Stamp Ink Paper 76 Embossing Challenge

Happy Tuesday! I hope all of you had a fabulous Thanksgiving and didn't eat too much! I was just talking to Troy about left overs. Which I must say that most of them are gone except the Mashed Potatoes. I only used 4 more potatoes than I would for a regular supper and still have tons left over! So if you have a good recipe for left over mashed potatoes let me know.

This week on the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge we are challenging you to Emboss! So simple, right? You can either heat emboss or use your favorite embossing folder, we aren't that picky. Have fun with it, I will show you what I came up with...

I must confess it took 4 hours to get the card done... Stella couldn't get her groove back! Last week for our color challenge I had an idea that OBVIOUSLY didn't happen with the Merry Medley background stamp being heat embossed on the Very Vanilla... Well I don't always throw my ideas completely away! I instead re-purposed it... I used the largest stitched circle out of our Stitched Shapes Framelits and then layered it onto a Tip Top Taupe scalloped circle from the Layering Circles collection. I really wasn't sure what I was going to use to embellish this once I had inked up the Hardwood stamp with Mint Macaron. Reason for The Season was sitting next to me from last weeks card and I really hadn't used the poinsettia in it. So that too was inked up in Mint Macaron and the outline was done with heat embossed copper on the Very Vanilla. I used paper snips to fussy cut it out and adhered it with some Copper Metallic Thread loops with Stampin' Dimensionals. A quick little knot of the crochet trim and this card was done!

Thank You so much for stopping by I can't wait to see what you emboss for this challenge!
