Stamp Ink Paper 115 Color Challenge

Happy Tuesday to you all! Stamp Ink Paper is back with a fun end of summer color challenge for you to play along with! 

Did you have a good weekend? We spent most of the weekend inside. We have had terrible smoke around here due to the fires in Montana and surrounding areas. Although, my intention to get housework done didn't really happen, my craft room is almost clean. 

Obviously after a 3 day weekend with the WHOLE family I was thinking wine when I went into my craft room yesterday morning!

I used the Shimmery White card stock to watercolor my Tag and Wine glasses from the new set in the Holiday Catalog called "Half Full". It was designed by Million Dollar Achiever Linda Bauwin, and of course a must have on my list. The glasses of wine are water colored with Soft Sky and So Saffron with the Aqua Painters. I added some Wink of Stella for sparkle. I decided to fussy cut the tag and color the grapes with So Saffron, however the leaves I used Always Artichoke with my Blender Pens. I used Basic Black Archival for all of my water coloring. The Tag is popped up over the abstract script from Background Bits in the Smoky Slate ink with a nice strip of the 3/8" Classic Weave Ribbon in Soft Sky to coordinate with the tags top that also used the same ribbon. I few silver Faceted Gems and this card was good to go!

TGIF 123 Color Challenge Soft Sky, Peekaboo Peach, Early Espresso

Oh thank heavens! TGIF!!! It has been a busy week for this chick! I can't believe that the kids have been in school for a whole week. Wesley is already trying to work the system, Joshua has stayed home due to some intestinal bug, and Taryn... she is easy!



I must say I was a little unsure of what I was going to pull off with this color combo... Then I remembered that I was due to get a package from Stampin' Up! and had that A-Ha moment!!



Unfortuantely you can't see the lovely Soft Sky Water Colored background, but it is there! I used the Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper to for my crinkled up strip across. I smooshed (yes that is the technical term) the Very Vanilla Lace Trim under it. The Linen Thread was just the right touch over the top. My cute little Cup was created with the Merry Cafe stamp set using Early Espresso ink on a piece of Soft Sky DSP from the Coffee Break DSP pack. The Merry Cafe actually coordinates with the Coffee Cups Framelit Dies so it was a must have. My cute little pumpkins in Peekaboo Peach are from the Pick A Pumpkin Bundle and were just right for this fall inspired card! A few faceted gems and I was done!
