Stamp Ink Paper 32 Valentine Tic Tac Toe

Hey there! It is Tuesday and we know what that means!!! Stamp, Ink, Paper DAY! Sorry for no post yesterday. I have been fighting some sort of intestinal virus! Although, it could be the over excitement from the BRONCOS winning!!!!

This week Sandy Mathis has created a fun Valentine Tic Tac Toe that I am sure you all will be able to play!

So for my Tic Tac Toe I started on the bottom left and went diagonally up! So Patterned Paper, Love and Hearts! The great thing about this card is there was NO STAMPING! Yes you read that right! I absolutely LOVE the Carta Bella Rustic Elegance collection from last summer! Justin had sent me some of the collection from Scrap-A-Latte. After receiving the paper, I decided I needed a mini hoard of it and most of everything that went with it!
So lets get started! I started with the base that Mint Macaron card stock base. I distressed the edges with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The Heart Patterned paper was matted onto Early Espresso Card Stock. I also used the Vintage Photo ink on the edges of the patterned paper as well! The cute little crochet trim and bow are of course from Stampin' Up as well as the wooden "Celebrate"! The "love" was from the Rustic Elegance Ephemera pack! I added some dimension to this by using Dimensionals and a matte of Blushing Bride!! To finish this card I used the cute little roses!

Have A Great Day!

Stampin Friends Lots of Love Blog Hop

Hey there, hi there, ho there! It is the third Thursday of the month!!

Can you believe that we are already almost through our first month of the year? I sure can't!
Welcome to our January Stampin Friends Blog Hop! If you aren't familiar with Stampin Friends it is an amazing group of paper crafting friends who are oober talented and I feel so luck to be on this hop with just a handful of them!
If you came by way of Siara Acdal I just loved her creations!!
She is one of our guest hoppers! Along with two lovely ladies below! Make sure you check them out!
Siara Acdal

I really struggle with Valentines Day... First of all I don't like Hearts.... Don't ask!! But somehow I have Heart stuff LOL! Second... I have been married 10 years folks its a monotonous holiday!
Now let me get the details on my creations below!!

The whole package of the card and my project came together so easy for a girl who really doesn't like Valentines! The super cute Love Blossoms DSP Stack was the choice for my colors... I made my little banners on the left with that stack using the Banner Triple Punch. The base of the card is Garden Green with a great contrasting layer of Blushing Bride (Yes! AGAIN!!). Whisper White is the base of the DSP stack so stuck with it to use for my stamped image. The Bloomin' Love stamp set is a very versatile set! I stamped the heart from this set using Blushing Bride ink. To add a little dimension to this I used the "My Valentine" sentiment with Versamark and Gold Stampin' Emboss powder. The great assortment of sequins is from the Love Blossoms Embellishment kit! I just love everything in this kit! I adhered these using our Fine Tip Glue Pen. For the final touch I took a gold tone heart paper clip and strung the Blushing Bride Sequins on it and clipped it up on the top left!

My coordinating Fry Box was one of those "See I told you it would work" moments on FaceTime with Justin Krieger! Now this isn't just any burlap... It is from a stack I bought at Michael's that is paper backed! I had a square of it in front of me and decided to try it out! IT WORKED! I used sticky strip to adhere the sides as well as the lovely Blushing Bride flower trim from the Artisan Embellishment kit from last year! I filled a 4 x 6 Cellophane bag with some chocolates and nestled inside my Fry Box while I created the tag. The tag was made using our Scallop Tag Top punch. I then adhered a gold foil heart again from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit. To keep it somewhat simple I stamped the "Love You More Than Chocolate" sentiment on the smallest Deco Label and adhered this to the heart using Stampin' Dimensionals. It was still to plain for me.... Sequins fix everything! So I used the same mix that I used on the card, tied some gold cord around the cellophane bag with the tag attached and VOILA!

I hope love my goodies!! Don't forget to comment #SFJanHop on each blog for a chance to win our BIG giveaway! See the details below! Next is Sarah! I can't wait for you to see what she has created! It is sure to be super fab!

    Every Breath is a Gift

Well we have made it to Wednesday! I have a kiddo home sick today with a nasty cough!
This week is a really busy week for me creatively! I am getting back on my creative roll!

I knew as soon as I saw this paper what I wanted to do! However, I had to order the stamp set first!
This week Can You Case It has a fabulous Black and White Challenge so.... Challenge accepted!

Click Here For Full Challenge Details

My card started with a base of Basic Black with a lovely layer of  DSP that has the dandelions all over it! It is from this years Sale-A-Bration with Stampin' Up!. So I managed to get it for free! The stamp set is from one of my favorite designers Phyllis Harris! She has a fabulous line of stamps through Unity Stamp Company. This set is called Every Breath!  I stamped this image using the Basic Black Archival Ink. I used Gina Steimels stitched rectangles to die cut the image. The Basic Black matte is just about an 1/8" wider/longer than the stitched rectangle.  I wasn't sure what to do with sentiment or where to put it! So simply stamped it on to the Whisper White and used my 1 3/8" Circle punch. I rubbed the edges with some black ink, made a few metallic thread loops and adhered this to the top left corner using Stampin' Dimensionals! I knew the card needed something, so I used some Sparkly Clear and Charcoal sequins from Pretty Pink Posh!

Thank you So much stopping by today! Can't wait to see you tomorrow!

Stamp Ink Paper 31 Birthday Challenge

Well we made it through Monday!! The kids and I are all sharing a cold it seems! After all sharing is caring! Am I the only one with Christmas stuff still up? Justin thought I was crazy when I told I waited until Super Bowl Sunday to take it down... THAT is why I have an artificial tree! In all honesty it may be down this weekend...

This weeks theme for Stamp, Ink, Paper is great! It is a Birthday themed card and who doesn't need a good birthday themed card! Our design team came up with some real cuties! Make sure you click on the picture below to get all the challenge details. I can't wait to show you mine!

Of course when I knew that Birthday was the theme I knew I wanted to use my It's My Party DSP! Once I picked the star pattern I took off running! The card base is made using Stampin' Up! Melon Mambo card stock with a Basic Black matte. The tag is something I had in my stash... The stamp is from Unity Stamp Company. It is called "Damn You're Old"!! Now you can stop laughing! There are those friends and or relatives that deserve a card like this! If you know me.... I am one of those friends! I stamped this in our Basic Black Archival Ink and colored it in with our Melon Mambo, Basic Black, and Daffodil Delight markers. I even used a little Gold Wink Of Stella on the flames! I die cut the cake and the black circle behind it using the Circle Framelits. The sentiment was stamped using Versamark ink with the White Stampin' Emboss Powder. I actually made this little banner myself using the Banner Triple punch and a Fiskars Spring Hammer Punch. I tied this to the tag with Mint Macaron and Black Bakers twine and adhered it with a Stampin' Dimensional. I also adhered the circles with Dimensionals. Now what is a Birthday with out a little confetti?! Well my enamel dots are my "confetti" and finished off this card just right!

I hope you love my cake!
    Happy Birthday Card Making!!

    Big News Baby!

Happy Monday! How about them Bronco's? They totally eeked one out!
The kids are off school today and I am going to be a busy bee in my craft room until hair appointment time!
As many of you know I am a very active in the kids school and serve on our accountability committee. Recently one of our other committee members had a baby girl and I of course was asked to make a card for this amazing event!
The sketch for this weeks Freshly Made Sketches was the perfect layout!

Click Here for Full Challenge Details

Obviously It is a girl! What girl doesn't like pink?
The card base starts off with a lovely base of Blushing Bride! I think that this years Occasions Catalog caters to my fond addiction to this color. I then used some of the Birthday Bouquet DSP that I hadn't used yet! I took a quick little layer of Blushing Bride to matte my Whisper White. I stamped the the sentiment from the set "Big News" in Blushing Bride ink on to the Whisper White. To achieve the shape on the top right I wrapped some linen thread across the top with a linen thread bow! I added a cute little flower from our retired Artisan Embellishment Kit! Freshly made and rusticly cute!

Thanks for taking a look today! Have a great week!

OSAT Blog Hoppers No Rules New Year

Happy Belated New Year!! Welcome to the 2016 One Stamp At A Time Blog Hop! Melissa's  creations always amazes me!! It really helps that our hop theme is "No Rules New Year"

If it is your first time touring our hop let me give you a little bit of background! One Stamp At A Time is group of over 3000 SUPER FABULOUS card making friends on Facebook. Well we decided to get a group of our Super Fabulous Members and create a blog hop for you to enjoy!

This year we have some AMAZINGLY talented people and I am so happy that they said YES! So be sure to to tour the WHOLE hop and show all my creative friends some love!

With absolutely NO RULES I really start to overthink things! I mean I am usually a shabby chic, barbwire and lace kind of girl! Well, this is anything but that! I'll give you the details below...

So I did things a little bit backwards this go round. I made my project first. Last year for my birthday I bought myself the Pillow Box Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers. I made this little cutie using a 6 x 6 sheet from the Go Wild DSP Stack! Seriously thinking to myself "Andrea?! Why haven't you used this sooner??" I then wrapped a 1 1/4" strip of of coordinating DSP as a band. I then took my 1" Stitched Satin Watermelon Wonder and ran in lengthwise to tie a cute little bow... No Joke 10 minutes on this cutie and I think they would make fab little favors.

Now of course the card HAD to coordinate! I am a matchy, matchy kind of girl. This card starts with a simple base of Basic Black card stock. For my next layer I used Watermelon Wonder card stock. Again, the DSP is from the Go Wild DSP stack. Of course I stuck with the animal print theme. I also took a 1 1/4" strip the width of the card. The Watermelon Wonder ribbon wraps around the card stock and the matte. I then used my tape runner and adhered this to the card base. I have really enjoyed our set Friendly Wishes which obviously my sentiment came from! My Versamark got to come out to play along with my White Stampin' Emboss powder and of course my Heat Tool! Once this was all done I took it to the Big Shot with my Chalk Talk Framelits. Now that this was cut out I adhered it to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals and what tag isn't complete without a bow?! So of course I used the 1" Watermelon Wonder one last time! The Sequins are a mix of Stampin' Up and Pretty Pink Posh Strawberry Burst and the Fine Tip Glue Pen is the best with these.... PHEW!!!!

I want to thank you so much for stopping by! Now for a trip down under to Bruno Bertucci! You can get there by clicking the button below! I am sure he is going to have a lovely creation!

    SIP 30 A Color Challenge

Hello it is Tuesday! I must confess that this 24 Day Challenge is going quite smoothly!
I have a really busy creative week this week and I need to be in my craft room A LOT!!!!

Since it's Tuesday guess what day it is? Stamp Ink Paper day! We have fabulous color challenge for you this week and I can't wait to share my creation!!

Click here for full challenge details

This card starts with a Rose Red base! I honestly have to say that this is only the second time I have used this color and I am not sure why. The matted layer is a combination of the Gold Fancy Vellum adhered to a Crumb Cake base. I then ran a piece of Very Vanilla card stock through the Big Shot with the stitched rectangle dies from Gina Steimel! I then stamped the "Happy" as well as the background. The number stamp from Number of Years was stamped using the Rose Red Ink and then die cut it using the Big shot and Magnetic Base. I did a few quick thread loops to stick behind and adhered sequins using the Fine Tip Glue Pen!

Happy Confetti TGIF 37 Sketch Challenge

Hey there and good Monday to you!! Today is day 1 of my 24 Day Challenge with Advocare!
So I am a bit hangry! Everyone have a good weekend?

I must say that when I saw the TGIF Sketch for this week. I knew exactly what I wanted to do!
Again, we all know that a sketch is totally up for interpretation. I took this sketch and flipped it... You can get all the details for the challenge by clicking the photo below!

Let me get you the details on my card...
Click Here for Full Challenge Details!

This fabulous card started with a base of the sadly retired Pistachio Pudding. I knew I wanted to use Gold as an accent. So I dove into my stash of vintage DSP and found this lovely gold lace print from the Gold Soiree Specialty DSP. I then took Whisper White and used the largest Gina Steimel stitched rectangle die to cut it out. I just love the way the stitched died give the cards a more finished look. The stamp set I used is from Unity Stamp Company. It is called Bright, Happy, You. I simply stamped the rose in the bottom right corner with Pistachio Pudding. The confetti look is part of the stamp I used. I added more just using the edge of the stamp! My Versmark marker came in handy to fill in some of the white places in the rose so that I could heat emboss them with gold. I used the soft gold sequins from the Hello December 2015 accessory kit along with 4 mm Gold Pretty Pink Posh sequins. I just love the sentiment! "Throw Happy around like Confetti because Life is a Party"... This too was stamped with Versamark ink so that I could heat emboss it in gold!!

I really love the way this card turned out! Thank You so much for stopping by! I'll see you tomorrow!

    Must Have Coffee...

Happy Friday!!! Who needs coffee??? I know I do! This week has been a blur and the weekend isn't going to be much different! Kids have a church activity tomorrow and mommy is going to be glued to the TV to see who the Broncos will play next weekend!

So my rush of creativity has continued and today I am going to participate in my first ever Freshly Made Sketches challenge (you can click the link below to get more details)! My card is a little bit of old mixed with the new! I know you are going to like it!

My card started with a fun base of Calypso Coral. I am absolutely addicted to the Corrugated Paper in the Annual Catalog! I attached my Very Vanilla layer to the Corrugated Paper. The Very Vanilla was stamped using the new Timeless Textures stamp set with the retired Baked Brown Sugar ink. That is how I made my cute little coffee rings, I then stamped the coffee cup from Perfect Blend onto the DSP (it is from my retired stash) and then Very Vanilla card stock. I fussy cut the cup out of the Very Vanilla Card and cut the belly band out of the one I stamped onto to the DSP. Then I adhered the belly band onto the cup with my 2 way glue pen and attached it to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals. The strips at the top of the sketch were made using the Corrugated Paper. I rounded the corners on these with my Envelope Punch Board. I wrapped the Calypso Coral Seam Binding Ribbon around to add some color. The sentiment is also from the Perfect Blend. I used the 1 3/8" Circle to punch this sentiment out. Then I simply sponged around the edges, attached this with a Dimensional and popped on a couple of the enamel dots from the Holiday....

Thank you so much for stopping by!
    Have a great weekend!!

    A Glimmer of Hope...

Good Thursday to you all! I must say that I have been on creative rush lately... I truly sat down yesterday and cranked out two cards before lunch. It is amazing what a clean craft room does for you!
Kids are back in full swing at school. Next week I start my Advocare 24 Day Challenge. I have decided that this is MY year spiritually, physically and creatively.

I am really trying to branch out and do more challenges. I find that many push me outside of my own box. Some give me that "AHA!" moment where I know exactly what I am going to do!
Today I am joining in on the Paper Craft Crew Card Sketch #176. This sketch really inspired me. I know that sketches are all about personal interpretation and I can't wait to show you my take.

This fabulous card starts with a Lost Lagoon Card Stock base with a lovely matte of Crumb Cake. I cut the Very Vanilla with a stitched die from Gina Steimel they are unfortunately out of stock until February but are a great buy at $10! I then stamped the Definitely Dahlia with Lost Lagoon on the left side. I trimmed the diagonal stripe of the Gold Fancy Vellum 3/4" x 5" to put on the left side of the card. To finish this look I wrapped the Lost Lagoon Satin Stitched ribbon over the vellum with a cute little knot on top. For the bottom right "Embellishments" on the sketched I simply stamped "Hope" from the Watercolor Words set with Versamark ink and heat embossed the Gold Stampin' Emboss powder. What card isn't better with sequins? I found these great sequins in our Hello December 2015 Accessory kit, It added just the right bit of sparkle!
Thank you so much for stopping by today!

    ICS Blog Hoppers Let's Sale-A-Brate

Happy hump day to you! Just two more days til the weekend!
I am so excited to be hopping with the ICS team this month... I must admit when you see what is in the Stampin' Up! Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Catalog you are going to die!

If you got to my blog by way of Jen Guarino, Welcome!

This month's hop is dedicated to our Occasions/Sale-A-Bration Catalogs so lets Sale-A-Brate!!

This month I went out on a limb and did a project too! If you follow me regularly I tend to do a project with most of the hops I participate in.
I knew that I wanted to use the Birthday Bouquet DSP out of the Occasions Catalog. I just love the colors used in this DSP. My card base is Mossy Meadow card stock. I matted the floral DSP with Blushing Bride. I then took the corrugated paper and cut it 1 3/4" x 3 3/4" and wrapped the Blushing Bride satin ribbon from the Love Blossoms Embellishment kit and adhered it with the Liquid Multipurpose Glue to the front of the card. Next was my sentiment. I made this using the Rose Wonder Bundle. I stamped the frame with Blushing Bride and the sentiment with Soft Suede. My Big Shot got to come out and play to cut out the label using the die from the bundle with the magnetic base. To give this a more vintage feel I sponge daubed Soft Suede ink around the edges. I knew I wanted to use flowers for this. Somehow the Flower Shop Bundle kept creeping its way back to my work space. I stamped two flowers, One in Blushing Bride and the other in Mint Macaron. I of course used the Pansy Punch to cut these out. To coordinate with the label I also rubbed the edges of the flowers with the Soft Suede ink. I then brushed on clear Wink of Stella on the stamped image. You can kind of see the sparkles below...

Thank You so much for hopping with us tonight! Make sure you tour the whole hop! I can't wait for you to see what Deb has cooked up for you!

Stamp Ink Paper #29 Sketch Challenge

Happy New Year!!! Hope you all have survived the holidays!! The kids went back to school today... The silence is deafening!
I am so excited to have a guest designer Dena Rekow with the SIP Team this month!! She's a fabulous talent and I am so excited to have her with us.
This week we have a lovely sketch created by our design team member Carolyn Lindenmayer and I can't wait to show you my take on it!

This great card started with a base of Pacific Point (I know, be surprised its out side of my usual). With a lovely matte of Tangerine Tango. The school lined paper is from our School House DSP. I used the EK Success Spiral Bound Border Punch to give it more of a "Real" look. Two of my three banners were also made using our School House DSP. These were glued on using Stampin' Dimensionals so that I could run my Daffodil Delight Bakers twine underneath. The large circle was cut out of the School House DSP with our Circle framelits. The 2 3/8" Scallop Circle was punched out of Daffodil Delight Card stock. The sentiment is from the new Occasions Catalog it is called You 're So Lovely. This was stamped using Pacific Point ink to coordinate with base of the card. To me the card didn't need a whole lot of embellishing. So the cute little wooden arrow was to point you towards your adventure!
I can't wait to see all the different interpretations of this sketch!!
    Happy Stamping!
