Stamp Ink Paper 41 A Wedding Themed Challenge

Happy Tuesday! School is back in full swing today and this Stella is getting her groove back in the craft room!
This week we had an amazing Wedding theme challenge and I can't wait to show you my card!!!

This fabulous card starts with a striking base of Basic Black. I then used my Gina Marie stitched rectangles to cut this layer out. I just received her new stitched scallop frames and could not wait to use them for this fabulous shaker! The background of my shaker card is Whisper White card stamped using Pool Party ink with the I love lace background stamp... The sentiment was created using our greetings Thinlits and Perite Pairs!

I can't wait to see what you all come up with! Have a fabulous day!

Stamp Ink Paper 40 Lisa's Tic Tac Toe

Its it is a beautiful Tuesday! I am a year older as of yesterday! Thank You to all my friends who wished me a happy birthday!

This week we have a fabulous Tic Tac Toe Challenge that was created by our design team member Lisa Altman! I really had to work at making my three in a row!
My 3 in a row is Get Well, SiIver and Ribbon or Twine!

My card started with a base of Bermuda Bay Card stock the next two layers are actually from the same sheet of 12 x 12 Shine on Specialty DSP! I layered these cuties up and did a quick strip of the Metallic Glitter Tape that you can earn FREE with a $50 Stampin' Up! purchase! I got these REALLY adorable Coffee dies by Sugar Pea Designs! I made a quick little coffee cup and stamped "Feel Better" from our Sassy Salutations stamp set. The lid is also made using the tape! I did some quick metallic thread loops behind the cup, used some Pretty Pink Posh sequins and BAM! Done!

Can't wait to see how you make your three in a row! Have a fabulous day!

Stamp Ink Paper 39 Gingers Sketch

Hey there! It is beautiful week on the plains! This momma has recess duty all week! The things I do to be involved in my children's education!

Team member Ginger Pelfrey has designed our sketch this week. I must say that my plan came together super fast!

I could totally lie to you and tell you this card took HOURS! It didn't though... The concept really came about pretty easy once I looked at the sketch (for three days). Really trying to use colors that are not my usual aesthetic and decided to use the Elegant Eggplant, Always Artichoke and Very Vanilla! The offset rectangles I initially did like your layers when Triple Time Stamping. I then matted them with Elegant Eggplant and popped the top layer up with Stampin' Dimensionals. For the banner in the sketch I tied a cute little knot of linen thread. My lovely sentiment is from the Greetings Thinlits set. I cut this twice so that it popped up more. I then inked the die cut with Versamark so that I could sprinkle the Gold Stampin' Emboss powder on and heat emboss it! I adhered this to the card using our two way glue pen! Justin has truly rubbed off on me... I added a few Pretty Pink Posh sequins to finish this card up!

OSAT Spring Has Sprung Blog Hop!

It is the second Thursday of the month!!! We all know what that means! OSAT Blog Hop time!!
I am so excited to have a Christine Pennington this month as a guest hopper! Make sure you stop by her blog and say hello!
This month's theme is Spring has Sprung! We have had some amazing Spring like weather here on the eastern plains of Colorado! I really think the kids love it too because they are able to go outside and play!
I promised you all yesterday that today's card would NOT be a shaker! I have to tell you though, I have had this card done for two weeks... Do you know how hard it was to keep this beauty a secret?? I actually was on FaceTime with Dena when I was cooking this one up! Glad I had her as go too!  She is pretty amazing! Now lets get to the details...

SEE!! It isn't a shaker card! This is a Double Gate Fold!
There is a really amazing tutorial for the double gate fold card on Split Coast Stampers...
I used the lovely Wildflower Fields DSP from the Stampin' Up Sale-A-Bration catalog with a coordinating belly band to keep the card closed. This card is different than a lot because the base is actually paper instead of card stock. The band was made using a strip of the coordinating DSP! I used the Fun Frames embossing folder on Lost Lagoon card stock and then fussy cut it using my Paper Snips! My next little layer I made using Old Olive card stock. I simply punched out the banner twice and set them aside while I worked out the label! I chose to use the Choose Happiness stamp! I used the Stampin' Write markers in Blackberry Bliss and Old Olive to create this lovely Bracket Label! Once I had my Dimensionals ready, I did some quick Gold Metallic thread loops to add some sparkle! This band just slides right off... The inside layer was made with matte of Lost Lagoon card stock. I stamped the branches from the Choose Happiness stamp set in Old Olive ink. The adorable little bird was made using Lost Lagoon ink and used my paper snips to fussy cut him out so that he can sit upon the branch at the bottom! Blackberry Bliss sentiment was the perfect touch!

Now this little mini can be made in MANY ways! You can find templates and tutorials on Pinterest!
I wanted it to to coordinate with my card so of course I used the same DSP as the card! You can embellish these or do stamped layers! I even created a couple pockets!

Thank You all so much for stopping by! Next is Lori! I can't wait for you to see the lovely spring creations she made up for you! Have a great day!

Grateful Blooms

Happy Wednesday! I am making up for my slacking behavior last week!
Taryn is on the mend and it appears to me that our horse is too! I have to be honest I had made this for a hop and decided with everything that went on last week that I couldn't participate!
I put this really amazing shaker card together and I can't not share it!? I know yesterday's card was a shaker as well... But the bug has bit me! Now I know why everyone loves them!
Lets get to the card!!

I recently purchased My Minds Eye On Trend 2 Paper Collection! I just love the colors in these paper but somehow wanted to interpret it in my own Shaker Card Stampin' Up! way! My fabulous card started with a base of Night of Navy! I used the Gold Fancy Vellum stripe for my layer! The shaker back ground is our sadly retired Brushed Gold Card Stock. I mounted this with two layers of foam tape behind my acetate panel! When cutting out the flowers I actually cut out a bunch in different colors... But the Melon Mambo seemed to be the one I zero'd in on with it's lovely Garden Green greenery from the Botanical Builders framelit set! I came up with my own mix of sequins using two mixes from Pretty Pink Posh, Seed Beads and the Stampin Up ones from the Love Blossoms embellishment kit! The "Grateful" sentiment came from the Seasonal Framelits. This was die cut out of the Brushed Gold card stock to coordinate with back ground of the shaker window!
So glad you all stopped by! I promise, tomorrow's card is NOT a shaker!
Have a Great Day!

Stamp Ink Paper 38 Enjoy The Fuss

Happy Tuesday! We all know what day it is!? That's right!!! Stamp Ink Paper Day!! We've cooked up an amazing color challenge for all of you to create something fabulous!

I can't wait to show you my oh so adorable shaker card!

This little cutie was made using a base of Sahara Sand. My matte was made with Blushing Bride. The fabulous polka dot came from the It's My Party DSP stack. I made my shaker using Blushing Bride card stock and ran it through my Big Shot with my Chevron embossing folder. Baby's first framelits came in handy when I decided to NOT do flowers! My sequin mix is a seed bead, Pretty Pink Posh and Stampin Up blend. My cute sentiment came from the Big News set and I punched it out with the washi label punch. A nice satin ribbon trim and I was finished!! Hope you love it!

Fab Friday 82 Color Challenge

Hey guys! Happy Friday and all is starting to look up here at that Tucker house!
Taryn seems to be on the mend but still has a nasty cough! The horse is out on pasture today with all of her pony pals... All in all things are looking up!

I was so excited to see the new challenge for Fab Friday this week! I love to use the Subtle colors and this just fed into my addiction! I can't wait to show you what I came up with!

Click Here for All Challenge Details

This beauty started with a lovely base of Blushing Bride card stock. I chose to use Crumb Cake as a neutral to matte my Mint Macaron Hard Wood stamped Very Vanilla. I also made the strip across with Crumb Cake and added the Mint Macaron Dotted Lace trim at the bottom. I folded our doily just over the edge and adhered it to my card with my adhesive runner. I knew that I somehow needed to incorporate the Pool Party. Fortunately I still have both the Blushing Bride and Pool Party embossing powders! They sure came in handy on this card. I used the Butterfly Basics stamp set and stamped the butterflies using Versamark ink. Then,(Obviously) I heat embossed butterflies in Blushing Bride and Pool Party on the Very Vanilla card stock.  The Big Shot with magnetic base got to come out and cut out these lovelies! I attached them to my card using Stampin' Dimensionals! Now, what is a card without a sentiment? The Expression Natural Elements Celebrate was the perfect to make this card! I adhered this using our great Fine Tip Glue Pen... My finale? Sequins of course!!! I used Pretty Pink Posh Sparkly Clear and the Blushing Bride ones from the embellishment kit in the Occasions catalog!

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a Fabulous week!

Stamp Ink Paper 37 Wood Cork or Felt

Hey you all I am really sorry I am late with this post!
This week has not been an easy one! I have Taryn my 6 year old with influenza and horse who has had colic for two days!! I am so lucky that Justin understood!!
This week with Stamp Ink Paper we are making cards featuring Natural Elements! Wood Cork or Felt!

This elegant card started with a base of Soft Sky with a quick matte of Very Vanilla. The Ball Jar paper is from Carta Bella Rustic Elegance! I also used the wood pattered paper from the same collection! The cute little banners seemed to fit my Rustic Elegant theme! I found these at Unity Stamp Company embellished the center one with a wood heart! The gold heat embossed sentiment is from Stampin' Up! Big News!

Have a fabulous day!
