OSAT Blog Hoppers Spring Flowers

Well first thing is first! This is my first hop and many of you may not know me!
I am Andrea Tracy-Tucker. I live on the far eastern edge of Colorado about 10 minutes away from the Nebraska/Kansas line. I am a Stampin' Up! Demonstrator, a mother to 3 beautiful kids and wife to an amazing husband. I am the Co-Creator of the Facebook Group One Stamp At A Time Cards & More and with the help of Eva Bussom we are also having a monthly hop! I hope you enjoy our creations!!

With the hop theme being "Spring Flowers" I saw the opportunity to use a the new Petal Potpourri Bundle from the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog!! I started this card with a standard A2 Base in Melon Mambo Card Stock, Matter with a layer of Crushed Curry embossed with the Decorative Dots Embossing Folder. I initially had the idea of doing a flower pot card with these great flowers but I put a spin on the idea and glued the Chocolate Chip Flower pot to the Crushed Curry. I stamped the flowers in Melon Mambo, Real Red and Bermuda Bay and punched them out using the coordinating Flower Medallion Punch. I still felt as though my flowers needed something, so I stamped the centers in Crushed Curry and made some greenery using the same stamp in Pear Pizzazz and then fussy cut some "leaves". The 1/4 Cotton Ribbon and Note Tag Punch added the perfect touch to this great spring card and after all there is ALWAYS something to be thankful for!

Thank You! For stopping by to take a look! Hope you have great day!
