Stamp Ink Paper #20 Color Challenge

Happy Tuesday!! I made it through a Monday with all the kids home! We had a really great weekend with family!! The kids got to see Hotel Transylvania 2 and play with their cousin all weekend! Life is "slowing" down for now... I have a craft fair in a few weeks that I REALLY need to buckle down and get ready for!

When Justin announced our challenge to the design team this week I have to say that I oozed with excitement! He had recently sent me some paper from Scrap-A-Latte. It is from Carte Bella and is called the Rustic Elegance collection!

Now,  I know I have some extra colors! But this card turned out AH-MAZING!!!!
The base is made with Early Espresso with a matte of Blushing Bride. I cut the 12 x 12 of this paper so that I could used the bottom left to make the card. I then adhered it to the Blushing Bride! I was lucky enough to have two pages of this pattern, So I fussy cut the flower in the corner and set it aside. I made about 5 loops using the metallic thread in gold. I put that underneath my fussy cut flower that I popped up with dimensionals. I then stamped "Being yourself is the prettiest thing you can be" in Versamark so that I could heat emboss this in gold. I then accented all the flowers with gold and white Wink of Stella. The Pretty Pink Posh sequins set this thing off. I used espresso and lime sorbet and used Stampin' Up's new Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere them!

So glad you stopped by!! I really just love this card!!!

Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #18 Sketch Challenge

Happy Tuesday! You made it through Monday which is always half the battle!! All is well in Tucker household other than me fighting some sort of cold. I thought it was allergies but it has gone to my chest. Kids get to go to the Pumpkin Patch with school today! So we will have 3 pumpkins to torment when they get home!

I really love the sketch that Justin came up with for us this week! I mean I really could have done anything with this sketch! So I chose to get a little festive! I hope you enjoy!

This lovely card started with a base of Crumb Cake Card stock. I used the Circle Framelits to die cut the circle with my Big Shot out of the Soft Sky Card Stock. I the used a piece of Very Vanilla and stamped the pine tree from the Lovely As A Tree set 3 times in various heights. I then adhered the Soft Sky over the Very Vanilla. I used the Very Vanilla and Crumb Cake Card stock to create the banner at the bottom on the circle. The Banner Triple Punch was the perfect item to finish off the ends. I then took the "Snow" sentiment from the Sparkly Seasons bundle and cut it out of Champagne Glimmer paper and adhered it using 2 way glue pen. The Banner was attached with Stampin' Dimensionals. I think that the Snowflake Elements are just AMAZING!! To adhere these to the card I used the new Fine Tip Glue Pen.What's a card without some ribbon or twine?! I made a fab little bow on the top right using our Linen Thread! POW!!! Done!

Thank You so much for stopping in! Have a great day!

OSAT October Blog Hop Halloween or Fall Theme

Welcome to our October OSAT Blog Hop! If you got here by way of Marisa Gunn I can't believe the amazing creations she did! She ALWAYS makes me say "Wow" and sometimes it is hard to do!! The lovely Tenia Nelson is also guest hopping with us this month! I am hoping she will want to say!!

Well as you can see this month's hop is Fall or Halloween theme! I have started creating for a local craft fair so it was hard for me to take a step back so to speak from making Christmas stuff to making Fall stuff again!  I hope you love my creations this month! I'll give you the scoop...

As you can see, I broke out my retired Sweater Weather DSP. Would you believe I somehow had an unopened pack?

So my lovely card color scheme was made with the Sweater Weather DSP colors. I started with a rich base of Chocolate Chip Card Stock. The second layer is Crushed Curry. The Very Vanilla Card Stock was stamped with Chocolate Chip using Lovely As A Tree. The banner at the top was layered on 1" Strip of the Sweater Weather DSP you will see why I used this in just a moment. I then took about 3/4" Strip of Very Vanilla and used the Banner Triple punch on both ends. I took the Very Vintage Designer Buttons and use a gold Sharpie! YES!!! A SHARPIE!!! I thought they didn't really look right plain! The cute little bows were using linen thread...
Now for the best thing ever!! I am going to be honest when I woke up Wednesday morning with NOTHING done for this hop, I was thinking Halloween... Thank heavens for emails from Splitcoast Stampers because they gave me my A-HA moment!!

Is this not totes adorbs!?!?!? You can get the tutorial here !! I'll tell you what I used! The DSP is Sweater Weather. Instead of the spools in the tutorial I used a wine cork! I used Old Olive Card stock to wrap the cork and make the leaves with retired Blossom Builder Punch. The "Vines" were made using 1/4" strips of Old Olive curled using a pencil. The bow was made using our retired Hemp Twine and I hot glued the button to the front of it. "Thanks" is from the Expressions Natural Elements. I used the Stampin' Up Doily on bottom over a burlap circle I cut with Circle collection framelit after using modge podge...

Phew!! All in a days work!!! I am so glad you stopped by! I can't wait for you to see our Guest Hoppers Tenia Nelson's goodies! She gave me a sneak peak!
Have a great rest of your week!

    Stamp, Ink, Paper Floral Challenge

Welcome back for another week of Stamp, Ink, Paper!
This week we have a beautiful challenge for all of you! The theme is a Floral!!!

Before I get to my card let me tell you something! When it was 95 last Sunday and I posted wishing for sweater weather I didn't plan on the temp dropping out in the matter of 4-5 Days... But I did get to wear a sweater! Oh and a scarf! It just gets me ready for those cozy comfort meals like Chili, Chicken and Dumplings, and all those yummy soups! I really love this time of year!

I know I have used this flower before! But I LOVE IT!!!! Pretty soon it will be all about Christmas!
I really love the simplicity and elegance of this card!

I hadn't really used my Wisteria Wonder in while so I decided to create the card base with Wisteria Wonder Card Stock. As you know I really like my layers. I did my next layer in Sahara Sand CS. The Very Vanilla card stock was stamped using the "Vintage" Stampin' Up! background stamp French Script in Sahara Sand Ink. I then inked up my Definitely Dahlia with Wisteria Wonder ink and stamped it right over the French Script. I really think this would make stunning wedding invitations! The sentiment is from Unity Stamp Co May Sentiment Kit. This was stamped with Versamark first and then sprinkled with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder then heat embossed. I finished this card with a lovely lace trim at the top and some random sized sand colored pearls!

Thank You all for stopping in! I'll be back on Thursday with some really cute Halloween goodies with all my friends on the OSAT Blog hop!
