and accented with Pear Pizzazz stamped stems. The Basic White layer is stamped with Pear Pizzazz greenery and then I used the Stitched With Whimsy dies to give a bit more visual texture. The blue plaid like paper reminds reminds me of Bath and Body Works, or at least the boxes that their orders get shipped in. I used the Stitched So Sweetly dies for my sentiment that I have stamped in Pacific Point. The card is accented with a bit of Linen Thread and some clear Elegant Faceted Dots.

The mini album wasn't going to be for today, but once I realized how easy it was going to be, I quickly whipped it up to coordinate with my card. It has a pocket to hold memorabilia or pictures. You really can make it your own, so I chose to make some 3" x 3" cards that are matted with Pear Pizzazz for some cute little photos. I love how it looks like a little clutch! I actually stumbled on this tutorial on Pinterest and just had to try it. When I went back to get you guys the tutorial, it was gone! So I will try to make some measurements for you!

I can't wait for you to see what the rest of my friends have made with this theme! You can click along the list below for a full tour!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Good Things Grow Kit

Welcome to the March edition of the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog, a monthly hop that features alternatives ideas for each months kit!

This month we are hopping with the "May Good Things Grow" kit! This kit had some extra goodies because it also the 5 year anniversary of Paper Pumpkin! It came with some lovely wood embellishments that I am saving for something else... but this has got to be one of my most favorite kits!

I seriously could have ten of these kits! I have only take two pictures of the mini album I have created for you. One, because I didn't want to bog you down with a bunch of senseless pictures and two, I am going to be live today on my business page to show you each page... Hopefully my mom doesn't watch as this was made with her in mind!

I made a nice accordion spine using a Crumb Cake Card Stock. The two pages in the middle have usable pockets. I also made nice little pockets on the inside of each cover. Each page is a picture of me from when I was younger. My mom lost a lot of these pictures 6 years ago in a house fire. Somehow I have a bunch of theme, and what better to put this together for her for Mothers Day!

I can't thank you enough for stopping by today! You will find a full list of the hoppers below so that you are able to tour the whole hop!
Have a fabulous Day!

OSAT Kids Only Blog Hop

Good Morning!!! It is One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop time and we are hopping with a Kids Only theme. Of course this could also mean Back To School, so I am sure you will see some wonderful creations geared towards this time of year! Are you ready for school to start?? I sure am!

Did you get to me by way of the amazing Dena Rekow? Her creativity does not ever disappoint me! I can't wait to show you what I have made for you this month.

I honestly wasn't sure what DSP or what card I wanted to make, but I knew that I wanted to make a "Back Pack" as my 3D item. Taryn (my youngest daughter) has a dress that would coordinate with this whole ensemble, so I began creating with her in mind.

My Night of Navy based card with Daffodil Delight matte was perfect for simple yet delicate card. What better than a sentiment from Watercolor Words telling my kid that "You're The Best". I think they all need to hear it. I heat embossed this with the Stampin' Emboss White Powder and did a lovely Night of Navy Gingham Ribbon. I layered three water colored daisies from the Daisy Delight Bundle and gave it a nice little Metal Rimmed Pearl as a center. I adhere this with a couple little banners of the ribbon with a Stampin' Dimensional.

Adorable right? I made this cute little back with Night of Navy Card Stock but you will also notice I stamped it using Night of Navy ink with the Burlap Background Stamp to add some texture. This also has the Delightful Daisy DSP and Metal Rimmed Pearls. The great thing about this Back Pack is that it opens up to a fun little mini album. I didn't quite have time to adorn and embellish the pages yet but added some DSP so you get the idea. To fasten it shut I used some Velcro. The front small pocket is functional as well.

I am so glad you came by today! I will be posting the instructions on the backpack shortly so stay tuned!

Next on this hop is the amazing Kelly Acheson! You can get to her by clicking the next button below!
