OSAT Oh My Pumpkins and Pie Blog Hop

Happy Thursday everyone! I can't believe we are already in October and that it is already the second Thursday of the month can you?

It is time for the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop. This month our theme is "Oh My Pumpkins and Pie!". Did you get to me by way of  Renee Romain Ondrajka? That Pumpkin Pie she made with the Cutie Pie Thinlit was totally adorable! If you didn't get here by way of Renee make sure you check out her project!

You are going to see a few new designers this month Kayla McGinnisWendy Cranford and Lisa Altman! Make sure you make them feel welcome! I know that each of them are very talented!

Sometimes when I am creating for a hop like today's I know instantly what I am going to do... FALL IS A STRUGGLE FOR ME! There I said it! I mean, I want to TRY to do something I haven't done in the past! Well I think I nailed it... How many times can you say that you have seen me watercolor?? Maybe once... or twice, but that is irrelevant! I really went out on a limb with this month's card!

So when I think fall I think of pumpkins, scarecrows, and leaves changing colors! Well on this card I went for the trifecta! It all started with the pumpkin! Can you believe this plump cutie is from the fabulous Jar of Haunts set? I stamped it using the Basic Black Archival ink and heat set it so that it wouldn't bleed when I used my Aqua Painter to do my water coloring and of course I used Pumpkin Pie ink with our water color paper! Once it sat for a bit to dry, I used my paper snips to fussy cut it out. My scarecrow head is also water colored! He is from the Cookie Cutter Halloween set and I actually ended up fussy cutting his head and putting some Linen Thread fringe at the bottom to make it look like straw. I colored his nose with Pumpkin Pie Stampin' Write Marker before using my Aqua Painter with So Saffron ink and Wild Wasabi for his hat. When that part was all done I set it all aside and started with main part of the card. It is a Wild Wasabi card stock base with a So Saffron card stock matte. I used the Wild Wasabi and So Saffron from the Subtles DSP stack to create the strip across the bottom with my Linen Thread bow. My cute little fall leaves at the top were created using the leaf stamp out of the Perpetual Birthday Calendar Stamp Set with So Saffron ink. My sentiment? Oh yeah it is from the CHRISTMAS set Oh What fun!

My Cute coordinating Bag Tag will call it was made using the Jar of Haunts set! The Mummy was stamped in Wild Wasabi ink and cut with coordinating framelit. I didn't like the eyes, so added the googly eyes to make it more dimensional and spooky! I finished this little honey up with a strand of Pumpkin Pie sequins and my sentiment tag!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Make sure you tour the whole hop! It is crammed full of creativity! The creative Pam Staples is next on the hop! Her card is amazing! 7. Aww, thank you Andrea! I'm so happy to be on the blog hop this month. Your card and bag tag are just so cute! Watercoloring is tough, isn't it. I rarely do it myself, because it takes so much practice to do well. I wouldn't have guessed that you don't do it often. The pumpkin especially has so much depth to it.
