Third Thursdays A Sweet Sale Blog Hop

Good afternoon and happy Thursday! This week has just blurred right by. I guess what they say about time flying by when we are having fun is somewhat true. If you call doing laundry and all the other fun domestic duties of being a Stay At Home Mom fun. The good thing is that I can run the laundry and dishwasher while stamping.
Today I am back in full swing with the Third Thursday Blog Hop! We are hopping with the amazing Sale A Bration items from Stampin' Up!. I am absolutely in LOVE with the Flower & Fields DSP!! The best thing about this amazing flower patterned paper is that you can get it for FREE with a $50 order! Who doesn't love free goodies!?

The creations I am sharing today are from an upcoming One Sheet Wonder class featuring the Many Messages Bundle. These great card feature a Flirty Flamingo card base and accents of Pool Party and Petal Pink Card stock with accents of the Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon. I have stamped the Many Messages stamp with Flirty Flamingo ink and used the coordinating die to cut the sentiments. This bundle is amazing because all you have to do is stamp once and cut once to give yourself a variety of die cut sentiments! I chose to accent the cards I am sharing today with the Pearl Basic Jewels. I have actually made 10 cards total with just one sheet of this Designer Series Paper but that wasn't enough!! These cards needed a cute little holder to sit in! I even labeled it with our Playful Alphabet dies!

I am so excited for you to see what Kim has made for you today! You can get to her by click the next button below!

Third Thursday Holiday Debut Blog Hop

Hey, Hey! It has been a grinding couple of weeks! Who knew that with fair being over that I would still  be having to deal with pig stuff and making sure that record books were done or corrected for State Fair!? Throw in a telehealth appointment with Joshua's Neurologist and maybe some kids bickering and I am glad that the first day school is in sight!
It has been a while since I have hopped with my friends on the 3rd Thursday Blog Hop, but what better a time that to show you some of our new Holiday Catalog goodies.. I have so many favorites in this catalog but for today, I am going to show you the Poinsettia Place Suite!

This suite is absolutely amazing. A stamp set and coordinating dies always gets me excited but throw in some Designer Series Paper and the Plush Poinsettia flocked vellum and this suite is to die for. The dies even coordinate with the Designer Series Paper and the Specialty Paper.

This card started with Early Espresso stamped images that are colored with Petal Pint and Soft Seafoam Blends and die cut with the coordinating dies. I arranged this on a Stitched Nested Label. This is layered over a wood patterned paper in the Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper. It is nicely matted with Sahara Sand card stock and sits on a card base of Soft Seafoam.

To coordinate with my card, I again used the wood pattern from Poinsettia Place. You will notice the Vellum pieces from the Plush Poinsettia Specialty. This box is perfect for gift giving!

I am so excited for you to see what the rest of the team has whipped up for you today!  Kim Fee is next, her designs are sure to inspire you! You can click the next button below to continue on the hop!

3rd Thursday May 2020 Sneak Peek Blog Hop

It has been a busy week at my house! I can't believe I have found the time to create! My craft room is a disaster along with the rest of my house! Such is life, and it will go on.
Today I am hopping with the 3rd Thursdays Blog Hop Team! As a team we had a choice between using retired goodies or giving a sneak peek. I chose the sneak peek because I know that we are all impatiently waiting to order all of the fun NEW stuff Stampin' Up! has to offer in the Annual Catalog! I have done a bit of a montage of new products with today's card! Let me show you what I have created!

Today's creation started with my Stampin' Blends colored Sunflower from the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle. I have used the Mango Melody Combo Pack and the Dark So Saffron to create a Bumblebee like color to coordinate with my Flowers For Every Season Designer Series Paper. This is nicely layered over a piece of the wood pattern In Good Taste Designer Series Paper and accented with a Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon bow. My Crumb Cake Stamped Jar is adhered over the ribbon with Stampin' Dimensionals and was the perfect place to add my sunflower. My sentiment from the Forever Fern stamp set is stamped with Crumb Cake ink on a layer of Whisper White. An accent of In Good Taste Elements was just the right touch. I have layered this onto a Mossy Meadow mat with a card base of our new In Color Bumblebee.

I can't wait for you to see what Kimberly has created today! You can get to her by clicking the next button below. Have a great rest of your day!

Third Thursday Coordinating Product or SAB 2nd Release

It seems so weird to hopping in the afternoon or even typing in the afternoon. Hope you all have had a great week. The Tucker house has been hit by sickness and Troy (my husband) was sick enough to volunteer to go to the doctors yesterday. He has a nasty upper respiratory infection that I think is residual from whatever cooties Taryn had last week! Needless to say, he has been home for two days. Hopefully to return to work tomorrow!
This month with the 3rd Thursdays Blog Hop Team we are featuring the new coordinating products and dies or the upcoming 2nd release of Sale A Bration products. I chose to design with the coordinating products with the Happy Birthday to You stamp set. Let me show you what I have made!

This great card started with a layer of So Saffron card stock that is stamped with So Saffron ink using the Breathtaking Bouquet background stamp. I have a bright piece of Flirty Flamingo card stock that is embossed using the Tufted Embossing Folder and a Whisper White strip with the sentiment stamped in Gray Granite. I have used my Stampin' Blends in Flirty Flamingo, Petal Pink, Soft Seafoam, So Saffron and Gray Granite to color the cake before die cutting it with the coordinating Birthday Dies. Unfortunately, you can't tell that I used Clear Wink of Stella on this... It is there though! This is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals to my card front. The mat of Flirty Flamingo was perfect to layer onto my card base of Soft Seafoam. A few Champagne Rhinestones was just the right touch!

3RD Thursday Sweet Treats Blog Hop

Happy Thursday afternoon, I hope you are all staying warm today. It is a bit of a blustery day here with no snow in site on the forecast. I need SNOW... I know I shouldn't say that out loud on the interweb and I am probably jinxing myself... but I NEED it!
I am back in full swing with the 3RD Thursday Blog Hop team. We decided to hop with the theme "Sweet Treats". I am so excited about this hop because I have created a fun little treat holder that holds some amazing chocolates! Let me show you what I have created with the Heartfelt Bundle and the Tags Tags Tags that carried over from our Holiday catalog.

These great projects are created with the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper. These are perfect for any Valentine in your life and I can't wait to share them this weekend with customers at class. I wanted to show you how well that the Tags Tags Tags set worked with this amazing suite! Every time a new catalog comes out I feel this panic of having to have it ALL. You do not have to HAVE IT ALL. Okay, so I also used the Heartfelt Bundle... because I could.

My card has a base of Flirty Flamingo with a mat of Real Red. I adhered a strip of the striped DSP 1" x 5" towards the bottom of a Whisper White layer. Then, I stamped the ends of the arrow in Flirty Flamingo and Real Red ink towards the top right. When I was creating the projects for today I stamped the tags in Flirty Flamingo. This stamp is so cool because it stamps all three tags at once and the dies cut them all at the same time too! I accented the tag with a Real Red heart die cut that is also in the Trio of Tags dies. Some Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle with Bakers Twine Bow and a rhinestone from the From My Heart Faceted Gems was the perfect touch. This is nicely layered over a Real Red stamped scallop heart from the Heartfelt Bundle and accented with a couple more From My Heart Faceted Gems.

Okay, now the treat holder... I actually made this before making the card. Kind of backwards in my creative process, but it all comes out in the wash, Right?! We are going to call this the Matchbook Treat Holder, So here is how this cutie is made...
  1. Cut Real Red Cardstock 3" x 7" and score on long side at 1/2", 3 1/2", 4"
  2.  Make sure you run your bone folder over those score lines real good
  3. Using Tear & Tape, Add a strip on the 1/2" flap and the opposite side. This would hold your cute little chocolates or treats in place.
  4. Use your Bone Folder again to make sure your treats are nice and secured.
  5.  Cut 2 DSP Pieces at 2 3/4" x 2 3/4", these will be on the outside.
  6.  Cut 3/8" x 2 3/4" strip to go on the flap holding the treats.
  7.  Cut 1 1/4" x 7" strip (this will be your belly band closure for the treat holder)  score on long side at 1/2", 3 1/2", 4"
  8. Adhere 3/4" x 7" coordinating DSP.
  9.  Wrap around and adhere with Tear & Tape.
Great little treat holder right? I have provided a photo of the inside below. I have accented this with a DSP punched heart and another Flirty Flamingo stamped tag from the Tags Tags Tags. A little bit of Polka Dot Tulle and this cutie was DONE!

I am so excited about this treat holder! I hope you enjoy it too! I can't wait for you to see what the rest of the gang has come up with. Next on the hop is Kimberly, and I can't for you to see what she has come up with! You can get to her by clicking the next button below or clicking the blog roll!

Third Thursdays Hello Holiday Blog Hop

Can you believe that it is already Thursday!? We are off to a watch Wesley play Football in Holyoke this afternoon. He came home from practice the other day telling me that he has decided to play Basketball as well... So it seems that the busy mom schedule will not have a lull after football is over!
Today I am back with the 3rd Thursday Blog Hop team designing cards with goodies from our new Holiday Catalog! I actually have two card classes this weekend using products from the new catalog so it was perfect timing!

This amazing fall themed card is created using the Gather Together and Coming to Gather Designer Series Paper. Would you believe that I designed this TODAY! After seeing a card one of our concept artists made, I asked her how she colored the pumpkins. Needless to say, this may be my new favorite technique! I simply stamped onto our Shimmery White cardstock and used my Aquapainter to move the ink around! My leaf was done with Early Espresso and the pumpkins were done in Cajun Craze, Gray Granite and Mint Macaron. This layered onto a gingham stitched oval with a few Cajun Craze thread loops. I adhered this over a Gray Granite Birch stamped background that is accented with the polka dot burlap designer series paper. A nice big bow and Pretty Peacock sentiment was perfect touch. This is nicely matted on Early Espresso card stock with a base of Mint Macaron!

I am so glad that you stopped in today to see my creation! I can't wait to show you what my friend Kimberley Morris has made for you today! You can get to her by clicking the next button below!

3rd Thursday Getting to Know The NEW Catalog

Have you ever had a week where no matter what you try to do or schedule you just can't keep up?! That would be the theme of this week and probably next week too! I feel like summer break is a gentle juggling act of doing what NEEDS to be done and doing what you want to do! My creative wheels have been a bit stuck lately... I over think my projects some times... well maybe not just my projects. So instead of working on stuff for my catalog launch yesterday afternoon... I took the kids to the pool. See!!! Even adults make bad choices!

Today I am back with the 3rd Thursday Blog Hop team! We are showing off some of the new goodies from the new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalog, I am sure at this point you have seen a TON of new goodies... This card kind of came together on accident! Sometimes accidents are happy accidents... Let me show you what I have created.

This card started with my Petal Pink Daisy!! Yes you read that right! My card started with a flower!!!! I used both size daisy stamps in the Daisy Lane stamp set. This set is bundled in the catalog with the Medium Daisy Punch. I have stamped this on Very Vanilla card stock! This coordinates nicely with the wood patterned DSP from the Pressed Petals DSP and the Very Vanilla Stitched Lace layer. I have adhered this to a nice mat of Soft Seafoam cardstock. I added a bit of the Petal Pink ribbon with a touch of Linen Thread. It is all nicely layered onto a Petal Pink card base. A heat embossed sentiment was just the right touch to finish this card off!

I can't for you to see what Kimberley has whipped up for you! You can get to her by clicking the next button below!

Happy Thursday!
