A Little Cowgirl Paper Players 289

I can't convey my excitement when Justin Krieger told me that the Paper Players challenge this week is a western theme! It would be the equivalent of telling me to buy what I wanted at Michaels, Stampin' Up! or any other crafty location with an unlimited budget! Western is my lifestyle... So I really get over stimulated knowing that it is my only stipulation for a card...

I can't wait to show you what I have come up with! It is perfect for any occasion with a "Little Cowgirl" in mind!

So I broke into my secret stash of vintage DSP! I knew that I had the chicken wire  from the Beau Chateau pack. This determined my colors right away! Pink Pirouette and Soft Suede! It really isn't a far cry from my usual Blushing Bride stand by... I used Vintage Photo Distress ink on the edges of the Pink Pirouette and sentiment.  The Soft Suede strip across was embossed with a barb wire embossing folder I stumbled on from Cuttlebug. I am really saving the best for last on this card! Y'all are probably wondering how I made my shaker... Yes it is BURLAP real BURLAP! I found paper backed burlap at Michael's! First I used my circle framelits to cut the circle. Next I ran it through my Big Shot with my Boot die from Dies By Dave 3 times for it to cut all the way through. I adhered the acetate panel using Scor-Tape for my window of the shaker card... My Pink Pirouette stitched circle was created using Gina Maries stitched circle dies... I really love the quality of these dies and they are a fabulous price! My cute sentiment was made using the Stampin' Up Photopolymer set Yee Haw! I used the Washi Label Punch and fussy cut "Cowgirl" and adhered the little heart!!!
I really love the way this little cutie turned out!
Thank you so much for stopping in!
