OSAT Welcome To the Holiday Blog Hop

Can you believe that today is the second Thursday of September already?! Time sure is flying and it seems that my constant state of organized chaos is now my new norm!

Today I am back with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop team and we are hopping with all of our new goodies from the new Holiday catalog with the theme "Welcome To Our Holiday". I decided what better to use than the Harvest Hello's. Let me show you what I have created for your favorite teacher!

This great card features our Harvest Hello's Bundle! I have colored the apple with Poppy Parade, Light Petal Pink and Soft Suede Blends. This is nicely layered onto the Gingham piece of Shaded Spruce gingham DSP and accented with the Decorative Trim Border Punch. The Come To Gather DSP was the perfect piece to have this layered onto! I have fussy cut the sentiment that I have stamped in Soft Suede. A nice Bakers Twine bow was just what this apple needed.

I found the caramel apple lollipops at our Dollar General. I have taken a nice piece of Soft Suede Card stock and cut it  at 5.5" x 2.5", You will score it at 2.5" and 3". I have used the Come to Gather DSP to coordinate with the card. These are cut at 2" x 2 1/8" and adhered with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. I punched two holes on either side of the stick of the lollipop to tie the Braided Linen Trim. Another Poppy Parade colored apple from the Harvest Hello's bundle and a couple cute gingham leaves and this cutie was done!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to show you what else the OSAT Team has come up with for you from our amazing Holiday catalog! You can tour the hop by clicking the list below!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop Gift of Fall

Happy Thursday! Our amazing A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop team is back at it with this months kit "Gift of Fall". If my post seems a bit short, well it is going to be... Today is the first day of school for this house and I am busy trying to get my house clean because my Dad comes into town tomorrow!
I decided that before sending my samples off to the home office to get some pictures this time... I had plans to make something entirely different for this months hop. Time has not been my friend lately and it seems like I am putting out fires.

These great designs were created using the Gift of Fall kit. My card uses an amazing new stencil from the holiday catalog. I sponged the trees with Crushed Curry, Merry Merlot and Soft Suede. This is layered onto a piece of Pretty Peacock Mat and was on a rich base of Crushed Curry. This was accented with the velum pieces and die cut from the kit. A nice copper embossed sentiment with Linen Thread loops was just what this needed.

The treat bag is one of our gusseted bags. I wrapped some chocolates and made a nice insert of DSP. The tag is from the tags and more kit and was also accented with the velum pieces from the kit. I pillaged through my stash and made a quick little banner before adding my bow and copper clip!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! I can't wait for you to see the rest of the hop! You can check it all out by floating through the list below!

TGIF Challenge 226 Modern Heart Splatter

Happy Friday!!! Are you ready for the weekend!? The kids are not back at school until next week! The days are being counted...trust me!!! Wesley has a football scrimmage tomorrow! The kid is pumped for football this year. It kind of took me by surprise. He tends to always take the easy road, so I thought that after playing last year... this year was questionable. I am excited too, I like being the loudest mom there!

The TGIF Challenges has a fun and what can be messy challenge for you this week! The challenge this week is Splatter and we all know I love to splatter!

Confession time, this card has been made for a while now... I actually used it as a swap card when the Annual Catalog went live in June. Let me show you what I have made!

This card started with my Whisper White card front. I have found that using an old Aqua Painter with a mixture of Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Water is the best way for me to make my splatters. Once you have splattered this mixture you sprinkle what ever embossing powder you would like! I chose to use the Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder. You will want to be sure you use your embossing buddy when doing this that way the powder doesn't stick in places you don't want it to! A nice Gold Foil banner was perfect with this. The heart is also heat embossed in gold over a background of Flirty Flamingo this great stamp is from the Modern Heart stamp set. I chose to use the largest stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Dies to cut this out. It is adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals over the banner and some Whisper White Bakers Twine! The sentiment is stamped in Gray Granite and then also die cut with Stitched Shapes Dies. To give a bit more umph, I have added a few Metallic Pearls for some visual texture.

I can't wait to see the beautiful mess that you make for this challenge! Thanks for stopping by!!!

Paper Craft Crew 348 Harvest Hellos

HELLO!!!!! I am sure that many of you think that I have fallen off the face of the earth! Life has been consuming lately and while I have tried to work on stuff in my stamp room it seems like the business side of it all has been taking the front page.  Good news is that I will be having classes in Yuma starting in September!!! Not Arizona, Yuma is about 30 minutes to my west and I have been trying to find a venue for the last 3 years!!! Well, it happened!

This weeks sketch from the Paper Craft Crew is a bit like last weeks! So when you look at my card today and say "Hmmm, that looks like last weeks challenge", I designed it for last week but it works for today too!!!

I couldn't wait to ink up and use the Harvest Hello's Bundle! With 3 kids I have plenty of teachers I can use this bundle for! Today's card is my first design with it and I think it is adorable! Lets take a look!

I am sure that many of you have a stash of things that you have stamped with great plans of ideas, my Granny Apple Buffalo Check is one of those ideas that never came full circle. My Poppy Parade Apple is stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with Clear Stampin' Emboss powder. Once that was ready I used the coordinating punch to build my apple. A nice burlap banner from the Pressed Petals DSP coordinates nicely with my Linen Thread bow. I stamped a border of the seeds towards the bottom in Early Espresso ink. The Welcome Back sentiment is heat embossed in Stampin' Emboss White on Early Espresso then punched with Classic Label punch. To finish this card off I made a mat with Poppy Parade and set it on a card base of Granny Apple Green!

Phew! I can't wait for you all to get your Holiday Catalogs!! It is by far one of my faves!!!

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to see what you make for this weeks challenge! Have a great day!

Creation Station Stampers Gone Wild Blog Hop

Happy Sunday! Hope that you all are having a lovely weekend. The family and I ran out to watch the swine show yesterday at the county fair. It was really neat to watch these kids with their pigs and the judge taking his time to explain some of his reasoning for his placements. We were there for 5 hours!!! It was a long night!

The Creation Station team is back with a "Stampers Gone Wild" blog hop theme. We are creating cards with animals for you. It would have been easy for me to reach for the Let It Ride or Over The Moon stamp sets, but I wanted to challenge myself a bit and decided to be a little less predictable and use the Rustic Retreat stamp set.

This card started several different ways... but lets talk about the way it ended up! I chose to use the Rustic Retreat stamp set. I have taken the tree line stamp in this set with Mossy Meadow ink to create a border. This is a nice piece of Very Vanilla as is the Gold Heat Embossed deer. I added a touch of the pine on the top left with Mossy Meadow as well. The sentiment is stamped using Crumb Cake ink on Sahara Sand, then fussy cut to adhere to the stitched square with the deer. The Sahara Sand Pinewood Planks was great touch to for this masculine themed card!

Thank you so much for stopping by today! Next on the hop is Jeanna and I am sure you are going to love what she has created for you! Just click the next button below!

Ten Minute Tuesday Very Versailles

Happy Tuesday! Hope you all had an amazing weekend! We had a fun packed Wray Daze weekend! We enjoyed Family Night on Friday, Wesley was in a dunk tank (I have video to prove it!) and there is always amazing food choices. I chose to have Loaded Tater Tots from the Slawpy Barn... sooo good! After spending a couple hours down there we came home. The parade was on Saturday, I had volunteered to help with float check in, which meant being in town by 7 AM. All the kids were in tow because Troy inevitably got called out. We spent the rest of the day in town enjoying the festivities. Sunday was the day of rest, although Josh, Taryn and I went to Church.

Enough about my weekend, Today I am sharing a relatively simple card that I created in around 10 minutes! That is right 10 MINUTES!! I was so happy to see that the Global Design Project was a Case The Designer Challenge that was relatively clean and simple that went along with my 10 minute Tuesday idea!

If you haven't ordered the Pressed Petals Journal or DSP, DO IT! Both of these items are very versatile and I didn't realize until I had the journal that the pages were perforated so that they can be torn out easily to use for whatever you desire...
I chose a card front! Let me show you what I whipped up for you today!

My card started with a page from the Pressed Petals Journal. The page is a Very Vanilla color with Sahara Sand Script towards the bottom. I chose the largest of Rectangle Stitched Dies to die cut this and give it a bit more panache. When choosing my stamp set, I reached for the Very Versailles because of the similarity in styles. I inked up the leaf pattern with Pear Pizzazz ink and stamped it on the left side overlapping a bit of the script. The copper foil washi is from the Tags & More Accessory Kit. It was a nice added vintage touch. The sentiment fit well on the smallest circle in the Stitched Shapes Dies. I added this with Stampin' Dimensionals after tying the Linen Thread bow. A few gold Metallic Pearls and this card was ready for its Rococo Rose Base!

This card was so simple to make! I have created a full list below so that you can make it too!

A Paper Pumpkin Thing On My Mind Blog Hop

Happy Thursday! It is the last Thursday of the month and we all know what that means, the A Paper Pumpkin Thing Blog Hop is live with the On My Mind Kit. This months kit is amazing! So versatile and easy to use for anyone! I love that it coordinated with Verdant Garden, Woven Threads and the Sail Away Suites! It made it super easy for me to whip something up when the kids are yelling "Mom!" every 10 minutes.

Out of the three suites that this months kit can coordinate with I just love the Woven Threads! I actually didn't even reach into any of this suite but the Let It Ride stamp set was screaming to be on this card I have made for you today as my Paper Pumpkin alternative! Let me show you what I have made!

My card started with the blanket like pattern that coordinates with the Woven Threads suite. I have layered this over a Sahara Sand Rectangle Stitch Frame on a mat of Seaside Spray and card base of Pretty Peacock to coordinate with ink spot in the box. I have colored the horse from the Let It Ride stamp set and fussy cut it with my Paper Snips. The sentiment also from the On My Mind kit, is stamped on the gold foil edge label with Pretty Peacock ink and adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals. Once the sentiment was on I added the cute little banners on the top left. Then my horse was adhered with Stampin' Dimensionals as well. A nice little gold Designer Element was all the embellishing that this card needed!

Thank You so much for stopping in today! I can't wait for you to see what my friends have created for todays hop, you can click through the list below to get even MORE ideas!

Home Decor SU Style July Blog Hop

Happy Tuesday to you!! I hope that you all are staying cool with the miserable temperatures that have been around lately! I am so glad to see it back down in the 80's!

Today I am coming to you a bit later than usual... I am hopping with the Home Décor SU Style Blog Hop!! No theme, just a home décor piece created using our Stampin' Up! Materials!

I have made this really cute wall hanging using a 6" x 6" wood piece I stumbled on at Dollar General of all places! I have used Modge Podge to adhere my Crumb Cake card stock mat as well as my piece of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper! The Let It Ride Stamp set is definitely a favorite of mine and chose to use it with some fussy cut feathers adorned with the Bird Ballad Trinkets! The clothespins at the bottom are great for holding notes, card or whatever you would like!

I can't wait for you to see what else is on the hop today! You can click through the list below to see what everyone else is has created too!

TGIF Challenges 221 Christmas In July

Good Friday to all of you! I have been a bit absent this week. I was called on Sunday by my friend Amy's husband... needless to say it was not good news. Amy had passed away from cancer. Something she chose to not tell many of us close to her. I believe she did this with good intentions. She wouldn't have wanted any of us constantly checking on her or to be sad. She would have wanted us to be all our sassy selves! I am going to miss her like crazy, 20 years of friendship doesn't just go away...

I was finally able to sit down and make a card yesterday. I had the intentions of making more than one as I wanted to do a blog hop yesterday. Time nor the outside temperature was my friend. This week with the TGIF Challenges Design Team we are creating with a Christmas In July theme!

With the new Annual Catalog only being live for about a month, Christmas Cards or even the theme have been the least of my worries. When looking at my stamps to create today's card for you, I didn't have very many options! Making Christmas Bright was one of my favorite stamp sets from our 2018 Holiday catalog and I was soooo happy to see it make a return! Let me show you what I have made!

This card started with a layer of Real Red card stock. I have stamped the star pattern at the top right for just an added something. I have nice piece of Granny Apple Green gingham paper from the Brights DSP pack. This has a strip of Real Red card stock with a layer of Real Red DSP. I have taken the Scallop Tag Topper and Granny Apple Green card stock to make a cute little tag by stamping the Christmas light pattern on it with Granny Apple Green ink. My 2 1/4" Circle was perfect for the circle pattern in this stamp set. This is heat embossed in White Stampin' Emboss Powder. A nice Pearlized Doily was just the pop I was looking for when layering this cutie up. I have fussy cut the sentiment and adhered it with Stampin' Dimensionals. Some White Bakers Twine, Polka Dot Tulle and a few Glitter Enamel Dots and this card was done!

I can't wait to see ALL of your Christmas creations!
Have a fabulous day!

TGIF Challenges 220 Sketch Challenge

Happy Friday! Do you have big plans for your weekend? We are heading down to the south east corner of Colorado to celebrate Mr. Tucker's birthday!! It will be fun for sure. The kids will finally get to see the new Toy Story, we plan on hitting the pool and having a game night. The possibilities are endless though!

This week with the TGIF Challenges we have a sketch for you! You can get all the details by clicking below!
I went a bit abstract when interpreting the sketch this week. I had plans to use the design I started for a sketch but when one of my Stampin' Blends ran out of ink   (couldn't get the replacement in time to finish my swaps) I decided to go a different direction, which left me with 21 one of these Good Morning Magnolia stamped using the Wild Rose Dies to mess with... Let me show you what I have for you today!

No matter what I tried while taking pictures I felt like I couldn't get a good shot. The card started with a piece of Thick Whisper White Card Stock. I used the Good Morning Magnolia stamp with Early Espresso ink. It is nicely matted with Early Espresso card stock and Pool Party card base!
Then I chose to use the stitched label like die from the Wild Rose Dies. I only colored what was on that die cut. I have used the Rococo Rose and Old Olive Blends combo's to color the flower. I have accented it with a bit of a Light Pool Party Shadow and Light Crumb Cake Center. It needs a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to set it off! A bit of Linen Thread, Copper Heat Embossed Sentiment and a few pearls and this beauty was done.

Thank You so much for stopping by today! I can't wait to see all the different interpretations that you come up with this beautiful sketch!

OSAT Down at The Farm Blog Hop

Happy Thursday! Two days of blog posts in a row, who knew?! Spent a couple hours at the pool yesterday with another demonstrator friend before coming home to let the cable guy fix our play room cable... a day early! Who does that?! Aren't the cable guys usually late? I am not being ungrateful, but he texted me at noon asking if he could come in the afternoon. I have had plans for a month to go to the pool yesterday with Janet!! So I told him he could come at 4 pm! Troy came home, we did some grilling and chilling and I fell asleep in the recliner... again.
This month with the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop our theme is Down On The Farm. We try to leave it up for interpretation. You may see farm animals, gingham, and of course a farmhouse chic style. I chose to go with the farmhouse chic direction with Country Home and a little bit of Daisy Lane! Lets take a look...

My card started with the piece of DSP. This great piece of DSP is from the Pressed Petals Specialty Designer Series Paper!!! I know, I know, I am using the HECK out of this paper. It is that versatile!! With the wood, burlap and flowers in this paper pack, not to mention 24 sheets it is an amazing paper to have in your stash! I used Basic Gray ink to stamp my cream can onto the new Fluid 100 watercolor paper and used the Basic Gray Water Color Pencil to assist in watercoloring it. This is nicely layered over a strip of wood patterned DSP also from the Pressed Petals pack and a piece of lace that I have "ruffled" using some tear n tape! A few Pear Pizzazz springs and a Rococo Rose Daisy from Daisy Lane and this part of my card was done. I chose the "Simply Thankful For All The Good Things" sentiment from the Country Home stamp set. It is heat embossed using the Stampin' Emboss White and has a nice pop to it! This is nicely matted onto a piece of Rococo Rose, with a small accent on the top right corner and a Sahara Sand Card Base.

I chose to do the pillow box because it was easy and they are darling! I have wrapped a piece of the Pear Pizzazz that has been embossed with the Corrugated embossing folder, a cute little border piece of DSP and some more lace! My box is empty so I can do as I please!!

Thank You so much for stopping in today for the One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! I can't wait for you to see what the rest of my friends have come up with for you! You will find the full link list below! Happy Thursday!

Paper Craft Crew Designers Choice

Happy Wednesday to you all!! I would be lying if I told you that summer break has gotten in the way of my creativity and time to blog. I feel like if I have time to create, I don't have time to blog, or if I have time to blog, I am exhausted from keeping the kids busy! LIFE!!! Life gets in the way and it is okay and so far the kids haven't made me lose my mind...YET!

I must confess... This card was made for the TGIF Design Team but after having company for the 4th and a lack of sleep, I was lazy and didn't post it... So when I realized that this week with the Paper Craft Crew had no rules... I realized my card was already made! BONUS!!! I am not the girl who usually likes to double dip when it comes to challenge but I have provided a link below to the TGIF challenge as well!

http://tgifchallenges.blogspot.com/2019/07/tgifc219-color-challenge.html

I know that many of you are in frenzy waiting for the Purple Posy Classic Stampin' Ink Pad to come out... There is a quality issue that Stampin' Up! wants to be sure is remedied before offering it to all of you... I chose to sponge the ink with the Rococo Rose and Seaside Spray and created a fun ombre like background! The hinge step with my Stamparatus is by far my favorite technique! I took it a step further by heat embossing it with Stampin' Emboss Silver. My cute little cake was colored with our Blender Pens and sets on a stand of Smoky Slate. This is adhered to a stitched circle of Velum and adorned with the Woven Thread Sequin Assortment. A nice fluffy Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle bow was perfect for the final touch!

I can't wait to see what you create without any rules!
Hope you have an amazing day!

Creation Station Got Your Back Blog Hop

Happy First Sunday of July!! I hope those of you in the United States had a fabulous holiday this week! We were blessed to have Troy's cousin and kids stop in on their way to the Grand Canyon from Iowa! Our kids have such an amazing time with them. I have been a bit on the down low lately, with last weeks grueling schedule and company coming over this week, I had to focus on my domestic duties...

Today I am creating with the Creation Station Design Team. We creating with the "Got Your Back" theme! The idea is to showcase the background stamps in the catalog! I took the opportunity to mix up two for you! Let me show you what I have created!

This card started in a bit of a different way! I had been working on swaps and had some extra layers of Crumb Cake card stock that had been stamped with Soft Suede ink using the Birch back ground stamp! Today I took it a bit further by running it through with my Pinewood Planks embossing folder to add some texture! I also had a piece of Very Vanilla stamped with Soft Suede ink using the All Wired up background stamp. If you have the chicken wire of years ago, don't look at this and say "I already have it..." It is much smaller in scale compared to the old one! So you do NEED it! After adhering this to the wood, I added this to Pear Pizzazz, I had a bugger of time getting it straight, so I rolled with the wonky layer idea! My To A Wild Rose Flower is stamped twice with Petal Pink ink and has a Soft Suede outline. I chose to use Pear Pizzazz for the leaves. A bit of Linen Thread was the only thing suitable for this card. A Stampin' Emboss Copper sentiment and some of the new Designer Elements were just what this card needed to be finished off!

I can't wait for you to see what Elizabeth has made for you today!!! You can get to her by clicking the next link below!
