Friday!!! Oh Friday!!! Happy New Year to you all! I am back at full strength and ready to go with this weeks TGIF Challenges! Our family has had busy break with Joshua's appointments at Children's. For those of you who don't know it looks like he may be having absent seizures. While I know that we are on the path to get answers it is still very scary for me as his mother to not know what is going on... enough about that!
I couldn't wait to design with the colors this week. It really isn't my week to submit, but I have been so absent lately and I decided to jump right in on this challenge!
My card was relatively simple to make although, I would still say that I designed it with the Casual Crafter in mind. I started with a nice Whisper White stitched rectangle from the Amazing Life Bundle! The sentiment is stamped with Smoky Slate ink. I added some accents of Melon Mambo and Lemon Lime Twist on the banner with my Blender Pens. I made clusters of the flower in the stamp set with Smoky Slate ink on the corners then colored them with my Blender Pens. I have accented these with silver Metallic Pearls and the greenish colored Basic Adhesive Back Sequins. This is nicely layered onto a Rectangle Stitched Lemon Lime Twist piece of In Color DSP. A nice mat of Melon Mambo Card stock on the Smoky Slate Card Base was just the right touch! A nice Silver Bakers Twine Bow was perfect to top it all off!
