The Paper Craft Crew 204 Sketch Challenge

Wednesday!!! We are almost over the hump! I got the kids all registered yesterday at school! I still can't believe that my oldest will be in middle school!

This week at Paper Craft Crew we have a fun sketch for you to
Play along with!! I kind of ran wild with this sketch but as soon as I figured out in my head what I was doing it really did come together nicely!

So the muse for this card as it came together was the Serene Scenery DSP! It has a lovely aqua wood sheet that I really can't get enough of! I added to the wood using the Timeless Textures distressed wood like stamp using Bermuda Bay Ink! This too is what color the base of my card is. I then did a matte of Pool Party to coordinate with the DSP. The Whisper White is stamped using the Touches of Texture with Crumb Cake ink,Timeless Textures in Pool Party and Bermuda Bay. I also used the same colors on my Gina Marie Stitched Banner! Although, the Pool Party is heat embossed (I have a stash of retired embossing powders) and a I sprayed some Heidi Swapp White Color Shine to give it a shimmer. Before adhering the banner to the card I ran a strip of the burlap down the edge of my DSP. I then used some Stampin' Dimensionals to adhere the banner to the card. The Gold Foil Butterfly was the perfect touch on this card! I really wish Stampin' Up! would have some more word thinlits! The Hope is from the Sunshine Wishes set. I cut this from Bermuda Bay Card stock and made it sparkle using Clear Wink of Stella! I couldn't leave this card alone, so added some Pretty Pink Posh Sequins!

Thank You so much for stopping in! I can't wait to see what you all come up with!

Stamp Ink Paper 58 Lisa's Sketch

Hey there and Happy Tuesday! I am off to help at school registration this morning! Usually this takes me out of summer mode! Still have a few adventures that we would like to have before that first school bell rings!

This week with Stamp Ink Paper team member Lisa Altman has designed a fun little sketch for us to play with!

My card started with a base of Mint Macaron with a lovely matte of Crumb Cake! I used coordinating DSP from  Affectionately Yours and tied a quick strand of Mint Macaron Striped Ribbon across. I used the Tags & Labels Framelits to create my "tag" with the sentiment from Suite Sayings! The Bow Tie Paper clip seemed to be the right touch. I had some left over wood hearts from the Spring Occasions! I think I put them to a really cute use!

Fun and Simple! Not always something you see from me! I can't wait to see what you come up with!

Have a fabulous Tuesday!

Paper Craft Crew Challenge 203 Sketch

Hey there and welcome to another week of The Paper Craft Crew!! We have a really fun sketch this week and I can't wait to show you my card!!

I couldn't believe how this card came together!! My base of Flirty Flamingo and Basic Gray seemed to be just the right color combo to go with my Heido Swapp paper! I interpreted the sketches angle with my angle of the flowers on the paper! I decided to use my retired Stampin' Up! Bundle called Chalk Talk!
I stamped the black with Whisper White craft ink and then used Flirty Flamingo to Stamp the cute little sentiment!

Stamp Ink Paper Challenge 57 Black and White

Good Morning! Running a little behind this morning... I usually type up my post the night before however, my stomach wasn't on the same agenda I was... I can't believe the kids have their school registration next week! This summer seems to have just flew by!

This week with Stamp Ink Paper we have a fabulous Black and White Challenge that our team member Carolyn Lindenmayer concocted! It really was a lot of fun!

This great card started with an A2 Base of Basic Black card stock! I used the NEW Gina Marie Designs Stitched Rectangles to cut my My Minds Eye Cut and Paste Papers and adhered them to the base cockeyed! On the Glasses paper you will notice that I used the Basic Black Thick Bakers twine with a cute little bow at the top! My fabulous glasses were cut out of Black Glitter Paper using dies from My Favorite Things! I adhere the glasses using the Foam Strips from Stampin Up and then adorned them with rhinestones! My sarcastic sentiment at the top is something I stumbled on in a Facebook selling group... It is from Unity Stamp Company and is from the "Consider Yourself Vintage" set! To give this card the final touch I added some black enamel dots and rhinestones!!

I can't wait to see all of your Black and White cards!!
Have a great day!

OSAT Shabby Chic Blog Hop

Hey there and happy Thursday! It is the second Thursday of the month and we all know what that means!! It is OSAT Blog Hop Time!!! It also happens to be Mr. Tucker's Birthday!!! I am so excited to tell you that my barn has made it!!! Literally just minutes ago!! Are you so excited?! I am!!!

This month for our hop theme we have chosen a Shabby Chic theme! I just can't wait to show you what we all have made... Did you see Justin's projects?? Were they not adorable??? Make sure when you are done looking at my little lovely's that you tour the WHOLE hop!!!

So I can't lie my burlap wreath has been wrapped for months! I just couldn't decided what I wanted to do with it... I guess I figured something out! I adorned it with some spiral flowers, lace and a cute little butterfly adorned with a cream rose from the Artisan Embellishment Kit from last year!

The card started with a base of Pink Pirouette. I used the New Stitched Rectangles from Gina Marie on my Mint Macaron layer and Chicken Wire layer! I really just can't get enough of these dies and the price point is amazing! My Pink Pirouette stamped Rooster from Unity Stamp Company is on a Stitched Circle from Gina Marie as well with some cute little Pretty Pink Posh sequins to accent. The cute little banner with the sentiment is also on a Stitched Banner from Gina.... See, I told you I loved these dies! To finish this card off I added some linen thread and crochet trim with a cute little vintage button at the top!

Thank You so much for stopping in! Jeanna Bohanon is next! Her creations are always amazing!

Paper Craft Crew 202 Tic Tac Toe Challenge

Happy Day! Welcome to my post for this weeks Paper Craft Crew Challenge!
I am happy to say that my barn is on its way as we speak! Kids have started their second session of swim lessons and I feel like our summer is going to be gone before we know it!

This week we have a great little Tic Tac Toe for you to play with! I gladly made three in a row going down on the left side. Buttons, Linen Thread and a Die Cut or Punch!

I really love the way that this card turned out! I knew I wanted to do a shaker with the heart from the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and I must say it really came together nicely! I tried to not use the A little Foxy DSP again but I could resist the temptation! The Calypso Coral card base was nicely matted with Smoky Slate! I cut the Heart on the left side and created my shaker area using the Smoky Slate wood Grain behind the Calypso Coral of the same pattern. The new Foam Strips are something I will no longer be able to live without! I took a piece of Whisper White and inked it up with Versamark so that I could use the Heat & Stick! Once I got it all sticky I sprinkled Dazzling Diamonds on it to create my own glimmer paper of sorts. The cute little flower to the right is made using the Sunshine Wishes thinlits as well! I cut it twice out of Pool Party and gave it a lovely little center with a clear faceted button with a Linen Thread bow! I wasn't sure what to do for a sentiment but once I saw the Love sentiment in the same die set I quickly cut it out of Smoky Slate card stock and heat embossed it twice with clear embossing powder! I couldn't leave it with no sequins! My great little assortment of Pretty Pink Posh and Fancy Pants sequins were the perfect touch!

I can't wait to see what you come up with when you come play with the Paper Craft Crew!

Stamp Ink Paper 56 Christmas In July!

Hey there and Happy Tuesday! Guess what?! It is going to be like Christmas here tomorrow... My NEW Barn will be here!!! I am so excited because I am also going to get stampy time with the lady responsible to introducing my to card making Diane Moyle!

This week with Stamp Ink Paper we have a theme!!! It is Christmas in July and I am sure a few of us would like to have some snow right about now!

My card is a mix of many brands this week! I have used the Bo Bunny Altitude Paper as my source of inspiration for colors as well as the paper for my card. I have used the amazing Gina Marie Scallop circle frames to create my lovely little "snowglobe" shaker! My fabulous tree Stamp is from Unity Stamp Co. The lovely sequins are a mix of Pretty Pink Posh, Stampin Up and some random ones found at a local craft store! If you close I clear embossed my Merry Sentiment twice and put some fabulous silver thread loops behind the shaker! The card base is Blackberry Bliss with a matte of Silver Foil....

Stamp Ink Paper 55 Sketch Challenge

Good Morning! I hope that my followers in the US had a fabulous 4th! We here at the Tucker house watched fireworks, went swimming and cleaned house! Troy had to work... Harvest!

This week we have a fabulous sketch for you to play along with! You can get all the details on by clicking the image below. I can't wait to show you what I have done!
My anniversary was Saturday and I had ever intention of giving this card to Troy! We celebrated 11 years of marriage and frankly this card was perfect for the man that is ALWAYS in jeans, boots, a long sleeve shirt and a cowboy hat! Well, that idea went to crap when I had a craftastrophy that included my WHOLE counter/work space move!!! Ink pads everywhere, Gatorade on a stack of paper and finished cards.... INCLUDING this one! So... Mr Tucker didn't get his card! I will make sure I post the pictures of my mess and my somewhat clean craft room after I get you the details of the card!

The card started with a base of Sahara Sand. The Chicken Wire embossed panel is in the new Dapper Denim! It seemed to fit the theme as well as being a fabulous masculine color! I have a whole stash of October Afternoon Sasparilla papers. That is where I found this great stripe! I cut this with the Gina Marie Stitched Rectangles! The cute little pocket is made using the Richard Garay Lumberjack Days Pocket Stitch Dies with Dapper Denim card stock.... Who can resist this great little denim pocket? I used a white gel pen to add to the stitching! I tucked in some cute little ruffled burlap into the pocket like a handkerchief. The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Company it is called Tiny Grained Banners! It fit so neatly on my Gina Marie Stitched Circle! I finished this card off with some great little gold sequins from Pretty Pink Posh!

Okay... Here is my mess

But look what it made me do!!!

It is almost done!!!

Thank you all for stopping in!!! I can't wait to see your challenge cards!!
