Stamp Ink Paper 28 Anything but Christmas Challenge

Hey there, welcome to our final Stamp Ink Paper challenge this year! Long time no blog!! Have you recovered from the holidays yet?? We had a quiet Christmas to ourselves! The kids made out like bandits with clothes!

I honestly could not wait to make something NOT Christmas themed, and basically had no rules with our challenge this week. I am very excited about the Stampin' Up! Occasions catalog... By far one of the best in a long time!

This card started with a base of Watermelon Wonder card stock. I then matted the Pretty Petals DSP with Very Vanilla Card stock. I just love this stack! I then wrapped the 1 inch Stitched Satin
Watermelon Wonder ribbon around the layer and adhered it to the back of the Very Vanilla with Liquid Multipurpose glue.I set this layer aside after making my lovely bow! The Rose was cut using our new Precision Plate. This too was Watermelon Wonder card stock. To give the rose some dimension I heat embossed it twice with Clear Stampin' Emboss powder. The two way glue pen seemed to be the smartest way to adhere this to my Very Vanilla circle (I used our Circle Framelit Collection to cut this). I adhered this to the card using the Stampin' Dimensionals. The sequins are also from our 2016 Occasions catalog. They are in the Love Blossoms Embellishment kit. I used the Fine Tip Glue pen to adhere these sporadically around the rose. For the sentiment I used the photopolymer set Bloomin' Love! I stamped the banner part in Old Olive to coordinate with the DSP and the word Friend was in Watermelon Wonder. This too was adhered with the Stampin' Dimensionals!

I hope you love the way my card turned out!!!
I can't wait to see what UN-Christmas Card you come up with!!

Stampin Friends It is a Holiday Hop

Welcome to the December Stampin Friends! Blog Hop!
If you got here by way of Lisa Altman, I just love that crafty girl! She is one of my bestest friends I have never met.
I am so excited to have three amazing guest hoppers this month so be sure to show them some love!!
The kids managed to have a snow day on Tuesday and the only thing that I accomplished were Candy Cane reindeer! I just can't wait for Christmas! It is honestly my favorite holiday!!
I recently received my 2016 Occasions Catalog Pre-Order from Stampin' Up! My card for this hop is going to show you how carry over items from the Holiday will work with items from the 2016 Occasions Catalog.

My card started with a standard A2 base in Pear Pizzazz Card Stock with a lovely matte of Blushing Bride.... YES it is my favorite color! The beautiful stripe is from a DSP in the 2016 Occasions Catalog and is called Birthday Bouquet. I then cut the strip of our Corrugated Kraft Paper. The Blushing Bride Satin Ribbon is from the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit. I then heat embossed our White Stampin' Emboss powder on Pear Pizzazz card stock using a stamped image from the Peaceful Pines bundle. My big shot and magnetic base went to work cutting the tree above as well as the trees on the tags below. I finished this card with some sparkly enamel dots from the above embellishment kit, a cute little linen thread bow and the lovely "Christmas Cheer" sentiment stamped in Pear Pizzazz ink.

As I said above these lovely little trees were made using our Peaceful Pines bundle! I stumbled on these cork tags believe it or not at Walmart... I can't find them now though, so check out Michaels because I found more there LOL! I used Cherry Cobbler ink for the sentiments...

I can't wait for you all to see what Tina has made for you! She is next! Don't forget to tour the WHOLE hop for our fabulous giveaway!!!!

Thank You for stopping by!

Stamp Ink Paper 27 Thank You Challenge

Hey there! Happy Tuesday! We are currently on a Winter Storm Warning... It sound exciting but it is not. I am really excited....NOT! I am all about a "White Christmas"... But lets get through this week first... My little miss gets Student of the Month today! She has not a single clue. I can't wait to see her face and share pictures with you all!

This weeks challenge we are stepping away from the holiday themes! You can thank me later...WAIT! The theme this week is "Thank You"... I can't wait to show you what I made using goodies from the Stampin' Up! Sale A Bration Catalog and 2016 Occasions Catalog that will be available to the public January 5th, 2016!

When I started this card I knew I wanted to use the new It's My Party DSP! This stack has 48 double sided sheets of some really great patterns and not all are birthday themed. The base of the card is Mint Macaron and with a matte of Sahara Sand to coordinate with the DSP. I fastened my twist of Bakers Twine in Mint Macaron and Black around the sheet of DSP before adhering it to the Sahara Sand Card Stock. The sentiment "Just For You" is from a set out of the Sale-A-Bration catalog which means you can earn this for FREE by spending $50 dollars! The set is called Botanicals For You and I LOVE this sentiment! I took a piece of Basic Black scrap card stock using Versamark ink and stamped the sentiment. I then used our Stampin' Emboss White powder and used our Heat Tool. Once that was done I used our largest Banner Framelit to cut this in my Big Shot on the Sizzix Magnetic Base. I then went wild with the It's My Party enamel dots , added the twine bow and adhered it to my DSP with Stampin' Dimensionals. "...Because you're so nice" is also from the Botanicals For you and was my final touch to this card. I stamped this in Mint Macaron ink on Whisper White card stock and then used our Banner Triple Punch to do the end. I used a couple mini glue dots to fasten it.... Boom!!! Done!!!

Can't wait to see your "Thank You's!

OSAT Blog Hoppers End of the Year Thank You

Happy Wednesday!!! Welcome to our last One Stamp At A Time Blog Hoppers hop of the year! Did you just come from Dena's?? That chick is amazing!!!

This month we are saying "Thank You" for our gifts!
Speaking of gifts, are you done Christmas shopping? I am nearly done with the exception of a few stocking stuffers and maybe something for Mr Tucker!

It has been rather somber her lately. Just before Thanksgiving we lost one of our furry friends! Our Emmy dog was around for all 3 kids as babies... I think my youngest misses her most! She was the best dog ever!

Well... Look what I have!! You guessed it! I am giving you a sneak peak into the new 2016 Occasions Catalog from Stampin' Up! I am not going to lie, I may need a lawyer soon! The stuff in the catalog in is AH-MAZING!!!

Here is the details! The card starts with a base of Tip Top Taupe with a lovely matte of Pear Pizzazz. The Whisper White Card Stock is stamped with Hardwood using Sahara Sand ink. The leaves are cut using the new Precision Plate with my Big Shot. The set is  called Rose Garden Thinlits. They were cut out of Pear Pizzazz card stock and adhered using the 2 Way glue pen. The Rose is from the same die set. I cute this out of our Blushing Bride card stock and adhered this with the 2 way glue pen as well. The circle and sentiment are also from the new Occasions Catalog it is called You're So Lovely. I used Blushing Bride ink on the circle and Tip Top Taupe on the sentiment. There is a really great embellishment kit in the new catalog as well. It is called the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit. The sequins on this card are from the kit as well as the Satin Ribbon around my bakers box. I adhered the sequins using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. I finished this card with gold metallic thread loops behind my sentiment and adhered this to the card using Stampin' Dimensionals.

Now with the Bakers Box.... Like I said above the satin ribbon is from the great embellishment kit. I wrapped this around our Corrugated Kraft Paper and tied a simple bow. I adhered the "Thanks" Wood element using the Fine Tip Glue Pen. To add some "Foof" I added some the Blushing Bride Sequins, Tip Top Taupe Lace and Satin Ribbon with a clothes pin to the top! BOOM!!!! Done!!!

I can't wait to make more goodies using our NEW stuff it is a super great catalog!

Next is the amazing Tina Riddle! Not only is she amazing but she is also my stamping Mom!!
Make sure you tell her how special she is to me!

Stamp Ink Paper 26 Sketch Challenge

Hey there! Welcome to a marvelous week of Stamp Ink Paper!
Have you recovered from the weekend? Do you have your Christmas shopping done? Well all of my "Santa" shopping is done! No, I am not bragging!!! Well our design team member Maggie Mata designed this weeks sketch! I can't wait to give you the details!!

I started with a base of Cherry Cobbler Card stock. The paper is from our DSP called Farmers Market. I cut this at 5.25 inches by 4 inches. I then cut the Mossy Meadow card stock to my matte my Very Vanilla that I stamped using the pine tree from Lovely As A Tree in Mossy Meadow ink. My Happy Chistmas sentiment is from the Oh What Fun set. I used  Veramark ink and Gold Stampin' Emboss powder! To give this cutie the final touches I used the Snowflake Elements with the Home For Christmas enamel dots with a few loops of linen thread in place of the little banners on the sketch!!

Stamp Ink Paper 25 Cardmakers Choice

Welcome to a fabulous week of Stamp Ink Paper!! This weeks challenge is the best!!! A Cardmakers Choice!!! That's right, No Rules!!!!

I just love the Merry Moments DSP! So I knew that was what I was going to use when I started the card! The base is Cherry Cobbler card stock and the mattes are all done in Old Olive to coordinate with the DSP. The "Falala" sentiment is from Stampin' Up Sparkly Seasons Bundle in gold glimmer paper! For the center panel I used the medium Tree from the peaceful pines bundle. I stamped this in Versamark ink and used Gold Stampin'Emboss Powder on the Old Olive Card Stock. The final panel was stamped with "Tis the season" from the Oh What Fun photopolymer set on Whisper White card stock with Old Olive ink.
I can't wait to see what you create!
