OSAT Clean And Simple Blog Hop

I am so glad this week is almost over!! I have been a bit stressed and under the weather with some recent happenings here at the home-front... I keep telling myself, "This too shall pass". It hasn't but I keep jumping back up and dusting myself off.

This month with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop were are hopping with Clean And Simple in mind! I was so excited to get my pre-order goodies to play with! I am so in love with the sentiments in the Lovely Friends Bundle that will be available to you on June 1st!

My rich colors in my creations today are Fresh Fig and Always Artichoke. They work really well together. The sentiment is stamped with the Fresh Fig ink with an Always Artichoke accent on the bottom corner. I used the dies to create the Gold Foil leaf and Flower. The flower was fun, it always hard to find the perfect color combo when layering inks but the Sweet Sugarplum was perfect with the Fresh Fig. I did a quick Gold Stampin' Emboss center and a nice border of Very Vanilla Lace Trim to finish this Clean And Simple card off.

You will notice a nice little pillow box that was made with the Eastern Palace DSP with a coordinating Very Vanilla Lace Trim. I made this with the Pillow Box Punch Board, unfortunately it is not available from Stampin' Up! but was certainly Clean AND Simple!

I am so glad you stopped by! Make sure you click the next button below to get to Megan Thompson! And if you ever get lost along the way, we all have a full blog list at the bottom!

Creation Station Urban Underground, Men are our Muse

Welcome to the first Sunday of the month!! We have had a fabulous weekend! The weather has been amazing and we have done our first mowing of the year! Today marks the one year anniversary of the Tornado. We haven't had a single severe storm yet. I am sure you all are knocking on wood!

This month with the Creation Station Design Team we are hopping with the theme "Urban Underground, Men Are Our Muse". I had the perfect samples from OnStage that I hadn't shared yet. Although the sets are not new in the upcoming catalog, I was able to use some new embellishments and paper!

So both images were water colored with the Watercolor Pencils. The top card is a nice masculine color scheme of Crumb Cake, Night of Navy and Whisper White.  The Hardwood is stamped at an angle. It was perfect for the Night Of Navy Gingham ribbon that will be available on June 1st. A few stars from the Urban Underground embellishments and a fun sentiment made with the Labeler set made this card ready for any rodeo including OnStage!

This great card also Crumb Cake but this time we have Dapper Denim and Tranquil Tide. You may recognize this DSP. It is from the Eastern Palace DSP. This DSP is so versatile and can be carried away from its "Eastern Origins" depending on how you embellish it! I also colored this pick up with the Water Color Pencils. I actually used the Blender Pen for the grass so that I could use Tranquil Tide. The nice Crumb Cake ribbon will be available to you on June 1st. This was the perfect Father's Day card using the Thoughtful Banner set.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I can't wait for you to see what Kim Van Diepen has cooked up for you. I ALWAYS love her work! You can get to her by clicking next below... Or if you would like to see the Sara Levin you can get to her by clicking "Back"!

Paper Craft Crew 240 Sketch Challenge

I am not exactly sure where the week has gone! It seems like after the kids are on spring break time just flies by... especially after we went to San Diego!

I am finally going to share my Display Samples for Stampin' Up! OnStage Local San Diego with you! It was very convenient when I saw this weeks sketch and realized that this Super Duper treat bag "went" with the sketch. After all a sketch is left to A LOT of interpretation and this time I was definitely not literal!

So I obviously had the Eastern Palace DSP! You will notice in future posts that I tried really hard to make it look non "Eastern". It is a very versatile pack of DSP that can be used in wide assortment of projects including this Super Duper treat bag! This was made using the Mini Treat Bag Dies. I just love the Dapper Denim, Lemon Lime Twist and Very Vanilla Combo. This would be great for a boys birthday party! The sentiment is stamped in the Dapper Denim ink twice! I fussy cut the whole sign first and then popped the "Super Duper" up with Stampin' Dimensionals after I fussy cut it too! A nice bow of the upcoming Lemon Lime Twist Ombre Ribbon was the perfect finishing touch!

Thank You so much for stopping by! I know the interpretation of the sketch is rather loose but it worked! I can't wait to see what you come up with!
