Paper Craft Crew 219 Sketch Challenge

Good Morning! We are half way there my friends! It is almost Friday! I can't wait for the couple inches of snow they say were are going to get. To celebrate I will be making Chicken and Noodles!

Today I am designing with the Paper Craft Crew design team! We are on challenge #219 and have a fun sketch that I know you are going to LOVE! I will say that I really didn't take this one literally! Come take a look...

I knew when I saw the sketch I needed to get of my Christmas bubble that I have been in since Halloween was over! Wait! Who am I kidding? More like September. Anyway, I wanted to do something a little edgy. Well if this isn't edgy I am not sure what it is...

The card started with a Melon Mambo Card Stock Base with a quick matte of Basic Black. My Whisper White layer began with the small spatter stamp from the Swirly Bird and the polka dot from the Work of Art set in my Melon Mambo ink. Then I inked up the chevron and dot from Work of Art in Basic Black to add to the fun funk of this card! The Fabulous Foil Designer Acetate was a great accent in the small Gold dot. I cut this with a stitched circle from the Stitched Shapes Framelit Dies and adhered it to Basic Black scallop circle from the Layering Circles set. The Melon Mambo onesie was created using the once bundled Something For Baby and Baby's First Framelits. Of course I had to add a cute little black flower! When this was all put together I cut the "Congrats" twice. Once in gold and once in black. I layered them up and adhered them to the onesie. For my few final touches I added some quick little loops with black and gold metallic thread and tied a quick bow of Melon Mambo Thick Bakers Twine and Gold from the Bakers Twine Trio!

I hope you love my fun take on this sketch! Please remember you don't need blog to participate in our challenges! You can post from anywhere on the internet... even Facebook!
